Exceptional and that's an understatement so where do I start!
The welcoming was simply spectacular. The accomodation we stayed in is just around the corner from Addo Elephant National Park (in fact it shares a fence with the park itself but no climbing over please lol), the Sundays River and indemnities. It's tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture and ethnic art and it has all the comfort and facilites one can dream of including solar panels so no load shedding annoying experience. Oh and did I mention the fantastic garden!
And last but not least, Vicky the host is a truly remarkable lady. She gave us all the info we needed to know about the place and things to do during our stay. Her friendliness, dedication and communication skills are simply amazing, she is the epitome of hospitality and it was a privilege to meet her. Thank you so much Vicky! 😍😊💓🤩

The host was amazing! Even though there was a full day power outage she kept us in a loop with updates and then greeted us with hot water in the thermos and bunch of lamps and chocolate eggs <3
Honestly the stay was amazing.

close to the N2, so quick overnight stop after long day of travelling but weren’t aware of road traffic when inside. Good communication from Vicky as to directions etc and was given lamps and flask for loadshedding. Viewing deck that looks onto cliffs of Addo Elephant Park

The location was great, just a few minutes from Addo south gate. The host was friendly and accommodating, and the view from the deck upstairs was beautiful.

it was clean and well equipped and we were close to the entrance of Addo.
it’s location isn’t the best

The location to Addo game reserve was a mere 7-minute drive, ideal. Vicky was very friendly and welcoming and helpful with local knowledge of where to eat, shop, and local directions.
While the accommodation was great it is situated at the foot of a mountain and falls into the shadows and is frightfully cold. There were extra blankets but a heater to warm the air would have been great.
