Clean room. Low price. Clean and modern bathroom. Cost of taxi valid for Jule 2023 - 2 000 tenge (4 euro) from hotel to airport (night time, call from reception). Day time - max 3-4 k tenge (8 euro).
Incorrect house number on booking.com. Correct one is 37, not 57. (Street name is correct).

Clean comfortable bed
Aircon needs to maintenance as it stayed on 23 degrees and failed to cool at lower temperature. This cause the room to have been very hot and I then asked to be moved to another room.

Clean and spacious interior. Everything to enjoy your stay.
Air conditioning was not working well, it was quite hot in the rooms.

Great location and accessibility. Nice and unique Architecture. Clean and spacious room. The AC in our room was not working. On the next day, the staff transferred me to another room. On site Pakistani restaurant was superb. We did not miss home food.
The hotel allowed us to store our bags in the Cloak room till evening.
No electric kettle was provided, though hot and cold water dispenser was there in the common area. The room had a typical smell and it was like somebody had smoked a cigarette in the bathroom.

Big room, clean bath room
Personal not friendly.
Breakfast is terrible. It is nothing, beter if they say NO BREAKFAST rather than offer such a terrible breakfast.
No daily cleaning as mentioned in booking.com

The breakfast was good (see the picture).
The reception was quite responsible, confirming my late arrival. And the location is quite central!
The milk was sour; the staff denied this. Everything else was up to the mark.

Cheap, warm and simple hotel in the quiet district of Astana.
One day half of the day there was no hot water. The other half of the day there was no cold water. Three days in a row WiFi wasn't working. And overall WiFi quality is very poor (but it seems to be common problem in Qazaqstan).
Cafe works only during breakfast and lunch hours, and it is rather cheap canteen than cafe.

That was, after all, and after considering the cultural diversity, a non-pleasant business trip accommodation experience.
I booked a non-refundable Suite for the dates between 11Th and 17th of October.
I contacted the property via booking message option on the app, 24 hours prior to the check in, and I did it twice in English and in Kazakh language, and informed them that my flight is late and that I will be checking in on early hrs of the 12th.
When I did not get an answer to my query, I called them directly the day of travel, twice, and talked to them in English, but unfortunately was not able to communicate with them because of a language barrier with the staff.
I arrived at the hotel around 3AM in the morning, and was able to communicate with the staff via google translate application, though they informed me that they cannot let me check in, and they don t have an available place.
I had to contact booking customer service so they can talk to them, they were very cooperative, and put me on hold so they can contact the hotel, then came back to me to inform me that I need a Russian speaker agent so they can deal with the hotel staff, and advised me to call during another working hours’ time.
While discussing my situation with booking s agent, the lady at the reception told me, via google translate, that they can offer me another standard room just for one-night, and the next day I move to what I already booked and secured by my credit card, I accepted as I didn t have much choices and was in need of sleep. I went with her to the room and when she opened, we both discovered that there were people in it already.
Again, the distress continued, and after another discussion with the hotel s employee and booking customer service, she offered me again the same standard room, after managing quickly to have it vacant, I wouldn’t comment about its situation, to make it short.
Finally, next day I was offered the Suite.

I have stayed only one night and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The disco sound from downstairs all night long is traumatising and the bed sheets just stinks with chlorine.

Really nothing
We were extremely dissatisfied with the service.
Firstly, for 5 days in the hotel room was not cleaned once, despite our requests. They did not clean, did not add new shampoos and other hygiene products, did not take out the trash. The reception responded as follows: "it means you didn't ask normally." For Lyon Hotel, room cleaning is not an obligation of the hotel, but a kind of service that we have to beg for from the staff.
Secondly, the night before check out we found a cockroach in the bathroom. We managed to take a video and show it at the reception, demanded a refund for the stay. At night they said this issue can not solve: either with the eviction, or with any feedback about why the hotel has cockroaches. We had to wait until morning. In the morning the chief administrator refused to talk to us, refused to refund the money. Argued the following: since this room lasted 5 days, everything was fine, and only on the last night there were problems, then no compensation and everything was fine.
I guess this is not the level of service that should be considered acceptable in any hotel.
A few more additions. The room had a very pungent smell of herbs or medicine mixed with the smell of rotten meat. The smell is disgusting. The windows can not be opened completely, only to air, so that the smell is impossible to get rid of. The air conditioner is in the room, but it doesn't work perfectly except for the beeping when you turn it on. So the room is stuffy, hot and has a nasty smell.
In the photo the interior looks fun-lovely. In fact, the furniture is already in bad condition, the fittings are torn off, everywhere chipped and frayed. And if this can be omitted for the relatively low cost of living, all the above......... definitely shows that we should choose another hotel to stay in Nur Sultan.

we intended to leave at 11.45. At 11:30 two cleaners entered the room and started talking to us in their language, which we don't speak. We left under pressure. Not a pleasant experience at all. I would not return.
