The property is STUNNING and the rooms were very comfortable and interesting.
It is quite remote and the food options were very limited and over-priced for lunches and dinners. Overall, very disappointed in the food for dinner. Breakfast was good.

Beautiful grounds and great pool
The restaurant was very disappointing

Excellent hospitality and the wine tasting with their products in their original cave was brilliant.

Great place to stay! The pool and pool facilities were amazing. The breakfast area is like no other for an time travel back through the centuries. A unique and wonderful place for wine tasting or special events.
The open ceiling bathroom was different for us.

Beautiful and delightfully informal. Delicious breakfast, great pool, superb staff.

The castle was amazing, so many original features and intricately decorated whilst still being clean and comfortable. Very nice toiletries were a lovely touch.
We moved into the junior suite which was incredible but it did not have air con or a shower (though the whirlpool bath was impressive!) - a little difficult in July heat but it would be outstanding in slightly more mild temperatures.

Our stay here was amazing! The staff was so kind and helpful, the castle itself was beautiful, the dinner restaurant was so yummy and convenient, and the breakfast was charming and adequate. We also partook of a wine tasting on site that was super special and tasty! The pool area is also lovely.
The location is pretty inconvenient, but the hotel was able to help us arrange a car to get to nearest train station (Pescara). There is little do to in the area around the castle, so plan on just chilling on site!

Amazing staff, gardens, breakfast, views, pretty much everything.
One quibble was the noisy tractors nearby starting very early in the morning.

Loved everything. So lucky to have been able to experience such a beautiful place, and would love to return some day. The young man in charge was so helpful and we had a wonderful meal in their dining room. Very memorable.

Loved the authenticity of the place. The restoration is impressive, the ambience is fabulous and the view of the vineyards from our room was beautiful. It is worth getting up just before Dawn to watch the sun rise, wander around through the olive trees and through the grape vines. Also make sure you arrive before sunset, as this is stunning here also. It is a romantic place.
As it was the end of the season the possibility of having dinner there, was not possible. Being already in the middle of October it was not viable to provide this service. There is a least a 15minute drive to a restaurant, google maps is quite unreliable when driving around searching for the restaurant at night.

Having been always fans of the Masciarelli wines, especially the Marina Cvetic wine line, Castello di Semivicoli it’s been a destination in our list. Nested in the beautiful hills in the Chieti province, this former baronial castle is lovely, a perfect location for a relaxing, enjoyable stay for wine lovers who also love nature and the comforts and elegance of a place that offers interesting accommodations, art and fantastic views.
The staff led by Luce are excellent. The breakfast generous and served in beautiful & quaint areas.
The wine tasting room is so inviting with the fantastic and antique wine barrels.
The Castello has a great mix of antiques and contemporary art, as are the tasteful suites: enjoyed the bathtub in ours!
Dinner was great and of course the wine pairing excellent.
Can’t wait to come back to this place we highly recommend to others: Abruzzo has so much to offer!
Thank you very much Luce, Alessandro, Stefano and all the staff.

The location is beautiful.
The bathrooms had an issue with the water sink, so it was impossible to use without getting water in our clothes.
The staff in the restaurant didn't know anything about the menu and were very inattentive

The venue is spectacular, the breakfast is great, the wine tasting experience was lovely!
the ceilings in the room were too low, the bathroom is part of the bedroom, the equipment in the gym did not fully function

Absolutely fabulous location with incredible views. The most comfortable mattress and pillows and sympathetic restoration of a beautiful building. Only half an hour from pescara airport.
Quiet area out of season but property impossible to fault.

Stunning property in the middle of the countryside. Very easy to get to. Our room was just perfect, attention to details and exceptionally clean. We booked a room with a Iacuzzi which was amazing!

Fantastic staff and very good food.

Located in the vineyards, this castle was completely renovated up to current standards. We stayed in a standard room, everything was very nice and clean. The bathroom was a bit small, some spots of mold on the wall (the room could get a bit damp after showering), but it was clean and had everything we needed. Great beds. Window had a view over the vineyard. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff, great wines. We had dinner at the restaurant, it was very good and reasonably priced. The pool was great, enough sunbeds and there was a pool bar (but we did not use it). Nice terrace where we drank a glass of wine. A lot of attention for COVID, there was disinfection available around every corner. Enough parking space on the castle domain. Would definetely come back!
I really can't think of anything.
