We had an amazing stay, and Little Garden Guest House is exceptional in every way. The property is beautifully decorated with Indian textiles, the rooms are stylish and beds very comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are particularly welcoming, kind, and helpful. It’s in a great location and within walking distance to all of the major sights. Thank you for a fantastic experience. We will be back and recommend it to others.
Everything was fantastic.

Good location, at the heart of Udaipur but at the same time protected from the traffic noise since not on the main street;
Staff is amazing, Shanti helped us with laundry, transfer and general recommentadions
Great breakfast with both continental and indian styel options
Room is comfortable and very clean
Nothing. If you compare with other options this will be a bit more expensive but we thought it was worth it for the extra comfort

Little Garden Guest House is magical. This guest-house is family-run, and is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. Akshay and his staff are all very welcoming, and attentive. Little Garden offers breakfast, and dinner service. The food is delicious and staff are happy to meet any dietary requirements, and will offer alternative options if necessary. Akshay also offers tours around the city/palace. This was a reasonable price, and very informative!
At the guesthouse, there is also a roof-top terrace that you can use at any time. We enjoyed Chai Masala Tea whilst taking in the view from this terrace. Little Garden Guest House has been perfect, I would highly recommend this stay!

Our stay was beyond perfect. Both the owner and Shanti made everything so easy and relaxing. The room was designed beautifully and had the most comfortable bed of our whole visit to India. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. They gave us amazing dining and shopping recommendations. I can't wait to visit again!

I really liked The Little Garden Guest House and had a wonderful stay. The Haveli is beautiful and so we'll take care of and nicely decorated. Although it is very central ( 3 mins walk from Palace and Jagdish Temple) it is very quiet inside. There is a lovely roof terrace if you want to sit and read or get a view of the palace at night. The staff and family took great care of me and Akshay was a wonderful host who was happy to organise onward travel. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are coming to Udaipur.
5 mins walk to the palace entrance and the Ghats.
I especially liked Millets of Marwer restaurant beside the palace entrance for vegan and vegetarian food.
I liked everything about the Little Garden Guest House. The staff were fantastic.

An absolute must for anyone visiting Udaipur. We arrived really early in the morning (around 6am) as we had just taken the night train from Jaipur. Our host was super nice and showed us to our room immediately, leaving check-in for after our nap. The room was the most beautiful room we stayed in during our whole trip. It was bright, with a wonderful comfortable bed, and very clean. We had an amazing breakfast and met some really wonderful fellow travelers. Our host provided us with a map full of the best recommendations for things to do in Udaipur, so don't worry about planning anything for your stay, just show up and follow the directions!
I honestly don't have anything bad to say, this is hands down the best place to stay at when you are in Udaipur.

This was a fantastic place to stay in Udaipur. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with attractive decor. Despite being in a busy area it was quiet and restful.
The staff were all wonderful - owners Akshay and Jyoti were welcoming and had great recommendations, Shanti was incredibly helpful and friendly at breakfast and offering to arrange transport at better prices than elsewhere, and Prem and Kishan were great too. There was a general willingness to help.
The breakfast was delicious and great value, including things like omelettes and pancakes, and chai made to personal preferences.
We stayed at the so-called five star Leela Palace afterwards, but honestly our stay at Little Garden felt much more special. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're in Udaipur.
Nothing comes to mind.

Everything! Friendly, helpful and genuine staff. Spotlessly clean. Whole property and in particular the rooms were really nicely decorated and well presented. Delicious and reasonably priced breakfast (250 INR per person for buffet style). Laundry service, airport pickup/drop off, city palace tours all available through the hotel at a reasonable price. Great location in the centre of the old city, city palace entrance is less than 10mins walk.
We liked everything and this is outside of the property’s control, but one factor to be aware is that the road the property is on running through the old town is sometimes closed to cars in the evening (varies night to night), so if arriving by taxi from station or airport there’s a chance you’ll need to do the last 500m either walking or by tuk tuk.

I’ve never stayed at a property like this before. The indoor/outdoor living space was very interesting! The rooms in our “apartment” were cozy, comfortable and clean. Our private rooftop terrace was a surprise and it’s a great spot for yoga. Breakfast was yummy and it kept on coming. Our host Akshay was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. I won’t stay anywhere else in Udaipur ever again!
loved everything!

Akshay and his staff are wonderful hosts & the property is delightful - a heritage building looked after with care and consideration for guests. it’s also a short walk away from the hustle & bustle of main touristy bit so is a little bit of an oasis. we loved our stay here.
bring your ear plugs as the stray dogs on the streets outside are rowdy at night - but that is par for the course in India!

Absolutely must visit if you are looking for accommodation in Jodhpur. We loved everything about this guesthouse. The building itself was beautiful and centrally located near the city palace and all sorts of shops and restaurants. The owner was very helpful and welcoming and answered all of our queries with a smile. The room was very spacious, clean and aesthetically beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. This guesthouse was our favorite place in all of the hotels we stayed in India.

This unique guesthouse, which dates from the 1850s, has been lovingly renovated and offers a combination of historical charm and modern amenities. I stayed two nights in a deluxe ac room which has Belgian stained glass windows and ancient wooden doors. Mirror work cushions in the window sitting niche and delicate wall paintings add local flair. The bed is soft with plentiful pillows and clean linen and the bathroom has brand new fixtures. Akshay is a very welcoming and obliging host who can cook up a tasty cheese masala omelette for breakfast served with yummy chai. Located within walking distance of Jagdish Temple and City Palace, this is a lovely place to stay while exploring Udaipur.

We had a brilliant stay at Little Garden Guest House in September, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a well established, clean, tastefully decorated and reliable guest house. The location was excellent for walking to the main lakes and far enough from the adjoining street to get a good night sleep. Room was perfectly spacious, bed was comfortable, good air conditioning and the shower/bathroom worked very well. This place is superb value. You really cannot ask for me.
We are very grateful to the team for making us feel so welcome!

One of the best places we stayed during our trop to India.
Room decor was great and the place felt super clean. Location was perfect - positioned right in the centre of Udaipur and walking distance to most attractions.
Akshay made us feel very welcome and even showed us around the town on his moped. He treated us to some chai, a tour of the temple and a few local shops.
Could not recommend more, this made Udaipur one of our favourite places in India!

I really enjoyed my stay here, perfect location & it's a very beautiful old house. The room is a bit small but very pretty, and the owner is very helpful - he got me a table and chair for the room when I asked!
AC works well and the room was surprisingly quiet since it faced the inner yard, and is a bit away from the street.
The Wifi used a capturing portal that I had to log in a few times, which was annoying, and the speed was slow, only 3 to 4 Mbps

It's house owned by sixth generation family, room was good and beds were comfortable. Bathroom is clean and good. We took big room, So it's was comfortable. It's very near to most of the places to cover.
Narrow steps, each time we need to climb with luggage.

The place has a beautiful character, (unlike the typical cosmopolitan hotels which all look and feel alike). Beautifully refurbished with Authentic old world charm. Attention to details in terms of room decor. The pillows and the quilts were to die for and everything, including the bathroom was impeccably clean! Perfect location.
Newer towels could be offered.

We loved our stay at Little Garden Guest House! Akshay and his wife Jodie are wonderful people, helping with everything you need. Akshay is super fun to talk to as well. The guesthouse is right in the center of Udaipur within walking distance of everything. The rooms are beautifully designed and decorated, bathrooms are new and breakfast is perfect (ask for masala omelette). Would 100% recommend staying here!!
