My luggage was misplaced at the airport and Ketut organised a local driver who was going from Amed to Denpasar to pick up my bag and bring it to the hotel on his return for 200K.
Room has both a floor fan and AC. The guesthouse has a restaurant and I had all my meals there, the nasi campur mix was quite good.
I and some other guests experienced an issue with the AC - scratchy throat etc. Maybe the vents needed cleaning. I also came down with the flu (maybe unrelated). The hotel provides Balinese massage, and the lady did not seem to be formally trained. She injured my back by pressing down on the vertebrae with the heel of her hand. That was aggravated with the fast boat to Gili Meno and carrying my luggage, meant I spent about 5 days confined to my room and bed with excruciating back spasms. I had to extended my trip by 6 days in order to recover for the travel back home.
There was an issue with water drainage in my bathroom, the owner did clear out the drain pipe a couple of times.
Had a bad headache every night I was there, on the last night there was someone yelling and knocking on the door to wake me on the one occasion I was able to fall asleep soundly, but owner claimed she didn't hear anything.

super nice host and very good value for money! very good breakfast and stunning view from the veranda of the bungalow ☺️

Excellent sea view. Delicious food for breakfast.
There was construction going on next to our house. The noise was from 8 am to 4 pm. Building 2 meters from the balcony. It was impossible to rest well.
Behind our house is the owner's house. Lots of noise from children in the morning and evening. We had numbers 5 and 6. Construction will go on for another month, no less. I recommend that you check your room when checking in.
There is no proper beach near the hotel. Access to water is poor and there are many boats and rubbish on the shore.

Friendly and helpful family. Clean room and bathroom. Great view. You can snorkel right at the beach next to the homestay.
I had a cockroach in my room and the centipedes get inside as well.

Warung Ary is located on a hill just outside of Jemuluk Bay - so nice and quiet even though it’s on the main road and you can see the ocean from the rooms/terraces! all the action is within an easy walk/scooter ride. Nengah, Ketut & their family run the Warung and are really lovely people - Nengah’s food is delicious and Ketut will organise anything to make your trip a good one. The bungalows are set in beautiful gardens with gorgeous smelling flowers everywhere and each bungalow has it’s own terrace with chairs, table and a sun lounger/bench. There are a few long stay visitors so you know they must be doing something right! The bungalows have a big comfy bed, wardrobe and bed side tables and were refreshed/cleaned every day. Nengah is a joy to be around and you get the sense you’re part of the family while you stay there.
The bathroom door in our bungalow was broken - what was once a window was broken out so there was no barrier between the bathroom and the main living space. The bathroom itself is a bit dated but very spacious - when it rained a lot the drains smelled a little.

Clear window with a nice view on ocean. Small cozy room and friendly staff. Be ready to climb up to your room, if it is on the top. Downstair's warung is cheap and good enough. Several options for breakfast, simple, but all was tasty. Didn't find a way to beach side down. But the best snorkling spot is about 15 minutes by foot.

we were warmly welcomed by the family and their 3 children, Leon our baby had a lot of fun playing with them :). Also the location is quite close to the main snorkeling spots ( just a few minutes away by scooter). the family was very open and helpful with any questions we had. the food was very good, especially the banana pancakes :)). we already miss Warung ary and hope to come back soon :))

We came for one night and ended up staying four. The owner is super nice lady, who's always trying to be helpful, her cooking is great, does laundry, always has a smile on her face and is always there for you.
The place has amazing views from top terrace, rooms are being clean daily, very hot shower if that's what you want, Jemeluk and Lipah beach are close (couple minutes scooter ride).
Wi-Fi wasnt great in our room, but hey, that goes for the whole Bali

Excellent location and amazing bespoke service. Everyone made me feel very welcome and catered to all my needs, such as, transport, activities and local recommendations.
I did not find anything I did not like about Warung Ary

The bed was comfortable and clean. The a/c cooled the room well if you need a bit of cooling off after a day diving or hiking in the hot sun. The shower had plenty of hot water and the breakfast was basic but tasty. There were plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Some were closed and others just getting started post pandemic.
As with most locals in Bali the family has turned to fishing to support themselves during hard times.
If you are on a budget and want to give back to the beautiful island of Bali stay here and experience real Balinese hospitality and friendship. Rocky the dog will greet you with a friendly wag of his tail and make you feel part of the family as soon as you arrive.

The staff was so wonderful. Sweet and accommodating. The location is great if you want to go snorkeling, there’s a staircase down to the best place.
The place is pretty worn down and the rooms was not clean. Both bath and bedroom really needs an update. Also the place has many bugs and they get into both bath and bed.

Each room is a separate little bungalow with a porch. Mine had a nice view of the garden overlooking the ocean, and you could sit on the porch and listen to the waves break far below. The bathroom was fairly well put together and had a stone tile floor and a real counter for your stuff, which many places don't. It's inexpensive and wasn't crowded. It's very close to walk to Galanga, a great garden restaurant nearby.
This place is farther down the road from Jemeluk viewpoint than was shown on Booking's map (it is actually across from Bali Dream House), so it's a longer walk from the main beach area and Amed Village. It's farther from the ocean (opposite side of the road, uphill) and right above the main road, which is loud during the day. The furnishings were cheap and shabby. There were no bedside tables or reading lamps, only one naked bulb overhead (and the light switch was across the room from the bed). There is no station to refill your water bottles. The breakfast options weren't great and the coffee was bad. Compared to equivalently priced places in more touristy areas, you get less for your money. There are better options for a similar price closer to the main Jemeluk area.

What a view when u book the room at the top of the homestay!
Very nice hosts, everything perfect

The room is quiet big and very nice spacious bed, all in natural wooden/bamboo style which is plus.
The location is between 2 famous beaches, however it will take time to reach both of them.
The room was not cleaned properly, only our bed. By the end of our stay floor was already quiet dirty.
Upon booking our room was mentioned with a sea view ( i read many reviews about great sea view from the room and was the main reason i chose this property), however the view was blocked by the building in front of us, in fact our "villa" had the worst view from the room. Eventhough we stayed 3 nights and i saw 1-2 villas empty and asked to replace us, the lady owner said it's all booked, however nobody came afterwards. Due to language barrier was useless to insist.
