Nichts

Sehr freundlich, sauber, ruhig
Flasche Wasser kostenlos
Es fehlt eine Lounge, wo man sich abends zusammen hinsetzen kann

We stayed here as a one night stop over on a journey via the Calais tunnel to Dresden. Very friendly staff, comfortable room, plenty of parking on the street, supermarket around the corner, excellent breakfast and good value
It fitted our needs perfectly.

Clean and calm place, with quick access to tram, edeka, apoteke, and bakery.
There is no public transportation early morning and late evening.

What a pleasant surprise! Never stayed here before. Nice, quiet room which looked out to the back garden. Good breakfast. Parking available. Great rate compared to other hotels in Mülheim. I can recommend this hotel

Friendly staff. Arriving very late was no problem as we telephoned in advance and they were very helpful and informative. Very clean and comfortable room. Sadly we did not have time for breakfast as we had to travel further but the breakfast room looked very cozy and inviting and the food looked good.
We had everything we needed.

Clean and nice interior and complementary bottle of water.
Employees do not discuss guests and we were stopped for 5 minutes in the soft rain to explain we are actually paying for having a dog with us. Bathtub was shown on picture and not in the room. Due to energy prices, included spa was closed.

All exceeded my expectation. Nothing to complain about, from staff, housekeeping, cleanness, comfort and the rooms were all excellent. Happy and will definitely come back again.
Nothing.

The personel remembered your name and you could see their pride in the hotel and their work. Breakfast was excellent en in comparision cheap. There was a wide selection of meats/cheeses and fruits to choose from and ofcourse the bread was fresh and delicious. Everyday my room was cleaned and quickly sorted. I stayed to go to the Messe Essen everyday, so everything was there. 11/10, Will book again.
The stand by lamp of the TV's do make a fine nightlamp in the dark. Nothing a quick unplug can't fix, but it can be something to be aware of.

The staff was absolutely fabulous. Each day at breakfast they provided us with everything needed and kept the buffet nice and fresh. At one point they knew what we liked to drink and could bring it over without even really asking! They were interested in us and always ready to help. This really made our stay very pleasant. Rooms are quite big, loads of closet space, tidy and well kept bathrooms. It was the ideal place to visit the Messe in Essen as it is just a short drive. Supermarket is very nearby and parking was easy, either in the street or in front of the hotel.

+ big room
+ confortable bed
+ clean (except for a few spots on the carpet)
- bad smell in the bathroom (humidity)
- no air conditioning, poor air circulation, warm (it was a warm sunny day)
- carpet on the floor
- noisy (I had a room at the front on the main floor)
- expensive at 120 euros per night

Nice location, simple but clean. Good value for money and very nice staff
In the morning we had the cleaning lady knocking on the door at least 5 times within 1 hour. Very annoying.

Good location, clean and value for the money
There was no water heater in the room, an exception on Germany. The TV gives blue light when switched off, quite irritating in the night.

We were upgraded to a massive apartment and this really made our 4 night stay as we had so much room and a balcony! Beautiful old building and the outside areas and spa facilities were great! Really good location to walk into town
Only downside was that the spa facilities were closed at the weekend but this was due to covid. Breakfast could have had more choice

The hotel had overall good facilities.
I think the reception experience could be better. It wasn't given too much information about the installations or what times amenities were open from. The outside swimming pool couldn't be used until 12h in the afternoon and that was something that didn't really work for our expectations, if that is the main reason why you choose the hotel. It isn't mentioned in the website or at the arrival time in the reception. The website is also just provided in German language and I think should provide in English too.

Convenient location, managed to check in early due to an earlier arrival. The bed was confortable and clean.
The bathroom needs a refurbishment! Rust in the shower, cold water in the shower (the temperature knob was broken), the heater did not work so it was very cold. There were hair and dust from previous guests.. the bathroom did not match the standards of the rest of the room.
No one at check out to point out the issues.
