Perfect budget hotel

You get a lot for the price. For a couple it was the best budget accomodation in the city of Almaty. We received a very large bedroom with a double bed, a couch, an extra bed, a table, and a private bathroom. The personnel are polite and helpful and the hotel has a lovely little inner garden giving you a very open motel-like feeling. The mall called Forum is a short 5 to 10 minute walk from the room and you can easily navigate around to other parts of downtown Almaty from here without needing a cab. So in short you get a big bedroom, a private bathroom, and a good location near the city centre for an exceptionally affordable price.

Thin walls meant we could hear whatever activites our neighbours were partaking in, from watching TV to a yelling contest on phone, to pleasure (I don't need to elaborate on that one). The shower didn't have any curtains either which lead to wearing socks on the bathroom floor being a no-go. Keep in mind, however, that it is in fact a budget hotel and thus we get what we pay for. I don't mean to sound caustic in any way, it is very much worth the price and I'd stay here again when I have the opportunity.

April Celebrants Escapade!

For a budget traveler like us, the price was amazing and the hostel is comfortable to stay with. Overall, we had a great experience, the staff was incredibly helpful despite of the language barrier. :) There were great restaurants as well within walking distance.

The room was pretty cramped, no kettle, a table at the door, no bedside table, bathroom has senn better days Noise from upstairs woke me every morning The hostel seems to cater for foreign labourers rather than tourists Very difficult to find Its tolerable for a night or two but not to be recommended

Nice hostel with great staff.

Staff is most kind and helpful. Also communication before and during stay was very good. Room was clean. And the hotel has really good location. I am very pleased with my stay.

Probably some small corrections in the room would be helpful: the walpaper should be changed, the power sockets might be closer to the bed and small lamp would be helpful. But thes are just small issues - I enjoyed my stay.

it didn’t cost much, but it also was not very comfortable

Location was perfect. The staff friendly, helpful.

.No toiletries, no soap or shampoo. So bring your own shower gel. Also there wasn't a bedspred on the bed, unsusual...

A definite Recommendation.

Really impressed with this establishment. Me & a friend booked the family room, comprising of one generous double bed, a single bed, and a sizable sofa, alongside a coat stand, wardrobe and ensuite, which was clean and fitted well. The room was balanced in terms of light, size and amenities and the staff were welcoming. Location is also excellent. For the price paid I am very happy with the stay, and I'd hope to return again one day. A definite recommendation.
