The bed was good. The view from the window was good too!
Bathroom should be upgraded. A shower unit would be good.

Staff were so lovely and really made the stay comfortable, the location was beautiful and the Chalet was immaculate and perfect for a weekend away.
Everything was perfect.

Terrible place. Appalling attitude of owner. Cold, no food, no bar. Suggested a 12 mile round trip to local chip shop for my supper (it was closed). Point blank refused to give a refund. Sent a message via Booking.com after I'd left for another hotel, telling me the kitchens were closed, to try and cover herself. After refusing my refund request, I told her I was going to give her a scathing review. She replied, "I'm used to receiving scathing reviews,"!!!! Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic location, right on a Loch, with its own beach. Woodland walks behind property. Direction given at reception..Lovely large room with en-suite bathroom. Old fashioned hotel attitude, so super dog friendly. Dogs treated as guests themselves not as an addition to me.
Water bowls throughout hotel, even go towels on the radiator in lobby so you can dry your dogs if they have a paddle or swim in the loch…my two did exactly that..
Nothing.

service was great - shout out to Sam who made our stay. The area is amazing and has beautiful views from your room. Super dog friendly but also areas for those who did not bring dogs. Food was also lovely
the decor of the hotel does not match the menu / quality of the food so it did feel like the price of the food was quite high. The restaurant interior and hotel generally is quite dated and could do we a refresh to match the food menu which is modern/fresh - can be very easily changed

Good view over the loch
Musty smell in corridors & room

Easy to find hotel and the location was nice with view of the lake. Clean and large room with refrigerator and a large bed. The continental breakfast had various selection and was very nice.
The hotel was old with floor that creaked and had an funny odor in ground floor. Could have toaster and toasts standing in front during breakfast which would make self service easier.

Food was really nice, especially the plant based breakfast
Wi fi only available at front of building, only one vegetarian option on dinner menu, rooms were a bit dated,

The view from the window was exceptional. The loch and its surroundings are constanly changing, due to weather and people making use of the loch! The walks around the property are also very enjoyable.

Lovely view
The bedroom needs a bit of updating and a wardrobe, no where to hang your clothes

Lovely location and such gorgeous views. Super comfortable bed, so cosy! Dinner was excellent value and exceptional quality, really rate the Chef. Super dog friendly, we were made so welcome.
It's showing a bit of wear and tear but it's 3 star and the owner is doing it up as she goes. My biggest issue was I was a bit chilly, but next time I'll just pack a big jumper!

The location is what really sells this property, it’s overlooking a beautiful loch in a remote area.
unfortunately we had issues with the room. We booked a King room with a Lake suite (pet free). we were given a small double room without a view of the loch, instead a view of a wall which was pet friendly. What made matters worse was when we took this up with the staff, rather than apologise she tried to tell us to be happy with what we had?

We stayed here for one night mid Dec. We knew dinner wasn't an option but stayed for the view. We were not disappointed! We got a lochside view and watched a very frosty sunset and watched the sunrise reflect off the snowy hills. Beautiful! Staff were very friendly.
I think the heating in our room was only turned on just before we arrived so we didn't really feel warm until we returned later that night after dinner.

Room view, lovely bathroom
Very spacious comfortable room
Unfortunately restaurants were closed for the period of our stay, but to be fair we did know in advance.
Think the outside and social areas could do with some love.

view of the lake.

The location was great. Ideal base for travelling about.
There wasn't a chef so unable to get any meals. It was a continental breakfast which we didn't have as they stopped serving at 10am.

This hotel sits in prime position looking right up the loch with beautiful scenery. Very dog friendly with great walks from right behind the hotel. Plenty of parking. Large well appointed room. Dining room area is lovely & spacious with amazing views also.
Was told on arrival that restaurant was closed & breakfast was continental only. We would not have stayed here if we had known & feel we should have been advised!!! Very small village, with hardly any amenities. Had to try & book meal at neighbouring hotel at short notice, which was stressful. This “bar” was lacking comfortable chairs.
