Hotel muy bien posicionado cerca de la calle principal. El staff era extremadamente amable. El desayuno era bastante variado.

El calor no era regulable en las habitaciones y hacía demasiado calor.

Ideal para una semana de relax, con desayuno incluído y excelente ubicación

Valoro la ubicación, estuvimos a pie todos los días. Íbamos y veníamos del centro caminando, para merendar o cenar. Muy buena la atención de las recepcionistas. Las habitaciones muy limpias, pasan a hacer el higene cada día. El desayuno es completo, podría tener algunas cosas más, pero tiene budines caseros, panqueques y alfajores de maicena que se destacan. Para los salados hay tostadas, huevos revueltos jamón y queso. Única sugerencia: sumar medialunas.

Entiendo que es parte de los hospedajes en el sur, pero la calefacción en las habitaciones es muy fuerte. Afuera 1°C, adentro mucho calor, dormimos con todas las ventanas abiertas. Es importante vestirse de a capas, para estar en short y remera en la habitación y luego muy abrigados afuera.

O quarto é confortável, bem aquecido. As toalhas são ótimas, assim como a roupa de cama. O café da manhã é simples, mas tudo muito bem feito. Tem uma agencia de turismo dentro do hotel, o que facilitou a compra de um deslocamento de ônibus para El Chaltén (mesmo valor que no terminal) e esclarecer duvidas sobre alguns passeios. A localização é muito boa, há uma breve caminhada dos principais restaurantes, agências de turismo, supermercado e lavanderia.

Como ficamos no quarto mais afastado (87) o wifi era intermitente e o sinal fraco, quando estabilizava. Ficamos mais uma noite na volta de El Chaltén em um quarto mais do início (103) e não tivemos este problema.

Muy bien ubicado

Muy bien ubicado. Se llega al centro a pie en 5-10 minutos sin ningún problema. Personal muy amable que, ante un problema con la calefacción excesiva de la habitación, buscó cómo resolverlo. Desayuno bueno, atendido por muchachas muy amables, que hasta me prepararon un poquito de mate para que lo probara. Excelente relación calidad-precio.

La organización del baño no es la mejor, pues están separados el inodoro, el lavatorio y la ducha en tres lugares diferentes (todo dentro de la habitación, pero por aparte). La ducha no tiene lugar donde poner la ropa, lo que obliga a estar pasando a otra parte del baño. Eso no lo hace muy cómodo y menos si se va con personas que no sean de la familia. La puerta de la ducha, al ser de manera, se moja y estaba en mal estado. En una de las habitaciones, la ducha era extremadamnete pequeña. Los pasillos requieren mayor limpieza. Pese a lo anterior, el precio por noche fue muy cómodo (menos de US$20 por persona por noche) y estoy conciente que la relación calidad-precio era más que buena.

Buena ubicación y excelente atención

La ubicación, ya que está cerca del Centro y de la Terminal de la ciudad.

Al desayuno le agregaría alguna factura y alguna que otra fruta; además tendría que ser hasta las 10:00hs. Se podría mejorar la accesibilidad a los pisos superiores.

This is a hostel with private rooms not a hotel.

The main hallways and common areas are very dirty, the rooms are dirty and old, breakfast is very basic. Very over priced for quality. On the up side the location is perfect and the front desk staff were very kind and helpfu.

The price point is way too high for the quality and cleanliness.

The toilet paper in the private room was way too thin and kept tearing. It was also from a dispenser typically used in hostels. I think it’s worth having better toilet paper for the private rooms.

Fantastic stay and excellent location

The location is fantastic. It is no more than a 5min walk into the centre of town with all the shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is quite, safe and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and happy to help with any tours and advice. The room and bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful and hot water. I’m not really one for breakfast but it had everything essential and they made fresh scrambled eggs on request. The wifi is really good. I highly recommend and would stay again

Friendly and helpful staff.

Sound proofing is almost non existent, you can basically hear people talking from the corridor like they are in the room. Too hot! I can't believe I am writing this as a negative but our room had a heated flooring but so much heated I bet you could easily cook eggs there! Unfortunately I didn't have any eggs to cook and the result was a dry throat and itchy eyes.

These are not beds

The location was good, it was clean They had coffee (but so does every other hotel)

I like firm mattresses. Not sure what this bed was. You actually cannot call it a bed. It was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard. Minus the sleep as we didn’t sleep a wink. My tent pad is more comfortable than this non bed. Sheets felt like they were from the 1980s and super rough. Pillows were lumpy and old. We didn’t sleep and all and checked out after one night. Rooms were weird. With the sink and shower and toilet all in different doors providing no privacy or actual bathroom. Very odd. Rooms were old and outdated. Breakfast was lackluster.

Comfortable with Many Services

Somewhere in between a hotel and a hostel. Lots of services, including laundry (they do it for you), a tour company (Patagonia Backpackers), and packed lunch (for a cost). Nice building. Good sized bedrooms and comfortable bed. Very nice staff. Free luggage storage (not locked) and ample common space in the breakfast area for hanging out. Location was nice: on the Main Street of the city but a couple minutes’ walk from the main sites which let it be quieter. It’s also an easy walk to the bus station in El Calafate.

Breakfast was very carb-heavy and was mostly cold/continental.

The hotel had nice common areas, and the Internet was very fast which was useful for working remotely. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good too.

The room is very basic and chairs were very uncomfortable as I was working remotely and had to take meetings in the room. No fridge and the toilet kept making noises and sometimes the flush button wouldn't work. It was also very noisy outside in the morning as people would walk by the room on loud wooden flooring. Sheets had some minor stains.

the only good thing about this “hotel” is the location

Horrible attention to the guest. From the front desk ( except from Gabriel) to the manager. They charged me on the wrong currency, the front desk attendant, Augustina, didn’t even bother to look into my reservation to see that it was wrong. After long complaining for 2 days they recognized the problem and charged us on the right price. But it took almost 2 months to have the reimbursement . The rooms are horrible, dark and hot with no ventilation. The place where they put the shower is extremely small. Take a good consideration on staying in this place, el calafate has a lot of better options.

Great place to stay

Very friendly & helpful staff. Nicely styled hotel. Large room. Tiled floor has underfloor heating in sections (inc. bathroom). Large dining area for breakfast. Close to the town center. Good value for money.

The only thing that stopped me from giving a 10 rating is the lack of noise insulation. It is easy to hear other hotel guests maybe due to the tiled floors, 2-story wooden structure & wooden inner balcony around a courtyard.

property was fantastic, the location, staff and beds were great. the hotel was warm and the breakfast was really nice.

only complaint is that if you book the non refundable they will charge you in dollars before hand. we didn’t see this and could not pay in ARS. which meant it ended up being twice the price we expected.

Very good

The location is excellent, 5 minutes up the hill to the bus station and 5 minutes other way to into town. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms were cleaned every day. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, a good start to the day with good selection.

The beds were quite hard, and the room was super hot. I think it has underfloor heating which could have been turned down a bit as it was too much when we got back every day.

great everything but hardest bed I’ve ever slept on

great location and great staff. little bar on site and just generally everything you could want.

the beds. oh my goodness. it was like sleeping on a stack of cardboard. the mattress, if you can cal it that, was so hard with no give and was super uncomfortable. for the price and general appearance of the hotel I did not expect to have an issue with the bed.

the bed was hard as rock and there were no places to hang towels, the room was warm and I had to leave door and window open to cool of the room. The shower is made for a child and not an adult.

not silent, if you coincide with a noisy big group, it will be impossible to sleep beyond 6 am.
