Hotel has changed for the worse

The location is good and the pool

Since changing company the neptuno is not the same the food was poor selection we had infestation of ant's and when i complained thay gave me a tin of ant killer and l know the hotel wasn't full thay we're in the bed and we got bits thay didn't seem bothered we have been going there for the last 15 years and sadly won't be going back 😢

Superb

The hotel was very clean. We stayed in an apartment, with halfboard. The food was excellent, plenty of choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location, 5 minute walk to the beach.

Great stay, easy to get to, lots to do nearby, bring mobile data.

Big comfortable beds, lots of bars and restaurants nearby Close to the beach, pool was never over crowded. Parking was reasonably priced as 10 euros a day, but plenty of free parking nearby. Kitchenette was well equipped, 4 plates, glasses, cups etc. 2 frying pans and 2 sauce pans. Fridge was nice and cold.

The WiFi. Signal was constantly dropping out for mine and my partners phone, as well as my laptop making keeping up with work difficult. The apartment has coffee making facilities but not tea. The shower head support in our room was broken, made it difficult to shower sometimes.

Apartment very clean and spacious. Two double beds, towels changed after one day. Lots of free parking close by to the apartment but I am sure these will disappear in the height of summer.

The hotel was quiet as they didnt have many guests. Due to the weather we decided to eat in the restaurant on our second night. Luckily I asked if I could see what food was on offer as the cost was 20 euros per person. The food was very bad, dried up pizza - only one with two sections having been taken. Pasta and some sort of burger with chips. Not worth the money. To add insult the injury when we asked if we had to book dinner at night we were told no but they would be serving dinner 30 minutes later as it was quiet.

Great service and staff, worth the money.

Breakfast was great enough chose, only let down was coffee from machine. Evening meal was good as well plenty salad at salad bar, meat that was on offer was cooked at the point of order. Normally 3 different meats and 2 fish. Only problem I had was only one veg and chips , but I suppose not being busy at the time of year it was fair enough. Plenty different fruit and ice cream and some cakes for pudding. All together it was fine, staff were great and hard working. Even gave my mum a bottle of drink free, which they brought to the room with glasses and chilled for her birthday. Which she was over joyed at the kindest to do it. Beds made each day and clean towels and apartment cleaned. Good free wifi . Have stayed here 3 or 4 times now in both apartments and just rooms. Both great.

No kettle in apartment and we asked as well for it, as it was missing when we arrived but we never got one.

If we had been informed that the hotel was basically shut, we would have cancelled and rebooked

Very poor facilities no drinks no food very disappointed. My wife stayed earlier in the year and was very impressed. If you cannot open properly in the autumn/winter THEN DONT !!!

big pool. lots of space in dining room & bar

standard room needed refurbishment to the bathroom. plug in sink didn’t work & was very very slow to drain. I did tell them. also the cleaner left our bedroom door wide open with all our things in the room…. probably for a few hours. nothing stolen but still totally unacceptable. Breakfast was ok but not great .

this was my second visit to this hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay a third time if the need arose.

the rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were always helpful and polite. The breakfast food in the buffet restaurant was everything you could wish for and very well run. the food was always fresh and tables cleared as soon as they became vacant. the pool area again very clean and staff polite and helpful.

about mid afternoon the pool bar and cafe bar stopped serving food at the same time..

Small things to improve in the apartment i.e. provide an electric kettle. Spacious salon, bedrooms and bathroom. Terrace good. Pool great. Entertainment very good particularly the Duo on Wednesday night 13th.

No hot water supply to shower. Beds were too hard and uncomfortable. Sofa and chair in salon also uncomfortable. These we could tolerate for 2 or 3 days, but not for a longer stay.

Very central, relaxing with good walks and bars

Very large apartment, comfortable with good sized balcony. The whole area was clean and communal areas i.e. reception, bars, restaurant and pool area were very good.

It was good to get away, but im not sure I'd return. I would try elsewhere in the locality.

The breakfast was ok, given the price we paid for our stay. The accommodation again was ok, quite spacious but dated.

I thought the drinks were expensive, had they been more reasonable we would have been more inclined to drink at the hotel.
