Staff are so warm and nice. Ice provided me with very useful introduction of the town and restaurants upon my check in, which makes my stay enjoyable. Good breakfast.

We loved the look and decor in this charming hotel
Nothing to dislike

The staff and location were outstanding! Lot's of great places to eat near by.
The first room reeked of mildew and there was a room deodorized to cover the smell. The second room was better. The bathrooms were all excellent recently remodeled!

Fredrick , Gabrielle and the entire staff were amazing. They recommended and helped me get dinner reservations every night. They even walked me to a place to get stamps on one occasion and a new charger cord on another occasion. No request was ever denied and even provided me with everything I needed to take lunch in the garden though the kitchen was not open and had bought lunch at the farmers market on Saturday.
Breakfasts were always hot and delicious with the baguettes still warm ( though I am an early riser ) The beds were comfortable and felt like I was coming home as I had stayed there 12 years earlier when Fredrick's father owned the hotel. I would return in a heartbeat and am trying to convince my wife that we not wait another 12 years
Thank you Fredrick Well done to you and Your staff
No elevator, but after all this is an authentic 18th century Chateau and the staff always helped me with my lugguage

It’s a lovely old(1734) converted country house, with spacious grounds, very close into the centre of the town. perfect for us - we needed parking and wanted to be able to walk to the various attractions. The staff were delightful.
Nothing - it exceeded expectations

The staff at reception were fantastic

Very pleasant staff. All were courteous and very helpful. The hotel is very charming with alot of history. One of the employees gave me a little tour before I left, providing the rich history of the hotel. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The bed was comfortable. The room was small, but cozy and big enough for one. if two people were in there it would have been way too crowded.
The toilet broke the first day but they had it repaired immediately and provided me with a complimentary drink and snack for my troubles. As mentioned before, the room was somewhat small.

The privacy and quiet, relaxing room was lovely. Even though the decor was old fashioned, it was all working well, the bed was comfy and the room was very clean. The landscaping of the property was so beautiful and in keeping with the facility's history.
Absolutely nothing. We thought it was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We checked in on Saturday morning, thinking our rooms would NOT be ready. It was a nice surprise to arrive early and find our rooms available and prepared for us. There was a terrific farmer's market taking place right across the street.

Hotel D'Argouges absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our room was fantastic (the bathroom was palatial by European standards!) and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. However, the best, best, best part was Frederic, the manager. He was the friendliest, best, and most helpful person that I've had the pleasure of encountering at a hotel (and I've stayed at a lot of hotels!). He called before we arrived to see if we needed anything and made sure there was a car to pick us up from the train station because he knew taxis in Bayeux are scarce. He made us a (optional) reservation at a restaurant due to the low number of openings in off season and it was DELICIOUS! He also helped us with our tour and everything else. When he found out we were headed to Rome, he sent us two restaurant recommendations that, of course, were amazing as well. Frederic is truly an amazing asset to this hotel and he made our experience six stars!

beautiful hotel which fit nicely into our D Day trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bayeux is a brilliant town with plenty of places to eat and very central to travel around Normandy.

The staff went way above and beyond for us. Incredibly kind and helpful with a stressful situation.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The house is beautiful and it was great to have secure parking.
Room needed refreshing and was on the small side. No bedside lights - you had to get up to turn off the overhead wall lights.

The hotel is in a picturesque setting with a friendly lobby and a beautiful garden. The owner Frederick is incredible. we also enjoyed meeting Gloria!

Everything was perfect. Frederick and the staff could not have been more attentive to any need you had. Hotel is historic but had modern amenities in the rooms. Perfect location, beautiful hotel and excellent stay. Would absolutely go back next time in Normandy. Bayeux is a great spot to launch all your tours of Normandy.
Absolutely nothing. All good.

Beautiful old building in a great location.
A fan would have been nice in the room as the room gets very stuffy when it is 30 plus degrees out.

Beautiful hotel friendly staff and fantastic location..
It would have been nice to have eat/drink facilities at the hotel especially as there was no kettles/cups in our room
