Accoglienza eccezionale

La camera spaziosa, pulita e confortevole (letto molto comodo). Il punto forte di questo B&B è sicuramente l’accoglienza della host ma soprattutto l’abbondante colazione che ci aspettava la mattina successiva al nostro arrivo.

Una cosa da rilevare dal nostro punto di vista è l’odore e sapore dell’acqua che è di origine termale ma che abbiamo trovato un po’ sgradevole.

Soggiorno perfetto

Struttura bellissima, molto curata nei dettagli e pulita. Ottima la zona, comoda per visitare Mantova. Alessandra è meravigliosa e attenta alle necessità degli ospiti. Colazione molto buona, con prodotti dolci e salalati. I dolci fatti in casa. Mi sono trovata davvero bene

Una sosta piacevole

Bellissima e ampia stanza, letto comodo. Accoglienza piacevole e rilassante. Colazione sfiziosa e abbondante. E ovviamente i gatti ❤️ fanno di questo B&B un posto ancora più accogliente e familiare. Consigliatissimo.

Kurztrip nach Mantua

Perfekt. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit allen Informationen und sogar deutschem Stadtplan. Herausragendes Frühstück. Sehr originelle und liebevolle Einrichtung der Zimmer.

Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding dik in orde

Beveiligd parkeren achter een hoog hek plus airconditioning op de kamer. Ook wel fijn dat er een tuin achter ligt waar je in kan zitten (wel opletten voor snoepgrage muggen). Uitstekend ontbijt.

In principe niets behalve dat wij het wat onhandig vonden dat de B&B-houder bij het ontbijt niet direct in de buurt was, waardoor we voor elke kop koffie naar haar op zoek moesten (en koffie hebben we wel nodig 's ochtends :)).

Aanrader! Goed slapen en voortreffelijk ontbijten in een mooie ambiance.

Supervriendelijke gastvrouw die met raad en daad voor je klaar stond. Haar ontbijt was onovertroffen! GEWELDIG! Schone en ruime kamers met prima comfort en goede badkamer.

we are very satisfied with the accommodation, authentic as if from a fairy tale, the room was spacious enough, literally every detail has been taken care of, the garden is excellent and the breakfast is perfect. the parking lot is private and included in the accommodation.

Lovely B&B

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was different every morning and always delicious, especially the homemade peach jam. Very helpful and knowledgeable host, who speaks multiple languages. Lovely stay. Grazie Mille.

Nice stay not far from town, but with a water issue

Room was spacious. Bathroom was nice, with walk-in shower. Everything was clean and shampoo and soap provided. Beautiful homemade breakfast, with nice variety of sweet and savory items. Good coffee. Alessandr is very welcoming and gave us great recommendations.

The water has a definite sulfur smell, that upset me when I washed up. I am sensitive to off-smells, and found the odor hard to take. When showering in the morning, it didn't seem quite so strong. Because this is an issue there, there should be free bottles of water for the guests. If the odor wasn't so apparent, I would have rated it much higher

A comfortable stay with very friendly hosts.

The hostess was very friendly. She helped us enormously with good advices about the city and the public transport. She prepared a delicious breakfast. The room was nice and comfortable. So a great stay for a visit to the beautiful city of Matua.

very nice hosts, a lovely garden, comfy bed and really very good home made breakfast with lots of well made parts. you want need lunch rooms are a good temperature and we didn’t even need the AC

it’s out of town so you need to drive to get into the beautiful centre of Mantova. but that’s it

Very good

It is a nice house, full of beautiful details with the best breakfasts ever. Rooms are nicely designed and clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The location is outside the city, but there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel with departures every hour. With own car everything is perfect.

Excellent, I very much enjoyed my stay at Zucchero sui Baffi.

The breakfast at Zucchero sui Baffi is exceptional. Every morning you wake up to a lovely array of homemade foods already on your table and you are welcome to eat as much or as little as you want. There are always an array of cakes on offer, with a lovely selection of fruit, yoghurt and savoury dishes. The rooms are also amazing; they're very spacious and exceptionally clean. The hostess is lovely and cannot do enough for you while you're staying with her. During my stay, she delivered a bottle of water to my room for me every evening when I returned from work and helped me to organise taxis as I am unable to speak Italian.

The only draw back of the property is the location. It is a little tricky to get to if you don't have a car. There is a regular bus service, but unfortunately my trip coincided with a national holiday so the buses weren't running. This is something to bare in mind before booking if you don't have a car. However, I must say that for the amount of money you save on the B&B in comparison to properties closer to the centre, it's well worth spending a bit of extra money getting taxis into the centre to stay at this property.

Mind the location, you'd need a car or taxi to reach it. It doesn't work well with the public transport or walking.

Lovely stay we will be back

On our second visit to the guest house everything was as perfect as before such a lovely place 5 mins from Mantova village. Quiet easy parking.

Definitely recommend this place for stay in Mantova/Mantua. Attitude of owners to visitors is absolute perfection. Personally for me made breakfast was the best that I had in Italy.
