The location was quiet and there was enough space. Everything I needed was already there for me.
There wasn't any hot water on the first day of our stay. We weren't sure how to get hot water at first, but then we figured it out.

Host was amazing and helpful from start to finish and has created a home away from home.

Plenty of space for our family. Excellent location for the amenities and National Park. Good off-road parking.
Some (live) electric power sockets were hanging from the wall!

Lovely cottage, clean, warm and beside the village

The house is well located, few minutes walking distance from the lovely village and few minutes drive from the national park. It is spacious and quiet equipped for a family who cook her own dinners.
It was raining most of the day so didn't enjoy the yard, but it seems grand
We had some water issues which seems to occur quite often, not the host's fault but a message would be nice, I reckon the dryer needs some special instructions but couldn't get it to dry
The house is really fine but check out in 10. Am is a bit earlier than usual. Overall, it was good choice and with abit of an effort- quite value for money.

We loved that the homes were so close, you can walk to town. The house has a sweetness of farmhouse charm.

Convenience to Letterfrack , walking distance . About 10 miles to clifden . Lots of space with rooms upstairs and down . All necessary cooking utensils available. Dishwasher and washing machine. Barbecue and seating area outside . Few miles to some of the best beaches in the country . Would and will recommend to friends
I liked it all

The location was excellent.
The house was in poor shape. Remote control missing and it took 2 days to get a replacement, which didn't work. The toilet down stairs leaked, and when I told the host, she didn't take it very seriously and tried to make out that i was lying. The toilet wasn't secured to the ground properly and it had a toilet seat attached that wasn't fit for purpose. My four year old niece slipped in the leak from the toilet, at which point we decided to stop using it for fear that someone could really hurt themselves. Anytime a bathroom tap was turned on or a toilet was flushed a really loud noise was heard throughout the house. There were two electrical sockets hanging off the walls. The wifi didn't work and again when I brought this to the hosts attention the blame got flipped to me because I had restarted the modem, (due to the wifi not working, in the first place). There was no attempt to fix the wifi on the hosts behalf, very disappointing behaviour. We weren't able to get into see the farm, anytime we tried it was closed. We did go to the farm on one occasion when it was open and asked could we take the kids in for a look, but we were told no because there was a tour booked in. Overall we didn't feel very welcome here.

Very suitable for a family of 4. Located very near the village. Very clean.
The fridge or internet didn’t work throughout our stay. Despite repeated contact with the manager nothing was done, which was disappointing.

The location was good, ideal for children. Plenty of room for the children to play around.
The broken window should have been fixed before we arrived.

The cottage is very well situated next to the entrance of the National Park. It is lovely and very spacious.
We arrived early in the morning and Carmel was very accommodating, she even let us put our bags in her office the day after so we didn’t have to take them with us during the day.

Nice and spacious house, great location but needs some housekeeping:
- no hot water and heating at the same time
- noisy water pump
- several lights not working
