Super friendly staff, specially Giacomo (owner). Great breakfast, nice "dinner in the garden". Strong "geniu loci". We would like to visit it again.

Agriturismo is located in an ancient castle surrounded by olive groves. They produce own very tested olive oil. Near the castle there is a garden with flowers and peacocks. We lived in an apartment with two bedrooms and a living room. The master bedroom is located on the top floor in one of the towers of the castle. All rooms have high-quality natural wood furniture. Good soundproofing and silence. The bath room is equipped by good cosmetics "IDEA TOSCANA". Great pool. Near the pool there are changing rooms and warm showers.
Good location: in the morning you can sunbathe and swim in the pool, in the evening go to Florence (30-40 minutes by car). Good breakfast.
Great place to stay and relax close to Florence

The location was quiet and lovely, the apartment was large, David was a friendly and attentive host, the breakfast was excellent, Giacomo provided a good and informative tour of the property, the pool area was clean and well kept. The property had nice gardens with peacocks.
We were there in July 2023 during a heat wave and there was no air conditioning; the apartment was cool enough for us at night, but hot during the day. Having the pool area helped.

Beautiful property and accommodation. Had that magical authentic Italian villa vibe and the customer service was exceptional.
More remote to get to but once you’re there you won’t want to leave.

Absolute beautiful paradise! Staff were so friendly and accommodating- even doing a tour of this amazing building and an overview of its history. Bike hire in nearby Regello - highly recommend!
nothing - it was gorgeous!

The Fattoria Bonsi is a historic mansion that exceeded by far our expectations: a well-kept truly beautiful parc where you can stroll or let your children play. Absolutely quiet if you do not mind the rare screams of the 3 majestic peacocks, you are imbedded in the beautiful authentic countrside of the Valdarno. We were served breakfast every day, a real treat.
I cannot think of anything.

The property is gorgeous with beautiful views and has a fascinating history. Giacomo and his team were wonderful. They were very gracious and we felt like treasured guests. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious—even the member of our group who dislikes breakfast in general loved them.

Location is remote in the middle of the nature. It was late November but the fall season was still colorful. The place and the farm is ancient and gives you the feeling of the beautiful Tuscany.
Giacomo (the owner) is an special man who is really welcoming and help us during our stay.
This place is luxurious for being in this remote area.
To enjoy the place, you have to know that you are in remote area and you choose to be there with disadvantages related to that including no near restaurants or markets and you need a car to enjoy the stay

Very quiet and peaceful place, beautiful and cosy apartment. The chateau and the garden feel like from another century but are kept in very good shape. Breakfast was perfect, complete with warm croissants and fantastic home-made jams.
Giacomo was a wonderful host, he was always available for our questions and always took the time to chat with us, even though he was busy with the olive harvest. Thanks again for everything, we'll recommend your place to our friends and look forward to coming back one day!

We had a really nice time at Il Bonsi. The place is fantastic, its out of the way so its very peaceful and quiet but its not far to drive to different places and explore Tuscany. The apartment we stayed in was very comfortable, breakfast was very good too, very varied. Giacomo was very nice, he gave us a tour of how they press the olives to make olive oil which was very interesting. I would definitely recommend it and would go back myself!

We had a wonderful and calm time here in the beautiful hills of Tuscany but not far away away from cities. Our apartment was very large and comfortable. All buildings have their own atmosphere and history. Beautiful garden and of course the castle, a lot of facilieties (swimming pool, barbeque area etc).

My family had a great stay. Our apartment was lovely.
You do need a car to get around - it is a working facility so interesting and steeped in history that the tour the very nice owner gave us during our stay helped our understanding and increased our knowledge of the area and olive oil production. The pool and surrounding facilities were very welcoming. We ate in the local restaurants and got the train for a great day trip to Florence. Would definitely recommend.

Good communication and really nice people.
Quiet and green environment.
Very nice swimming pool area.
The price to pay for a quiet place is the long distance on very stretch roads to go to the main places to visit.
We had a coule of issues during our stay (lazy flush, complete water disruption) hopefully quickly fixed by the staff.

The location is fantastic! most beautiful location I have ever seen. Beautiful castle with a nice garden and some cute animal friends hanging around. The swimming pool was really nice and relaxing. Giacomo is a great host with a lot of knowledge about the estate’s history and the region. He gave us a tour around the property on our first day and we loved it.
The room was beautiful, but a bit too warm upstairs where we were sleeping (even with airco on). Would be nice to be able to open a window upstairs during the hot summer nights. Also the shower was a bit small and uncomfortable.

The property is just amazing. Around every corner is another beautiful sight. The host Giacomo is very welcoming and helpful. The pool area is very nice, with or without children.
The only thing I can say is bad pressure in the shower

I absolutely love everything about our stay. If you’re looking for isolated space where you can just relax, Agriturismo Bonsi is the right choice! The garden is stunning, the swimming pool is of great size and you can watch amazing sunsets every night. Giacomo was very helpful and I’m sure we’ll be back one day. I highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay at Bonsi in our 2 person little “castle tower”. The accommodation has everything you will need, very helpful staff and beautiful surroundings! Close to Florence and nice neighbourhood to walk. We would like to come back sometime!

Spectacular in every sense - location, history, which goes back to middle ages, the castle, old winecellars, olive oil manufacturig lines (old and new), the owner. I can’t recommend this place enough! They produce fantastic olive oil and wine too!

The place is really beautiful and the people are very nice. They always made an effort to make us feel comfortable and at home. Loved it.
4.5
Really nice location, very quiet. We were warmly welcomed by Francesca on arrival and shown around the property and she explained the extra Covid 19 rules for the Agritourismo. Pool was great and big, we had separate parasols and sun chairs for each apartment, very Covid 19 safe, and we were informed of the max. number of people allowed in the pool. Our apartment was big and cool in the day even without air condition. The lock in the gate to the pool area was not working the first day, but was fixed as soon as we mentioned it. As a family of 5 it was nice to have plenty of hot water for the showers and lots of space. Good recommendations for restaurants in the welcome folder. I can only recommend Bonsi, great place :-)
Wifi was not great, but it worked okay in one of the rooms. Francesca informed us that they were trying to get it to work better by getting a new antenna, which would be nice.
It would be nice to have a brief history of the Buildings in the welcome folders.

Relaxing and beautiful place surrounded by olive orchards. The house was clean and comfortable. Very nice pool to cool down on hot summer days. Friendly staff.
