Simple but very clean property - had everything I needed for a stay here with great views, lots of space in the room, and a great shower.
What took it to the next level however was the incredible service I received - I’d like to specifically thank Mahendrasingh at the front desk. I was feeling unwell during my stay and he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and looked after. The customer service I received was incredible!

The room was spacious, bed comfortable, bed linen cotton, bathroom was spacious, as well, and the ac was good.
We had to pay additional 3000.00 rupees to get a room with the view.
The food at the hotel was indifferent, and not enough staff speak English.
3.6
The room was comfortable.
The food was excellent. The location amazing. The staff excellent and very helpful and friendly.
There were several power points that were not working. Wash basin tap was dripping. The windows could not be opened as the rear side was a garbage dump infested with mosquitoes.
Cable TV did not work.
The breakfast menu did not have much variety in terms of fruit or continental options.

I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience here. The hotel's location is simply beautiful, with stunning views of the city and Lake. The hotel's facilities are also top-notch, with spacious and well-appointed rooms that are beautifully decorated and furnished with all the modern amenities you could need.
The staff at Brahma Niwas were also incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay all the more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's rooftop restaurant, which serves some of the most delicious food I've ever tasted. The views from the rooftop are simply stunning, and it's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Udaipur. Overall, I would highly recommend Brahma Niwas to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Udaipur.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Brahma Niwas in Udaipur, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was shown to my room promptly. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I was impressed with the attention to detail that the hotel had put into the decor and furnishings. The bed was comfortable and cozy, and I had a great night's sleep every night of my stay. One of the standout features of Hotel Brahma Niwas was the rooftop terrace. The views of the city and the surrounding views were breathtaking, and it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or a meal. The restaurant on the terrace served delicious food, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel's location was also ideal - it was within walking distance of many of Udaipur's main attractions, including the City Palace and the Jagdish Temple. The staff were also happy to arrange transportation for me when I needed it. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Brahma Niwas to anyone visiting Udaipur. I can't wait to visit again!

Well located, budget hotel which tries to project itself as a luxury hotel. The room was spacious as it was a family suite but poorly designed. Breakfast was just passable. Not a great experience.
Except room space almost everything.

like the view and the pool. staff were friendly
room was very overpriced. compared to other places in the area and state it is a lot more expensive. room service was also a bit strange, always trying to charge you when they deliver instead of closing the bill at the end.

Love the location and spacious rooms, the rooftop restaurant with live music..
The towels need to be upgraded

Location and property
Wifi range was poor

The location was good and the room was spacious
The TV was not working and there was no hair dryer. The receptionist/Manager was rude when asked to get the TV fixed.
Towels, hand wash etc were not given unless asked. We had to call the reception for all these. For the money we pay (Rs 7500 per day), a room and the lake view from the room is all that we get.

Dinner at the Hotel restaurant was good.
Worst hotel stay ever. Beware, we got scammed after paying very high 4-star hotel rates in late December, but got worse than 2-star room. This was originally a 2-star hotel, currently sold as 4-star because it got partly renovated. Our room is in the building which is not renovated at all. The heritage floors were at least 70-80 years old, extremely dirty. Towels were worse than 2-star hotel. The hotel staff is good, but untrained and severely under-staffed. The staff told us that the owner doesn't want to spend money on fixing the dirty floors. We heard most guests complaining at the front desk for one reason or the other.

The property is really nice. It is conveniently located. The ambience and the aura is excellent. Staff is very courteous and attentive. Always willing to assist you. Worth every single penny spent.
Thank you for your hospitality & kindness.
Nothing as such. All was good.

The pool.
When we first walked in, there was another guest saying to leave because the rooms weren't clean...and it definitely turned out to be true. We should've listened and left right then.
Everything else was bad here. The WiFi would not connect for more than 2 minutes at a time. The room was dirty and there was hair on both of our rooms. When we asked for new sheets they said they didn't have any. My bathroom didn't have toilet paper or a floor towel until I asked.
The staff wasn't helpful in making sure things were taken care of. No concierge so the front desk staff would just point to a cab guy when we asked any questions. No help at all. The room keys needed to be renewed each day...waste of time.
I don't know who's running this place but it is in no way a 4 star hotel. Be very aware you are not going to get your monies worth.
