Pleasant staff, good price. Beautiful old building.
Bottom sheet hadn't been changed. Top sheet was clean but had cigarette burns in it. Bathroom not clean.

Lyhört och väldigt spartanskt.

They allowed me to check in early. The room was very spacious and bright. The location is unbeatable right in the centre a few mins walk from all attractions.
The owners and staff are very nice, helpful and accommodating.
A little shabby and isn't the cleanest place however the bedding was clean and the bathroom was also responsibly clean.

Location was very good.
It was not a problem for me, but this hostal has steps in many places & would be difficult for someone with mobility issues, if the elevator wasn't working
5.0
uttermost friendly and helpful staff
charming invorenment, you can tell it is a place with a past, nice antique furniture, interesting building
great location, very central
spacious rooms (in our case at least)
We were happy with everything and dont have any complains. We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay and the hostal exceeded our expectations.

Great location, friendly staff, and very interesting pictures and artefacts throughout the hotel
Room small and bedding and towels old with holes in. But all very clean.

There was an issue with the room on the first night. However the staff responded well and resolved our issue immediately. Overall a very happy stay, Antequera was a fantastic town enjoyed every minute exploring.

Location
Bed bugs, then offered a Nicotene soaked room not fit for guests. Very rude night staff. Ended up leaving at 2 a.m, had to visit clinic for treatment for bed bugs.

Perfect location on the main high street.
The room was big, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Good value for money and would definitely stay again.
Nothing

Reasonable size room for me and my 2 dogs at a very reasonable price.
Reception spoke some English, were very helpful and helped me carry my bags to the room
Mini fridge in room which was useful
Parking was not at the hotel but a couple of streets away which was difficult with luggage and dogs.
Description said toiletries provided, there was the tiniest little sachet of hand soap which was so small I thought it was a tooth pick!
Description said microwave provided but there was no microwave. I didn't need one but other guests might need one.

Friendly staff, great room, excellent location price and accomodation for my bike.
I couldnt tell if my air conditioner was not functioning or if I was too exhausted to figure out how to turn it on. Really minor and im sure it was user error. So ask how to turn the AC unit on.
3.0
Location and friendliness of reception staff. Comfortable bed and powerful shower.
Rooms and all areas extremely dated and in need of refurbishment

Excellent location, easy to find and accepts pet dogs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything you need in the room and bathroom including a fridge.
It was a bit noisy at night.

Very central. The inside looks a nice old "labyrinth" filled with any kind of old objects, a nice walk that could let you prefer to use the stairs instead of the elevator. Right price for the value.
My room was as old as all the building, and that's ok, but it wasn't exactly clean either: when I arrived there was a spot of pee on the toilet and the glass was dirty and with a hair inside.
I had to sleep with the earplugs because the people in the close rooms were doing a lot of noise and you can hear everything. So not exactly the right place if you need to rest and you don't have earplugs.

Location, plus architecturally and interior design very interesting. We tried to find out more about the hostel’s history but the staff were not able to inform us further. Friendly staff. We were able to store our bicycles without a problem.
To begin with we were allocated a dirty room and one that reeked of old cigarette smoke. On checking the bed the sheets had not been changed and were so old and thin that they were torn.
We were then allocated another room that appeared clean but again the sheets had tears, the towels holes and smelled of bleach. The ceiling light had no lampshade, the bedroom chair old and damaged, the bath and toilet both stained. We had booked twin beds as shown in the selection on Bookings but got nothing like it, not with the first room and not in the second room that had a double bed where we rolled to the centre due to its age and lack of support.
Note: all rooms have no smoking signs but all rooms have ashtrays and one can smell that people (still) smoke. There are two cigarette vending machines at reception.

Central, Basic, Comfortable, Hot Water - everything worked
Nothing really it all worked and provided what I needed: hot shower, private bathroom and a good nights rest
4.5
Location almost in the city centre, limited parking nearby, but 500 m away bigger parkings, also free of charge. Wooden furniture a bit older, but nicely maintained.

Location is great and people working there are kind. The room had the bathroom connected to it so there was privacy. They cleaned the room and bathroom after my first night there.
I expected hostal to be old like said in the comments, but I didn't expect the smell. The signs said no smoking allowed so I can only assume the smell was of the room. That (and thin walls that made it possible to hear other people) made my stay uncomfortable. Also, the bathroom was dirty when I came.

It was in the city center. Close to city parking amd was clean. Staff was very nice.

The property was in a good location in the centre of Town.
It was archaic. Most metallic things were rusty and the shower didn’t work. The plug in the cracked bidet didn’t fit. The toilet seat was loose. We couldn’t get the air con to work. The table top ‘fridge’ turned out to he a FREEZER which we discovered when we found the bottle of cava we had put in it had burst!
Downstairs the vending machines were rusty and there were unexplained puddles of fluid all over the place (also in the room).
We must also mention the very old lady that was apparently working on reception when we arrived. Her modesty needs to be better covered. She really didn’t seem with it at all. I had to point out my name to her in the reservations book and tell her my room number at which point she produced a key. Luckily we speak Spanish so we were able to communicate with her but sadly she was difficult to understand as she appeared not to have any teeth.
PS the room we were given looked nothing like the one in the picture. We put up with it as it was only one night and we couldn’t face trying to deal with the old lady again.

The location is good. The hostel staff are very friendly.
The room and especially the bathroom and air conditioner are terribly dirty. Rooms are non smoking but the smoking smell comes from somewhere.
