Booked this for rest & recreation with family including 3 kids (ages 0-6). Good spot from few shops, garage and restaurants from town (about 5-8 minutes drive). Great location from Emerald Park (about 7-8 minutes drive), Dublin Zoo (25-30mins drive).
Spacious family room. Good to have complimentary water hydration station on the floor. We only had lunch in the restaurant, not much options to choose from, but good value for money and huge portions.
They have a sensory place (which we didnt have time for), arcade station and Game room for PS5 or Xbox, which my boys loved. Although it's pricey for €20 for 45mins.
Swimming pool area and changing room was good, had to book this online and beforehand.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Free carparking helps too.
Not much to mention, there's ongoing works during our stay, but it wasn't a bother.
Perhaps the booking time for the kids in the pool could be extended a bit, which is at the moment from 1015am-630pm. As most would be away during the day, it would be great help to have the hours extended further.
Although these are not everyone's cup of tea, but the Game room rental price can be reviewed (€20), which is a bit much for a hotel resident.
Other than that, not much bad things to say.

Good pool, good location, clean
We were directly above the delivery area so it was very noisy at night

The food in the bar was amazing. The staff were friendly and allowed us to check in early. The pool was lovely and clean.
I had the worst sleep! That's why I gave a score of 7. Otherwise would be top marks. The room was too warm and the air con and fan were too noisy. We left the window open but was no use. A bin truck had the engine running at 5 in the morning. There was a noise off the fridge. It's such a pity because sleep is the most important part of a hotel and that was the worst part. The pillows were uncomfortable but mattress fab.

The breakfast was very nice and the bar food was good
Your vending machines are a disaster we put in money and got nothing out tried 2 and you don't give back the. Money we lost plus we had no electricity in our room for awhile only in the bathroom that nightie did get fixed

The room was decorated nice and was clean and comfy.
There were no toiletries in the bathroom, not even a shower cap, which was mean considering it’s not a budget hotel but a 4 star hotel.
Also when we paid for our breakfast at €15 each, the choices were poor.

Location and food/drink was very good. Pool was decent. All staff bar check-in reception member were excellent.
Reception member upon check in was abysmal. Chatted to other staff member nearly the whole time checking in. Didn’t mention check out time, any info on breakfast times/location nor any Pool info of any kind. The pool could be doing with some basic floats as it is a family hotel and not having normal key type locks on the lockers is just daft, padlocks of all things! Toilet door in room was buggered as it wouldn’t even close shut, never mind lock.

The staff was really friendly , manager was helpful
The hotel has serious maintenance problems, we needed to ask to be moved from 3 different rooms because the first room the balcony door was broken and the room was cold and the next two rooms where we were moved the heating was not working...

Rooms were spotless. Pool was nice. Reception area and hallways were clean and modern. Close to emerald Park. Previous times they had kids club which was great. Great p.star martini!
Sorry to give a bad review but I feel they need a kick up the butt to improve things. Same reviews by different folks and still no improvements on the simplest things.
The beds are awful. Thin, uncomfortable cheap mattress with springs poking up. No aircon just a big noisy, plug-in fan blowing warm air at us all night. Tepid water in the shower in the a.m. Filthy drinking glasses in the bar. Got it swapped twice and still cruddy. The food menu in bar sounded impressive on paper but Lunch itself was very basic and expensive for what we got. During all of our stays here, the food has always been mediocre. We ate elsewhere for dinner. No bottled water in rooms. Whats the purpose of the mini fridge if they cant supply a couple of bottles of water for the stuffy rooms. Snack machines didn't work, just swallowed our money. Men behind the bar were slow and rude, but the girls were lovely.

Nothing. We did not eat. We were going to get a cocktail at 8:30pm but so noisy with families.
Noise was awful. Kids banging on doors next to us. Paper thin walls. Very hot hotel.

Breakfast was not included and way overpriced at 15 PP on top of room rate of 200.
Poor service . It's like they want you to do all the work and serve yourself. Directed to vending machine in the bar just to get crisps/nuts.

The swimming pool was enjoyable but we had to ask reception for robes which they said they don't supply to then call again and be told they are sending up robes and slippers...when they arrived one had a tag on it saying maldon hotel in donegal and the other one was very tattered and had loose strings coming out of it everywhere, we then had to walk through the lobby to access the swimming facilities.
Service wasn't great at all, was hard to even get an answer at reception from staff facilities
