Lovely olde world full of character and lovely food
Main overhead lights in bedroom not working on arrival but fixed the next day. Piece of chewing gum easily visible on the arm of the bedroom chair, no kettle in the room though mugs and tea/milk in there and drawer under basin had part emptied loo rolls left in and which had not been cleaned all were rectified the next day though the room was not cleaned on second day upto guests to request despite electrician being in there and loo rolls removed from drawer. There was a noticed that the kettle had to be left on the small bed side table which we believed was a scolding health issue think the room needs furniture moved to put the kettle near to the tea-tray so not walking around room with boiling water. Owner apologised for the lighting and gum issues and said a reduction on evening meal/drinks but this wasn’t followed though. This gesture along with ensuring room ok for 2nd night stay would have been good.

Separate bathroom/toilet. Think we got the last room available. Would have preferred on-suite Maybe next time. It didn't spoil our stay.
