Lovely location, and even though we never got the pleasure to meet Phil in person, when speaking over the phone he was very friendly and helpful, and made us feel comfortable during our stay.
Everything was perfect! :)
4.1
Quiet, comfortable and clean
4.1
Perfect location . Quiet room. Clean, huge, comfy bed. Everything you would need to hand including fresh milk in the communal fridge. Our bedroom door opened out onto a peaceful patio area where you could sit and admire the scenery. 15/20 min walk into Betwys-y-Coed village.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.

just excellent 👌

The area was beautiful
Room 2 was cold and damp with mould on the walls. No extraction fan in bathroom so it was damp. Shower temp was difficult to control. Didnt like not being greeted and communal milk idea. It was about a mile away from bars and restaurants. Only way to walk back was along a road with no street lights and drive had no lights on so it was pitch black. So travelling as a lone woman I wouldnt stay here again.

Very clean and warm
Room only not B and B stated no dogs allowed yet there was a dog in other room. Every movement heard from above room

What a beautiful area and such a comfortable stay at Maes Y Garth. The host couldn't do enough for us, was so accommodating, kept is up to date with the weather (it was snowing!) And offered external family a place to stay should we not be able to get home! Quiet with beautiful views. Thank you for a lovely stay .

Owner was amazing, gave us a room upgrade. We have stayed in Betws-y-coed at least 15 times and the view we had this time was by far the best. Beautiful location and we'll definitely be back.

The room was really beautiful and immaculately clean which led on to a veranda with stunning views. I slept like a log as bed was so comfy! Phil was an amazing host, very generous and helpful. The B & B is set in beautiful grounds, it's such lovely place to find a bit of peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend and very much hope to go back again.

Great communication with host before stay. Very friendly and informative.
I was staying with my sister, we asked for twin beds. Room had a super king bed and a single. Great. Except single bed was not made up so it was either share with my sister or route around for bed linen so we both had a bed to sleep in. Not ideal to have to make your own bed. First morning when we woke up, one of hosts knocking on our door at 8.30 am. We weren't dressed or anything and a note under door would have been better! Pedestrian route into town was shut but we weren't made aware so had to turn back and walk the long way round in the rain.

calm surrounding,
the foot bridge to betws-y-coed is closed since february, had to walk on the side of the street. did take a lot more time getting to the towncenter. Of course that is nothing the owner of the accomodation is responsible for. We did just expect a 10minute walk as said in the description but took us 25 minutes

Lovely room friendly host , very clean would stay again and recommend

Great place
Mini fridge due to weather would be great.
Longer walk to town due to bridge closure but not owners fault
Clean and helpful very nice
As above sorry

Veiws from balcony in room . Great hosts and food .
4.1
clean and tidy , parking available, lovely breakfast
not the property in any way
but my partner struggles with distance and the original advertisement from Booking.com suggested only a short walk into town as in 500m
the rope bridge has been closed for many months so the walk was more over a mile into town
again not the property fault

Lovely room, beautiful view, great breakfast.

This is a nicely equipped, clean B&B and the hosts were great. They dealt with the covid rules well and none of this impacted our holiday at all. Breakfast was excellent. As the house is away from the town, it is quiet, but is only a 10 minute leisurely walk, over a lovely river bridge to the town facilities. We were able to store our mountain bikes in the garage. Glad we were able to get in.
Nothing I can think of.

Room size and bathroom very small for price paid . Room prices up in hall do not match what we paid .
