The waiters and waitresses wear very nice and very professional, I really enjoyed the way they served us for the 7 days that we there, vert nice people, I hope to return soon.

The team was ever so kind in both reception and restaurant facilities. The setting is amazing and the location is superb.
The hotel looks a bit tired and lacks attention to detail. Empty tables, no chairs, no flowers. Maybe fewer table clothes and more attention to detail that matter? Breakfast is boring, always the same whether you like it or not, no fresh juices and little fruit. if you wanted something different you had to pay for it, so not great.
We were given a room looking at the car park, which it was horrible considering the amazing setting of the hotel. We asked for a room not overlooking the car park and we were moved to a room looking at the garden, but it was so small and uncomfortable and basic, we did not like it at all. The shower was tiny, could not wash my hair without hitting my elbows on the wall or screen! and we have no space to move, really bad. The mattress was bouncy and very uncomfortable for my taste. If you go on a holiday you want to have a good rest and the mattress didn't help.

Superb breakfast. Nice clean room with a Seaview. friendly staff. Restaurant is nice and also worth trying local food outlets for a more rustic experience
Proximity to conero walking paths is not close, check with staff about best routes and bus route which cuts out walking along the busy road - if you are without a car.

Location, excellent breakfast, surroundings, quiet location
Everything was great.

Beautiful location with gorgeous views and excellent breakfast. We went in November so good price and not too busy. Nice places to visit (by car) nearby and within 1 hour's drive (for example, 15 minutes druve from Ancona city).
Upon arrival we were asked if we would like a drink whilst the checkin was sorted. Ask for prices before you order as it wasn't on the house (our misunderstanding, we realised at checkout ;) But we enjoyed the drink anyhow :)

This is a delightful hotel, out in the middle of nowhere (yet less than 10 km from Ancona and technically walking distance from the beach, although that would involve navigating a road that is not quiet), set in truly massive grounds, most of which is garden overlooking a bay. It's delightfully quiet, sitting in the garden on one of the free loungers out there. For North Europeans, being able to sit outside all day more than comfortably in just shorts and a t-shirt at the end of October is a bit special, especially with a lovely view and almost perfect silence. We loved it, as did our dog.
The breakfast is good (although not a buffet, but rather one provided via a waiter and an extensive menu) as is the evening menu in the restaurant. There is a nice-looking swimming pool area, although that didn't tempt us at the end of October, but I imagine it's rather nice in the summer.
The restaurant's portions were rather small, but we're trying to lose weight, so this is hardly a serious gripe. And if you're the sort that wants to try a five-course meal, which we're usually not, I guess even this gripe would be irrelevant? Small or not, the food was excellent.

Amazing location. We really liked the variety of seating areas for every need. The pool was lovely. Dinner was superb and service was faultless - friendly and attentive but not overwhelming. Always one step ahead of us. Our room was small, but perfectly functional and the bathroom lovely. If I stayed again I'd pay extra for a sea-view room but as a one night stop our room was ideal. I wish we could have stayed longer. Parking was easy. Breakfast was delicious. I felt relaxed as soon as we arrived.

Our stay was very relaxing. The view is amazing and if you need to escape from the city center this is a fantastic place to stay. It has a huge garden and it is located on a hill. Breakfast was very good as well.

The staff attention to detail was 100% through the hotel and made a perfect relaxing stay after driving 1855 km from the UK before continuing to Malta
Could have done with somewhere to plug an electric car in to top up over night.

view and location
the front desk didn't give us much information.
Maybe just have more flyers in the lobby about the area and things to do locally

The location is wonderful. Far away from big mass tourism. We highly recommend this wonderful place to everyone who likes a family owned hotel and secret escape. Ideally for couples. A great Service orientied friendly, welcoming and heartful team. We stopped by on our roadtrip through South Europe and Albania. We would love to stopp by again on our trip back home.
We did not sleep in the room we have booked- we got an upgrade to a suite with a stunning view. It was just wonderful and much more that we have expected! Thank you.
There is nothing which we did not like. There is only one thing to mention. We arrived late after midnight. We stayed approx exactly 12 hours and asked kindly for a late check out. Of course it was possible - well we had to pay 30€. It would have been great if the late check out were in that case a gift by the hotel.

Amazing location on top of the Portonovo cliff. You could spend the whole day on one of many sunbeds and just enjoy the amazing view. Very friendly staff and very good solution for breakfast in CoVid times.

The hotel has an outstanding location with a large well maintained park to stroll around, a very large pool and stunning views over the Conero. Plenty of parking space is available. The hotel is already relatively old, but well maintained and the architecture of the place despite its age is impressively modern. The public spaces are large and have a stylish club atmosphere. The rooms are still modern looking and well laid out. Again, the planning architect was a master.
The room walls, ceilings and the water pipe system (ground floor at least) are poorly insulated and if the neighbour next door showers you think someone is in your room. I was unlucky because my 3 neighbours decided every day to have a long midnight shower, x3. I suggest the hotel installs a policy politely requesting guests to not use the showers after 11pm. I am sure most guests would comply voluntarily. Cheapest way to solve this issue.
