A comfortable stay.

Lovely owners especially the sweet lady who would try hard to make your stay an enjoyable one. The homestay is basic but funtional and okay for the quoted price. Lady owner prepared good breakfasts and tasty meals for lunch and dinner. From the upper floor’s dining/common area, one could see a little of the sea (50m away) and definitely hear the soothing sound of lapping waves. Almost right in front of the homestay is a good restaurant right by the shoreline.

Mattress was rather soft and not good for back problems.

Great time with amazing people

The room was nice but the problem was that there was no AC. Otherwise, the journey was amazing, a great family that is always taking care of their guests. Always smiling and joking making our journey even greater ! I advise you to ask for a homemade cook fish ! It was the best one I had in my entire 30 days trip in Sri Lanka !

A wonderful stay with a super friendly and helpful family!

The hosts were an incredibly friendly and helpful family who welcomed us into their home. They cooked us an incredible dinner and made great breakfasts! They also helped us to arrange our excursions and transfers. The rooms were really clean and comfortable with good aircon. The villa is right by the beach and you can hear the waves at night which was lovely. There are also lots of restaurants nearby! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfekte Unterkunft für ein paar Tage am Strand

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand und ist dadurch ideal gelegen. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist extrem nett und hilfsbereit, sie haben uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich gemacht.

Leider hat ein Mülleimer im Zimmer gefehlt.

Very close to the beach, the surf can be heard up in the room. Spacious rooms and large shared terrace. The host family was friendly.

Compared to other places I stayed in Sri Lanka, the breakfast was good (especially the freah bread), but rather small for the price.

Great place but be too high prices

It is a guest house run by a lovely family. They make you feel as a part of it. Amazing food, good size bed and clean space. You can use open space all over the property. It is 30 seconds from the beach. If you need relaxing holidays I can highly recommend it

But don't agree on any extra facilities without agreeing for the cost of it. We were asked if we want a lunch, we asked about the price and got an answer 'don't think about it now' then at the end when we received a bill, we were very surprised. If we knew prices will be so high we would eat somewhere else (but food was absolutely amazing)

We liked the host Mr. Tehno, Mrs. Nilanthi and their son so much, that came back for the second time! Thank them for a friendly, sincere, kind and a family-like attitude! P.S. The meals of Mrs. Nilanthi are super delicious.

Really friendly family and very helpfully! We asked for a AC Room and they changed very fast. The place is really nice and very colse to the ocean. I can absolutely recommend it!

Good

I stayed during one night at Sasagara Beach Villa. The host family is super nice and welcoming. I had also lunch after the welcoming drink there and it was very tasty. The location is super to go to the beach and close to restaurant options. The house has a very nice garden with place outside to stay.

Installations are a bit old, but among Sri Lanka average. To stay a couple of nights is recommendable.

Lovely, family homestay

family were very friendly and caring. always so helpful arranging trips to watch the turtles, recommendations on what to do in tangalle. Family are able to offer meals for guests, are very close to the beach. Rooms were clean with mosquito nets available.

Meals were a little more expensive than expected, but were very nice.

The family who owns this place is very kind and welcoming. The dinner we ate at the hostel was very good. The accommodation is very close to the beach and the rooms were clean.

Exceptional

We had a great stay in Sasagara beach villa. The room was nice with a very clean bathroom, the lady prepared for us delicious dinner, we got a welcome drink and all it is only few meters from the sea. Very nice and chill place :) and whole family was super nice.

The family who runs this is soooo nice! Just for them you should book this place! It’s located near the center and all the beach restaurants, you can take a tuktuk to the more beautiful beaches in the neighborhood
