Hinna kvaliteedi suhe on paigas

Hotell on vana ja olin sellest teadlik. Toad on suured ja laed kõrged :) Toa konditsioneeriga oli natuke probleeme, sest see on jahutusüsteemide esimesest põlvkonnast, aga õnneks see lahenes ja saime tuppa normaalse temperatuuri lõpuks. Hommikusöök oli hea ja valik oli mitmekesine. Hinna ja kvaliteedi suhe on väga hästi paigas :)

Konditsioneer ei tööta hästi !

L'hotel si presenta bene fin da subito. La posizione è comoda perché è di fronte i lidi, un po' lontano dalla stazione a piedi perché sono 2km e con le valigie non è semplicissimo però ne è valsa la pena. Staff gentile, colazione abbondante sia dolce sia salata. Vista magnifica dal balcone. Pulizia giornaliera delle camere. Assolutamente consigliato!

Le uniche pecche sono state: l'attesa il primo giorno per ricevere la camera (check-in è tassativamente dopo le 15) e la mancanza di una convenzione con i lidi.

Mare e relax

Ottima posizione, a 10 minuti a piedi dal casino', fronte mare. Piccolo parcheggio interno. Piscina aperta fino a tarda sera con servizio bar a bordo piscina. Bellissima sala interna per la colazione con personale molto efficiente e cordiale (complimenti ai ragazzi sempre sorridenti!). La camera con vista mare e' un plus non da poco: si gode un bellissimo paesaggio sia di giorno che di sera.

Il servizio sdraio in piscina e' a pagamento... ..in un 4 stelle ritengo debba essere incluso tra i servizi offerti ( come di solito e').

Schöner Familienurlaub

Die Lage ist wirklich hervorragend. Zu Fuß in 10 Minuten in der City und in 10 Minuten am Strand. Wir hatten ein großes Familienzimmer mit einem riesigen Balkon. Das Badezimmer hatte 2 Waschbecken und eine Duschwanne. Für Familien also perfekt. Alles wurde täglich gereinigt. Nach Nachfrage wurde dann auch der Balkon gereinigt. Supergut hat uns auch das Frühstück gefallen. Aus unserer Sicht gab es alles was das Herz begehrt. Cappuccino, Espresso und heiße Schokolade konnte man sich am Tisch bestellen. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Betten waren leider sehr hart Das Klopapier wurde manchmal vergessen aufzufüllen

«an old aristocrat, but very well-groomed»

I didn't expect much from an old hotel at first, but in fact it's a lovely place. This hotel has its own charm and atmosphere, I really like such places. Yes, it's not new, but they take care of it carefully, everything is very clean, besides it's surrounded by a lovely garden. I will definitely come back to this place.

It can be a bit noisy, if you open the window at night, since the hotel facing the road. On the other hand hotel facing a beautiful marina..:-)

Parfait pour un week end en amoureux.

Le personnel, la vue, l’emplacement les prestations (piscine, ptit dej, parking gratuit)

Les équipements sont un peu vieux (mais reste dans le style de l’hôtel), pas de peignoir ni de dentifrice, le bruit du au simple vitrage, la lumière du détecteur de fumée (flash permanent la nuit environ toutes les 3 secs)

Una notte a 180 euro mi sembra abbastanza esagerato, per altro non è stato spiegato nulla riguardante la struttura o i servizi che offre al momento del check in. Abbiamo dovuto addirittura chiedere a che piano potevamo trovare la stanza😅

De locatie was top. Dicht bij het strand en makkelijk te lopen naar de binnen stad. Ook konden we de auto parkeren, er was genoeg plek.

We moesten nog eens extra betalen voor het zwembad en de bedjes. Het zwembad was ook niet schoon. Alles is verouderd en niet bijgehouden. Badkamer stonk naar riool. Ik zou hier niet nog eens voor die prijs terug gaan.

A meno di un chilometro dal centro, con possibilità di parcheggio anche se non prenotabile.

La mia camera era sul retro e in pessima posizione. È un vecchio hotel di prestigio che fatica a mantenere la struttura a 4 stelle.

Séjour parfait

L hôtel présente toutes les caractéristiques du charmes de l italie à la belle époque. Chambre confortable, très propre, le buffet petit déjeuner excellent et diversifié et surtout un grand bravo pour le personnel , chaleureux et très agréable.. tout particulièrement l équipe petit déjeuner...quel plaisir

Un hôtel qui mériterait de retrouver sa splendeur d’antan

l’accueil à la réception. Le veilleur de nuit était très professionnel.

L’établissement est hors d’âge, une capsule temporelle des années 50. chambre vétuste, mauvaise literie, rue très bruyante. hôtel mal entretenu dans son ensemble.

Superb service in beautiful historical hotel with great seawater swimming pool

Beautiful historical hotel (the first grand hotel built in San Remo in 1861) with a lot of character. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a cozy room with a nice balcony with table and chairs that we used a lot. Shower and towels are nice, the aircon is very efficient and silent. Sound proofing with the outside is very good. The cleaners are doing an incredible job in the rooms but also in the communal spaces. The breakfast buffet is very nice. Last not least: the seawater swimming pool is superb (no chemicals and no dead insects in the water). We have to pay extra for the sunbeds, and we did for a couple of days, which was actually very good and much cheaper than the ones on the beach. Location is very convenient (beach, town centre, cafés and restaurants and the 20-km coastal cycling path within walking distance). We had a fantastic stay!

Sound proofing with the neighbouring room was not as good as with the outside (there is a door between the rooms that doesn't seem very thick, which is a shame). Some bits are old and not very functional, for example the light switches, but that was not a major problem.

Excellent.

Property had a lot of history (Victorian construction, famous past guests such as Charles Dickens, Giarabaldi). Large room with balcony view of Mediteranean. Excellent English breakfast included. Nice salt water swimming pool. Courteous and attentive staff.

Limited parking, but staff was extremely helpful in finding free nearby parking. Due to age of property, air condittioning not optimal, but room had nice breeze coming off the sea.

Lovely getaway with a picturesque view

It was our second time spent in this very hotel. The bed is very comfortable, the view is astonishing, and the bathroom is spacious and clean. Welcoming staff and housekeepers. The location couldn't be better. We didn't need to use our car at all within Sanremo. I loved writing on the balcony. It gives utter inspiration immediately.

The twin room is although more spacious than the single, but one can hear literally everything from the other room, especially the parquet creaking. Fortunately, we only had one occasion, having to wake up at 6 am for a couple leaving next door.

Fading glory in a great location

A grand old hotel in a great location staff were polite and friendly everywhere was clean and the decor reflects the grandeur of the past

You could see that hotel needs to be refreshed but apart from that it was very nice. The room was big and clean. Breakfast was really good. the hotel is located in a very nice area, but you need 10-15 minutes walking to the city center and 30 minutes walking from the train station.

The only thing we didn’t like is that they charge 7€ per person per day if you want to use towels and chaise-longues next to the pool, considering that summer season is over, it’s a bit excessive and in general it should be included in the price of the room.

Generally a comfortable and pleasant stay. i would use the hotel again for business sor pleasure.

Clean, friendly and good location. breakfast was excellent and plentiful, good value. Sufficient parking behind the hotel for parking.

I requested a single double bed, but had two singles together that made in uncomfortable and mattresses were too hard for my liking. Flooring in bedrooms creaked a lot so I was kept awake by the people walking about late at night in the room above and to the side. The bathroom has a bath and hand fixture with extension hose for the shower head but without a will bracket which was not ideal to have a standing shower.

Exceptional

Exceptional hotel and service. The food and serving were very good, beyond my expectations. The architecture of the hotel is outstanding and the decor makes you feel like you're in a castle. A great place to return to.
