Es hat alles super gepasst
Wer in den hinteren Bungalows wohnt, muss einen Weg hochgehen, der für ältere oder eingeschränkte Menschen beschwerlich sein kann.

Cibo, Accoglienza, personale, pulizia, intrattenimento

The ambiance, the food and the amenities. Lots of activities for the kids; volleyball, beach football, pool, foosball, darts, ping pong, water sports.
Nothing

Location was heel goed en erg vriendelijk personeel
Op het moment dat je het strand op ging vanaf het resort werd je constant lastig gevallen door mannen om spullen te kopen waardoor je niet rustig over het strand kon lopen.
4.3
Our room location was amazing. Right on the beach. The general manager was very hospitable and went out of his way to make us feel welcome
4.3
The resort looks nice, a nicely maintained and decorated yard and the area around the pool right next to the beach with very nice white sand. The staff is friendly, we didn't have a kettle in the room, and when we asked for it, they immediately brought it to us. Beautiful traditional beach houses, unfortunately we didn't. we got accommodation in those houses, and we were given those pictures when booking through booking com. We got remote rooms with a lot of stairs. Those rooms are very small with outdated and rusty bathroom equipment and a very hard and uncomfortable mattress, not for those with back problems .I did not expect that accommodation for that price. Quite windy in that location. The internet is very weak in the room and there is almost none at all.
Water in the bathroom is very salty.
I don't understand why we had to pay immediately upon arrival, even though we booked with a card through booking, but at the end at check out
The prices are too high compared to Kendwa and Hotel Gold and you have no possibility to go anywhere else nearby
price for drink and lunch.I know this might be a problem al over the island but the beach boys can really be iritatally and dont leave you alone to enjoy the beach

Beautiful location and beautiful property. Good food.
The rooms are small.

The location with beautiful beach
1- water in bathroom is very saline.
2- bathroom no water pressure.

location, friendly staff, excellent service,
limited choice of food for vegetarians

book the other resort. it’s cheaper and they both share all facilities. the food is better is the resort next door. this one is more expensive and i can’t work out why. the huts are nice but I don’t think it’s worth it tbh.
when I got there, they charged me more and then it took ages for them to give me the difference back

- Beautiful outstading place. We went on May, raining season and either on sunny or rainy days, the place is wonderful
- Beach tide varies, but if you don't get lucky, pools are stunning and clean. You can also use the pool of Blue Bay Resort that is just next door, which is not only also clean but breathtaking.
- Hotel Entertainment really good! Every night there is either a DJ, or dancing crew, or a live band.
- Food is delicious, they have a great food variation and dinner theme varies everyday. Even if you are or have picky eaters with you, they have a lot of good options. I may say that some dishes I didn't like before, for example, Biryani Rice, however, I gave it another chance here, because it looked really good and I loved it. Is a great place to try different food.
- Cleaning is also outstanding, the housekeeping team work really hard and our room was always spotless clean.
- Our room was beautiful decorated due to our wedding anniversary celebration, beautiful leafs and hibiscus all around. At 22h (when we were just back at the room) someone called offered to come and change the sheets, which was not needed.
- The bed is so comfortable that I still cry at night missing it.
- Kitchen staff is also outstanding, if you are celebrating your birthday here, please inform reception. I am definetly coming back for celebrating mine. Their "Happy Birthday" is so nice, that I felt like singing and dancing for everyone's birthday.
- Water sports without engine included!
- If you love cats, you will love the local cats around! If you don't like cats, just don't mind them and they won't interact with you. Please don't harm them.
** My first advice is for you to check if a Visa is needed for your natinality or not.
** Second advice is to bring bug repellent. Not only here, but every place you travel to. Malaria can happen everywhere in the world and the only one who can avoid is you. On our flight back home, we had a passenger who needed Emergency care due to Malaria symptoms. So please be mindful (:
- No easy emails to contact the hotel directly. The email and phone informed here is not answered at all, messages written through Booking.com (The "contact the hotel" box) are answered only every 24 hours by George. I had to purchase International Call package so I could call a couple of numbers and finally find one phone that was answered by Josephine, who's a star. My concern was regarding the Visa, and I thought we would have to cancel.
- Booked an airport shuttle and an early check in with George and my shuttle never arrived. My room was also not ready and had to wait. Both of them confirmed though Booking.com
- Prices here are more expensive than other parts of the island, for example, Paje. As you don't have restaurants or supermarkets around, food and beverage at the hotel is extremely expensive. It pushes you to buy the all you can eat and all you can drink package, which is not cheap at all, but at least is cheaper than buy drinks all the time.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding! Lots of security so we felt safe- beautiful beaches.
We requested a cot for our room when we booked which wasn’t ready when we needed it and it took them the whole day to organise one for us. Otherwise everything was great.
4.3
beautyful location and beach, nice and super friendly staff, excellent food, one can use also ameneties of bluebay resort nearby.
wifi a bit slow
4.3
I had an emergency operation before my trip and they refuse to refund me they just out for the money
4.3
very green spacious resort, beautiful beach, very friendly waiters, saw a bushbaby on the roof one evening, bed is comfortable, gym is well equipped with brand new machines
as we were not all inclusive, all extras costed a lot more than the worth. we have experienced over priced laundry service and beverage prices
4.3
It's very nice smaller hotel than BlueBay which makes it more comfortable and quieter. The food is tasty and even there is no huge selection it's good enough. Stuff is professional so it makes your stay very pleasant and relaxing. I think that this is very good choice if you go to visit Zanzibar.
I missed option of All Inclusive when booking at Booking.com. You can pay locally as upgrade but it would be reasonable to have this option on this portal.
Wifi range/bandwidth is definitely something to improve.

This place is absolutely stunning and we already plan to come back! :) We booked 4 nights and then extended for 4 more as we really liked the resort. Amazing food 3 times a day (all you can eat buffet), live music every day!! plus local dance shows and masai performances, beautiful beach with the finest white sand, very kind and helpful staff members, nice architecture and decorations in the hotel. We were bit afraid of the low tide in Zanzibar when we read about it, but you can swim all day long except maybe 2 hours during lunch time, so it was absolutely ok. We did also some nice trips with the local people selling their services on the beach, they are little bit pushy but we always had a great time and never regreted, plus you support local people directly and not just the resort. The beach is very clean, there is just grass from the sea, some days more some days less. We have been to many exotic countries all around the world so we can compare the resorts and we were really surprised that we haven't seen a single piece of plastic or garbage on the beach during our 8 days here, wow!
Ice coffee or cappuccino is not covered by all inclusive and you have to pay extra for every cup! :( We also missed some very basic cocktails in the all inclusive menu like Mojito or Pina Colada. Sport equipment like table tennis needs renovation, the gym is smelly bcs of rubber floor. It would be nice if the beach is cleaned from the sea grass every day, I know the grass is natural stuff but without that the beach would be even more perfect, like a paradise :)

Beachfront facilities were really good! And the New Years Eve Dinner was an excellent menu and food quality!
The regular lunch and dinner buffets could have been improved
4.3
our stay was really amazing. the staff were super kind all the time and always there for support. tha manager Mr. Dass is the best, always there and trying to solve any of your problems. they give support on booking for COVID tests as well. the food is amazing and they have a lot of variety, and everyday it’s different menu. the hotel is beachfront and really calm
if you are expecting to get relaxed. overall it was a really nice stay and we highly recommend!!!
the rooms are ok, but we stay on one that was really far away and with lots of stairs, not expecting that for the price we payed. but then the rooms was good, with some sea view, clean, with ac and well prepared for the mosquitos. the internet could be better. (at the beach and bar it was OK)
4.3
Beautiful all round. Was an absolute treat to stay there
4.3
Excellent service led by Mr Daas, the GM
4.3
Great location, approx 1hr from Zanzibar airport, $50 oneway transport, great communication thru "Whats App", driver was kind and respectful. Resort is really nice with gorgeous grounds, clean pools.
The resort mostly has a European clientele.
Workers are kind and helpful
Way to pricey for what we received, the USD is very strong in Tanzania.
We had to pay upon arrival, not sure why we couldnt pay when we checked out.
Rooms are quite a distance from front desk, keep this in mind for people with disabilities.
Beds are very hard, made with Styrofoam, European standards, not comfy like USA beds. We did not sleep well for 3 days.
Check out was 10am, manager did let us check out at 11:30am
Food was rather repetitive daily
All inclusive drinks
Beach was not clean, seaweed needed to be cleaned daily
Peddler begging and bothering us on the beach, very tired, we could not enjoy beach time.
Transport to airport was to expensive using USD. Our money is worth alot in Tanzania.
Europeans using their hands to handle food, and being unclean around the food area, we are still in Covid season.
WiFi weak
We paid $20 for 10minute ride to take the Covid Test Cost was $80, hotel of course making money off the scheme.
Covid Testing loaction was in the a bldg that was not temperature regulated, not a sterile enviroment. Im convinced Africa has turned the Covid testing into a money making business shamefully.
The manager should hire beggers to clean seaweed and pay them. We have jobs and want to relax on vacation, not be harassed.
Unfortunately we would not stay here again, comfort is why we stay at resorts, not to lay in the sun.
4.3
The food, the rooms, the staff, the service, everything was amazing. We stayed for 7 nights and would definitely choose this hotel again. The Manager Mr Dass is such a helpful and kind man. He helped us with everything during our stay. He was always out chatting with the guests and making sure everybody was ok. A BIG thank you to him for helping us and making our stay wonderful. Also a big thank you to all the Amazing staff and their service.🌺🙏
We were happy with everything
4.3
Everything. The Management went out of there way to help with everything you need. The food was of high standards and a lot to chose from. The room was clean and need. Will visit it again.
I know this might be a problem all over the Island, and not under the control of the resort, but the 'walkers" on the beach can really be irritating and don't leave you alone to enjoy the beach.
4.3
Lovely staff, great beach front location, food was very nice and it had a great bed (compared to some of the other resorts).
If I had to put my finger on it:
Most of the staff were wonderful, but a few from the bar and reception were a bit rude.
The pool was a bit cold, which was especially noticeable in the afternoon when there was shade and sea breeze.
Restaurant opening at 7.30pm is a little difficult with small kids, but they were very accommodating to order something in advance for earlier dining.
4.3
Staff very friendly, and supportive,
Thank you for all the days, was always very helpful,
Thank you Mr. Dass and team for the excellent hospitality service
