Hostess was so very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and leisurely and very much enjoyed.
Maybe when the small bath has been replaced with a shower it would be a great improvement. The hostess says that this is her plan and we look forward to returning.

The bed was really comfortable, reception was warm and friendly. It was a nice breakfast
We were told not to put any toilet paper down the electric toilet ,even used paper, but to put it a bin provided. Not able to plug in too many appliances or the electric would blow. No central heating was on and it was cold, elecric heaters were provided but it was still chilly

I lived there for several days and worked remotely. This is rather a private house with a part of it turned into a hotel, so it has all the vibe of a quiet house in a tiny French village. Very cozy living room with kitchenette, sofa, TV. Plenty of books! Strong and fast Wi-Fi. Generous usage of heaters allowed -- important, as it was autumn :D Breakfast was simple, but enough. The owner is a native English speaker (or so it seems). Wonderful cats and dogs live there, all very friendly and relaxed, which to me is always a strong signal that their owners are good people :)
The village is a hidden pearl. Located inside of a natural reserve, it has a lot of great forest trails for walking and hiking. For the morning there is a fantastic bakery, and for there evening there is a Michelin restaurant -- both just around the corner from this place.
Nothing, this stay was wonderful (and I'm rather picky)

the bathroom needs an upgrade

The owners are animal lovers and our dogs were made very welcome
The view from the building is great.
The picture on the booking site does not reflect the present day condition of the building. The ensuite and dining facilities left a lot to be desired. A full renovation AND deep clean is badly needed. The gardens are in a poor state also.

Breakfast was continental style. Location was nice but very quiet, as village was mostly shut.
Nothing in particular.

This was the best place that I have been. The accomodations were exceptional and the location is great for persons that want to discover the most icon/fashion places in Normandy such saint Michel, Caen, Honfleur and other places. The host was so nice to us and I felt at home. Also the breakfast had everything we wished for and we could notice that Susane buy from locals, the food was really fresh and taste. Thank you
I like everything

Made to feel so welcome from host Sue on arrival. 6 cats and two dogs made for a friendly and homely stay. ” Come and go as you please “ was Sue’s instruction to us. Use of garden, furniture and bbq. Breakfast satisfying and ample.
Mass weather toilet in en- suite room May not suit all but caused us no issues. Wonderful hosts who are working their way thru property to upgrade from previous owners.

Very homey taking us down memory lane reminding us of our grandmothers houses. Susan loves to stray around markets. That is clear.
Lots of plants and nice surroundings.
The kids loved the dog and cats.
Friendly owners and animals.

It is set in a very peaceful surrounding, very comfortable and the owners can’t do enough for you. The breakfast is fantastic, warm croissants, bread and cold meat etc… you don’t want to leave this place. Did I mention the great value for what you get??
Nothing, all good.
