Beautiful chateau in a lovely setting. The 6-course meal with matched wines was superb. The other evening meal we had in the restaurant was also excellent. The Hors D'Oeuvres and drinks served on the terrace were very good. The atmosphere on the terrace was soothing. The breads and desserts were exceptional. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The fruits, meats, and cheeses served at breakfast were very good. The breads and pastries were outstanding. However, we did not like the scrambled eggs, which were lukewarm at best and had the consistency of a creamy soup. They were more easily eaten with a spoon rather than a fork! A chateau of this class should have a station where omelets and other types of eggs are prepared to taste. The coffee maker in the serving room did not work the entire time we were there (4 nights). We were able to occasionally get a cappuccino or espresso from the kitchen, but the wait was often quite long due to the sparse staffing for breakfast.

Beautiful property great grounds. Good breakfast
No Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi lost on Friday and was reported to reception but still no Wi-Fi by time we left on Monday despite telling reception.

Nice environment, pool etc.
Other than Michelin dining no other option other than travelling into town (although in restaurant they can cater for kids). Rooms can be hot as understandably no AC.

The location is superb, the castle is very authentic with a splendid garden. The staff is very friendly . The restaurant and food is almost “Michelin-star” worthy.. breakfast is superb
Unless all efforts there is nog enough staff to give a 4 star quality. For that the Castle and rooms need
Renovation .. No airco we knew but Windows cannot be opened in a way that it can give confort.. bathroom must be renovated.. room was not cleaned one day but the staff came to rectify it.

As a hotel, it was very nice. The room was well-appointed, comfortable and clean; and the setting of the hotel in a private park and in a substantial building was all very agreeable, as was the reception.
Their restaurant was a catastrophe. At 2030 I sat for 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence. No drinks, no bread or menu. It was not crowded. When, at 9 pm, I ordered a main dish and a dessert, I told the person taking the order that I was at the end of a very long day and wanted to be served rapidly so I could get to bed asap. At 9:30 pm I had still not received the main course, so I cancelled the dessert and stated that if the main course did not appear within 10 minutes, I would leave. It arrived five minutes later. To be fair, prices were reasonable and the staff did not charge me for the glass of red wine that I had ordered, in atonement for the poor service.

Amazing place, loved the grounds and such a relaxing place. shame our stay for very short & sweet
Unfortunately the breakfast was over priced for the limited choice you had.
The room we stayed in was quite small and didn’t have a proper shower.

Outside lawns both front and back amazing. Dinner was the best I ever had. Reception (Mary) was supurb. Cleaning staff excellant and spotless. Check in and out easy.
Only thing was WIFI connection very poor. Only from the lobby and then hardly one line

Our Room was comfortable but up in the attic so one concern would have been exit in the event of a fire.
The pool was lovely and the fact the doors around it were open was even better as the air could get in.
Breakfast was excellent

The chateau looks nice from the outside but don't be fooled.
Goodness, this is not a 4 star hotel. It is faded and looks like it is trading on its old reputation. We were put into an attic room. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls as you climb the stairs. The attic room was very cramped and incredibly hot. The decor is very dated. As we entered the room the heat hit us. There is no air conditioning. We asked if there was a fan available and we were told immediately "No". There was no attempt to offer a fan. The guy showing us the room told us "Don't worry, it will get cool at night". He would not help us. After he had gone, we looked at each other and the 1990s decor, the cramped room and felt the heat. It felt so bad that we immediately tried to book somewhere else in Bordeaux. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available in Bordeaux, so we were stuck with this cramped, hot attic room. We immediately went to the Hypermarket and bought a fan (for 99 euros - which was the cheapest one available). Thank goodness we bought the fan because the heat in the room was unbearable in the night. We had the window open wide and the fan made it bearable. Unfortunately, with the window open we were disturbed at 4am with the sounds of the animals in the circus next door. We left as fast as possible in the morning and did not stay for breakfast. Having paid the hotel £173 for a terrible night we did not want to pay them anymore and just wanted to get away as fast as possible. We will never come back to this hotel. Do not accept an attic room; they are very hot and ours has been decorated in the 1990s by the look of it. They are cramped. The rest of the hotel looked like it is trading on its previous reputation. We strongly recommend that you stay somewhere else.

Very gentle host, Gregory, who is passionate about the hotel but also to explain and serve the diner in an excellent manner. The dinner is a must if you book this hotel.

Staying at the chateau was great! Dinner was excellent and the room was nice and the staff were welcoming. Also, breakfast was wonderful! Agnet did a fantastic job preparing it for us. Regretfully, our time constraints did not leave time for us to check out the pool/sauna. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would stay here again.

The room was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was standard. The pool was closed and this was disappointing. Overall we had a great experience and dinner on our second night was amazing.
Breakfast was standard for most hotels but I would have expected a much better offering at Chateau De Sully

The suite was lovely
The Michelin starred restaurant served a bottle of very nice wine warm. A small point perhaps but not what I would have expected.

The excellent service at breakfast and dinner and at reception. Delicious dinner. Lovely pool leading onto very nice walled garden. Big spa with 2 jaccuzzi's and a sauna. Lovely grounds with lots of trees. Good location.
Absence of shower curtain in the bathroom. Breakfast could be a bit more elaborate.

Very friendly staff. Amazing food!
Due to covid restrictions the gym was not open. Only the pool. Even though they are open everywhere else. Just didn't make sense.

Overpriced, there was broken glass in the bathroom. My partner cut his foot in the glass. The room had clearly not been cleaned. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel manager, he just gave me the typical French shrug and did absolutely nothing about it. This so called chateau is an overpriced dump and the hotel management are completely indifferent and do not care about the safety of their guests. To be avoided at all costs. This hotel needs to be closed for safety violations. I am certain that if we were not foreigners, the hotel would have done something about the situation.

There were a lot of dead flies in the swimmingpool
