Ein schmuckes Hotel in sehr schöner und zentraler Lage

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich, die Lage und der Innenhof des Hotels sind sehr schön gelegen. Auch das Personal war meistens freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Betten sind sehr hart, was mir aber gut getan hat. Behandlungen hatten wir keine gebucht, da war unser Aufenthalt zu kurz.

Wir waren im "Franz Kafka", die Türe hinein ließ sich kaum öffnen und klemmt, das müsste dringend repariert werden. Leider konnte man die Fenster über der Eingangstüre nicht verdunkeln, so dass es morgens sehr hell schnell hell wird im Schlafraum. Die Steckdose am Fön im Bad funktioniert leider auch nicht.

ruhige Lage des Hotels

Das Inchecken sehr unpersönlich: Passnumer, Geburtsdatum, Telefonnummer und Zimmerschlüssel übergabe. Unser Zimmer hatte kein Tageslicht und lag unten im Inennhof des Hotels. Alle Geräusche von Gästen oder Personal beim Decken des Frühstücks waren total störend. Ich frage mich warum man da Gäste unterbringt. Leider war die Dame, die uns das Zimmer zugewiesen hatte während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht mehr ane wesend.

In vielen Ecken sieht man den Renovierungsbedarf. Swimmingpool sieht auf den Bildern viel größer aus - in der Realität ist eher ein erwachsener Planschbecken… Wellness Hotel?

It was a magical experience relaxing the location of the hotel was stunning .

There was a good selection of choices and the location was exceptional

There was nothing I didn’t like but it maybe a good idea if a price list was provided for drinks from the bar and a menu for the evening meal .

A really peaceful place to stay in a lovely building

We had a really quirky room with an elevator. This was excellent and really amused my husband! The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast but given that oranges are in such abundance we would like to have had fresh orange juice for breakfast.

Despite the above, we would still stay here again

The staff were lovely. The room fantastic, great location.

The spa could have done with a bit of sprucing up, it looked very tired and dated. The outside plunge pool was extremely dirty and I would not have risked going in it as it was frequented by lots of pigeons. I also was not sure about the fact there did not appear to be a menu for the restaurant and we were just told it was a set meal. My partner does not eat fish, so if fish was on the menu we would not have been able to eat here. I do not understand why no menu.

We loved staying at the Library on a romantic long weekend.

The uniqueness of the place. It is an actual cozy library. The rooms are nicely located around and above the reception. The staff were the best and they were very attentive and caring. We got to know the owner and his family. Maria who was running the show was amazing!

The wifi was too weak in our room so we had to use our own mobile wifi. The shower power was too weak and there was no shower gel or. body shampoo available.

Pleasant

Its a beautiful place, with spacious rooms, excellent location and very nice for couples.

Needs better management and happier staff. We asked for a bottle of wine as it was our anniversary, we didn't find any bottle upon our arrival in our room, they said that they would bring it later on (we cancel the order as it was for a surprise). We were 2 days there and the fireplace at the lobby of the hotel was never used (in a village during the winter). I think that a place like that could be much better and provide premium services.

overall it was a pleasant stay at the hotel.

nice breakfast with everything we needed. the room was spacious, the bed was enormous and comfortable. the staff was very friendly and helpful. rooms were warm and that was perfect.

rooms need renovation. the decoration (lighting, curtains) must be changed. the curtains don't close very good so light comes a little bit in the room in the morning. we stayed at Sapho room. outside of our window we were listening during all day the compressor of an air condition which was not our room's air condition.

Great relaxing stay for a couple!

We booked a massage and it was great. The room was comfortable. The breakfast good. The staff friendly. Hotel is based in Kalavasos, which is a beautiful village to walk through. Hotel has nice ambience, great library room.

Two minor issues: - One of our towels had a stain that looked a bit like blood, which was not pleasant to find out. - It was raining during our stay and since the door of the room is exposed to the weather (Edgar Allan Poe room), we could hear water dripping the entire night, which disrupted our sleep.
