I like the fact that there were elevators end escalators that’s a plus for me. The room was clean.
There wasn’t enough restaurants to choose from. I wanted to make reservations to dine with my family and most restaurants weren’t available and kids are not allowed. Also, there could be more entertainment.
The rooms had mosquitoes,
There could be better lighting in the room where the mirrors are.
Room service good wasn’t good

If you’re considering staying at the Royalton Negril, do yourself a favor and book a cell at Shawshank instead—it would be a more pleasant experience. Checking in took over an hour, and that was just the start of the horror show. The reception staff were not just disorganized; they were downright rude. I’ve met prison guards with more hospitality.
We were “upgraded” to a worse room with two small beds—probably as part of their twisted sense of humor. Trying to book a restaurant through the app was like a bad joke; it didn’t work, and when we approached the duty manager, they shrugged it off, saying they’re having issues. Reception wasn’t any help either—they practically laughed at the idea of making a reservation for us and sent us on a wild goose chase to the restaurant, where we were told there was no room. We could sit outside if we wanted, but they made it seem like they were granting us a rare privilege.
The entertainment? Strictly for kids. So, we fled to the hideaway section, only to find it dead after 10 p.m. The bar was closed, and the only one open was in the children’s area. Seriously, who thought that was a good idea?
Room service was a disaster, taking over an hour and a half, and they never once answered the phone despite calling over 10 times. The food was atrocious—dry croissants and toast so damp it seemed like they’d dragged it through a puddle. To top it all off, the air conditioning in the room was broken, and the patio door wouldn’t close. At least in Shawshank, the cells are secure.

Everything was great.
I was celebrating my honeymoon and my room was decorated on arrival. I was a really great gesture. I was also upgraded to the hideaway section which was beautiful. . my husband and i enjoyed every single moment there. Definitely coming back whenever we can.

It was mostly clean and well kept. The beach was delightful. The swim up room was an amazing must-have. Great shower pressure! Nice beds. Loungers aplenty.
There were issue with beach showers not working, but for the most part it was good. The pool looked gross by the end of each day so we avoided it and only stayed at the beach. Also don’t like the buoys that marked off the swimming areas as they did not allow for adult swimming- water up to my waist is not good swimming. The aggressive boat vendors were also not a favourite. The food at the restaurants and the selections were so-so.

My room was gorgeous. I had a view that was beyond great. The Butler service was over the top, the staff was very attentive, and the food and drinks were great.
I thought I booked an all adult resort, but this wasn't the case. This is very much a friendly family resort, but... that's not what I was looking for this time around. Also, I booked a king room but ended up with a room with two queen beds. Again, not what I was looking for this go round.

Nothing at all
The place is boring lacks entertainment. The escalador broke twice and the elevador the food choices were poor. The roof in the bar teared down while it was raining. As the rain fall the hotel leaks. The furniture in the lobby is old and out dated

the views, swim out pool.
PAID TOO MICH MONEY TO NOT HAVE TAXI TAKE ME TO THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL.
I’d like to start by saying that I enjoy staying at the Royalton. I’ve stayed in Antigua and twice in Cancun. I expected the best from the Negril Royalton as well. Upon me checking in to my room for MochaFest (which I had no clue the hotel hosted) I was met with a room that I did not believe fit what I requested upon reservation. I expressed that I had respiratory issues and would like to be close to things such as food, activities so walking could be to the minimum. I was told they would be unable to because they were fully booked that weekend. I made sure to uncle this detail in my confirmation with booking.com. I get to my room, it’s not only far. But smells of mildew. I can assure you by the end of my stay I was having to use my pump. I had roaches in my room. I will attach a photo below. The smoke alarm went off one day at 6 am & would sound off about every 30 minutes until 10 am. I called front desk for them to listen in & asked that they please either have it fixed or have me moved because I couldn’t not sleep. It was terribly loud. Maintenance came and could not do anything about it. He takes the smoke alarm out completely as a quick fix. So if there would be a fire, for sure I would have burned. After a night out with my friends I was unable to get into my room. I figured my key was messed up it happens, let me go fix it. I had to walk from my room to the front desk 5 TIMES. A long walk because I was so far from the front of the hotel. My key refused to work. Finally management is called. I sat in the dark for 15 minutes. They keep the lights off in the halls majority of the time, which is baffling. Anything can happen to the guest. A guy finally rises out the dark to fix my door. It was never my key, the batteries to the door sensor were dead. He changed them. Wow. My stay here was chaotic & I don’t wish my experience on anyone.

I traveled with my nan who is visually impaired, the lighting could be improved specially in the night time in the corridors walking towards the reception and in the buffet part of the main restaurant.
