Hiljainen. Hyvät sängyt. Aamiainen oli lihansyöjille runsas. Kasvissyöjien vaihtoehdot olivat vähäisemmät, mutta kaikki tarjottu oli tuoretta ja hyvälaatuista.
Huoneessa haisi tunkkaiselta.

Breakfast was filling with plenty of choices
The towels were threadbare and the inside of the kettle was disgusting

Sehr opulentes Frühstück in geschmackvollem Raum.

We stayed for a night on our way to West Cork. The property is located close to the City Centre with bus stops right at the gate.
The staff were very friendly, breakfast was great.
We booked a second night for our return journey.
The hotel is in the process of renovating the rooms the second room we stayed in had a fresh bathroom which enhanced the experience.
We would definitely stay here again.
The bathroom on the first night was in need of renovation.

The property is about 1/2 walk from vibrant Cork . Although there are busy roads on 2 sides of the property it wasn’t too noisy .
Unfortunately the staff we had contact with on arrival and on our first breakfast were not friendly and we didn’t feel very welcome . The staff were lovely on our second day . The garden although pretty had a broken water feature and needed some attention.

Fina rum! Sköna sängar. Välstädat. Trevlig personal både vid incheckning och damen som serverade frukost var mycket serviceminded.

The location was excellent. A bus stop right outside the hotel. The room was lovely and spacious.
The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn’t great.

Rooms were clean.
Food was delicious.
Friendly staff.
The shower in our room was little bit broken.
The door were knocked at night because of strong wind.

Ample car parking, good breakfast choices. Very handy for buses into Cork
Coffee was self service, therefore guests carrying very hot drinks in quite a tight dining area. Accident waiting to happen?

The Lodge ist directly next to a bigger street in Cork so it was easy to reach by car and we could park directly in front of the building. To reach the city center we decided to take the bus, which takes about 15 minutes and the bus stop is directly in front of the lodge. The breakfast was combination of buffet and ordered warm food (as we experienced to be common in Ireland), which was great.
The room was a little bit run down and as it was listed with four stars we were a bit dissapointed, since it was also one of the more expensive stays we had on our trip. The lodge is situated outside of Cork, the eating possibilities (without using the car) are very limited.
4.5
It had a Victorian tea room atmosphere. Place was very spacious. Bus stop is right outside and its only 5/10 minutes into city. I would go back again.
3.5
Room was very spacious with nice view of the private garden.
Breakfast was delicious and served really quickly.
Property is located on the same road as the train station but about a 15 minute walk away however it's on a regular bus route which is handy for access to the city centre also!
There was quite a lot of damp in the bathroom which was evident in the black marks on the ceiling over the shower cubicle.
The bathroom itself had recently been done up and there were interior renovations being carried out in the guest house while we were there so I presume any rooms that needed work doing was being carried out. It's just a pity they didn't put in some kind of ventilation unit in the bathroom to keep the damp at bay!

The location was good, the accommodation was comfortable, warm and quiet and there was plenty of parking. The breakfast was very good. Overall, very pleasant, very good value for money. I would recommend it.
Everything was very good. Only caveat, the water in the shower was very hot and hard to regulate.
3.5
Ample parking, pretty exterior. Location good for Cork City. Good budget value.
A bit dated, not the firmest of bathroom fittings — in need of tlc — with patches of mould and peeling ceiling paint. Views of flyover, looking a bit unkempt in places. Breakfast ok but non-fry-up choices rather limited and not publicised. Nevertheless, refurb works being undertaken when we were there, so future experiences may be different. Pretty Georgian house, but its character not shining through. Access and exit off main route into Cork not easy.

We travelled as a group of 5.
The staff members at Belvedere Lodge were extremely welcoming and accommodating and supported us throughout our stay. The breakfast was incredible and altogether really good value for money alongside the rooms. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
We found the transport links from the accommodation convenient. Right outside of Belvedere Lodge is the bus stop which made it easier to travel to and from the city centre.
Overall we would recommend Belvedere Lodge to others.

Nice staff, good breakfast.
The bathroom had black mold, the fan was Grey and fuzzy, shower was very slow to drain and thought it would overflow.
3.0
The location was close to Cork, everything was clean and cosy, coffee machine and tea in the room. The breakfast was great! And staff very helpful and kind.
We were "lucky" to have a very noisy neighbour nextdoor. The guy was speaking/swearing very loudly to the phone through the whole night (until 5 a.m.), probably drunk. Everytime we knocked on his door he instanly stopped, didn't show up and continue after 30 min. So we didn't sleep much. This is not problem of this accommodation, it just made our stay much more regrettable.

beautiful old building
distance from city centre
4.0
It was quiet and tucked outside of the city center. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was very private and the beds were cozy.
It was just a bit outdated. As well, we had huge suitcases and it was difficult getting up all the stairs.
5.0
The location is great.
1.5
Good breakfast
I don't understand how a four star can be - mold in the bathroom - broken tiles - incomplete furniture and left to itself - stains on the ceiling
