Estadia Perfeita

Pequeno almoço com produtos frescos todos os dias assim como ótima comida ao almoço e jantar. Funcionárias muito simpáticas e sempre preocupadas com o nosso bem estar.

Schöner, erholsamer Quinta Urlaub mit sehr netten, freundlichen Schwestern u Mutter als gute Köchin

Für ppppportugisische Verhältnisse haben wir ein sehr gutes und reichliches Frühstück mit einem sehr guten Kaffee bekommen. Das Restaurant bietet landestypisches Essen mit guter handwerklicher Küche an. Die angebotenen Weine kann man empfehlen. Schöne Zimmer in der umgebauten Scheune Scheunenhölzer am Balkon lassen sich wie Klappläden öffnen. Schöne architektonische Renovierung der Quinta. Herrlicher Pool. Die beiden Schwestern sind sehr freundlich und geben tolle Empfehlung für Ausflüge in den Nationalpark Geres. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Der Eingangsbereich am Bach könnte sauberer sein und die eingestürzte Mühle sollte auch saniert werden, wäre eine Bereicherung für das Anwesen.

Very nice Quinta in beautiful surroundings

Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. The location was ok, although a little far away from any restaurants

The pool was not open due to maintenance. I would have liked to know, because I specifically choose this property for the pool. If known, I could have chosen a different property closer to amenities.

Tem tudo o que se deseja de um retiro no meio da natureza!

Desde o momento que chegamos até ao momento da partida, fomos tratados com muita simpatia e atenção. O pequeno almoço, assim como o jantar, foram muito bem servidos. Os produtos de excelente qualidade, caseiros, feitos com amor e dedicação. Sentimo-nos mimados!

Excellent. Will definitely come back when I am around.

The location is fantastic. An old farm house, renovated, with a nice pool in the large garden. Guests could eat at the hotel on early reservation, and the meals were great. We enjoyed the terrace and the sunsets. The hosts are really taking care of their guests. The hotel is run by two sisters and their mam, and they are doing a great job. A good place to relax, especially after some hiking in the nearby national park.

Our stay in Quinta de Bârbedo was marvelous! The staff was superb, always available to attend us and give us the best experience! The hotel has good facilities and a good location for those who want to go to Gerês. But the greatest aspect is the food! The food is wonderful! It's typical Portuguese food, but with the taste of mom/grandma food 🤤 Even the sandwichs from the snack bar service are great! Great quality and not expensive! We totally recommend Quinta de Bârbedo! And we hope to go again someday...

Beautiful, peaceful, professional and gorgeous!

Breakfast was generous and well presented. The location was perfect for visiting the area. The setting was wonderful. The staff, Suzanna was fabulous; attentive, engaged and present to all needs and friendly as well.

Peaceful getaway very close to Gerês Park.

We had a lovely stay and Susana was so attentive to our needs. The setting is gorgeous and the pool was super. The meals were delicious and servings generous. The breakfast was excellent.

The beautiful peaceful setting. The owners could not do enough to give us a good time. We highly recommend the Quinta for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Quinta de Barbeda is an experience not to be missed.

I cannot rate this stay highly enough. Susanna and Sophia made this stay memorable. We arrived in rain and it was cold. They welcomed us with a big smile. The room was warm and very modern. The dinner was 5 star in a warm comfortable atmosphere next to a log fire. We had golden bream which was delicious followed by chocolate mousse which was special. The wine was a very reasonably priced and Susanna's homemade brandy was amazing. The breakfast was one of the best ever and could not be faulted. The perfect hostess representing a long-standing family Quinta.

Excellent and personal

Everything was truly amazing. We were in a lot of places already and consider this one of the best. Susana was super nice and every request was fulfilled (e.g. some veggie food). The restaurant of the place is exclusive and very nice (an old lady, family, cooks).

We came after reading the good reviews, but were nit prepared for the warm welcome and the amazing views that waited for us. The whole place is amazing, with hand crafted furniture and home cooked food. We were very sorry to leave.

Super friendly staff, delicious quality breakfast, they serve homemade dinner of local food, tasty and at reasonable prices,. Strong, stable wifi.

such a beautiful place. we had the best time. the property was incredible and the staff were so nice. we had dinner at the restaurant every night and the food was really delicious - I would definitely recommend eating there.

Our stay was amazing.

The service was exception, nothing was too much trouble. The setting is stunning, a proper taste of paradise and the local food prepared in the restaurant is superb.

A spetacular family business managed and operated by women. The service is super professional and also warm and caring. The restaurant with the most typical menus of the region and local products is superb and a must.

A real slice of Portuguese rural paradise within easy reach of wild swims, hikes and pretty villages

A slice of true paradise. Nestled in the hills above Braga, Quinta de Barbedo is perfectly situated for both relaxing as well as exploring the local area. We loved the warmth and hospitality from Susana and her family, the amazing authentic and local food, affordable and delicious local wine, swimming pool and evening drinks on the terrace surrounded by the sounds of nature.

The only tiny tiny gripe would be the fact that the property is by a road that can be busy during the day, but this is a tiny point and you will feel part of nature when sitting by the pool or on the terrace.

Fabulous!

Everything! Beautiful, quiet location close to the National Park. Superb hospitality from the skilled and affable family members that run it. Fabulous breakfast and delicious traditional dinner choices. A five star resort at a fraction of the cost!

The windy road in and out made me car sick, but it was worth it!

wonderful stay in a beautiful environment with incredible hospitality.

The accommodations were tastefully renovated and the beds extremely comfortable. the grounds are beautiful with orange trees in abundance and very fragrant flowers. the breakfast was very nice. they have a restaurant for guests where we enjoyed a traditional dinner. best of all was Susana who made us feel welcome and who was very helpful and attentive.

Great place to unwind and reset, immerse into nature and explore the Peneda-Geres National Park

Very tranquil atmosphere and outstanding service from our host Susana, exceptional customer orientation. Beautiful garden and very good food cooked in traditional style. Good and plentiful breakfast.
