Great location, value for money

The location is perfect - in the old town, two minutes walk from the old harbour, everything is easily accessible by foot. Staff friendly and exceptionally helpful.

It could do with updating but really can’t complain as the price fairly reflects the standard of the property.

Fantastic spot

Fabulous location over old harbor with sea view absolutely gorgeous

No complaints! Will definitely book again! Just check your email because they ask u to come to office to collect keys, otherwise u can't get in

Passable

The property is right in the center, only a minute from the old port. The housekeeper is a delightful woman and they were very expedite when there was a problem.

The room looked nothing like the pictures.

Booked at short notice due to ferry / flight disruption. Served a purpose for a short stay.

Location of Argo is good situated at the end of the old harbour with views across the sea. Value for money accommodation taking into account we were on a short stay whist waiting for international flight transfers. Accommodation scores highly on cleanliness

The limited amount of kitchen utensils could be improved

Cheap accommodation and you get what you pay for. It’s a decent room and quite spacious. Comfy beds, had a nice balcony.

Spacious and had a nice balcony, roof terrace was lovely also.

Too noisy for my liking, didn’t get any sleep during the week stay.

the location

the worst experience i had in a hotel. firstly you have to pick up the keys from another location and they dont even say that. also very noisy and you can literally listen every conversation and door opening and closing from other rooms. moreover i wanted 2 single beds that i noticed them a few weeks ago when ordering the room but they gave me 1 double bed. it also smells old. very small room. also the cleaning lady is very noisy asking too many questions. i asked her kindly to not clean the room and she still cleaned it without my consent. i told the guy in charge and he le rher know. after that day she was asking in an ironic way everyday if she can clean it like i asked for something weird. anyway worst experience ever def dont recommend

Rude staff

The location and the view were amazing.

The manager and their staff were really rude, they gave us wrong room, which we have paid for months ago and after one hour arguing they told us they will move us in two days into the right one. They didn't even offer compensation and were pretty arrogant trying to convise us that the rooms are identital - we have paid for 2 bedrooms and one living room with a sofa, received only two bedrooms with one little sofa in the second bedroom. We have face financial losses since I needed to find another spot until they gave us the right apartment with three different rooms for sleeping. Absolutely disrespectful and rude staff, ruined the first days of our vacation, this is not how one should make business in tourism, will never recommend.

for a low end budget accommodation it’s a good place to stay

great location close to the town. Staff helpful and friendly.

it was noisy at times with construction work opposite the property, also late at night/ early morning with people going past the property. the toilet was broken and leaked. the shower was very small and had to hold the shower.

A big mistake

Location. Despite having to drag heavy suitcases up 30 steps…

We couldn’t stay there, it smelled of cat urine, flies everywhere, very old broken furniture and fittings. Dreadful.

Very good but would prefer to stay somewhere more accessible

Not somewhere for those with less mobility as there are lots of steps and steep slopes

The staff at the apartment and agents could not have been more helpful

Disappointing

Very good location

No staff there to help you if needed. The air con didn’t work so we told to travel 10 mins to “pick up some batteries” , was only two bars of soap.

Comfortable stay at Argos

The location is really central, the balcony and the view were great.

The noise at night and the two different beds. It would be also good to add a blinder in the room because of the brightness in the morning.
