A wonderful oasis in a beautiful city.

Fantastic location! Easy to walk everywhere in the city centre. A beautiful hotel, gorgeous room with a wonderful roof terrace. Breakfast was delicious and served in the private garden. Thank you Aurélie for being such a great host. We have recommended the hotel to our friends and family and hope to come back again for a longer stay soon :)

This is not an issue with the hotel - just a tip from us! If you arrive by car, parking is difficult for a stay overnight as the area around is mostly 4h maximum. We parked underground at Parking Veiux-Port Sud which was great value and secure. Only 10min flat walk to the hotel.

Mieux vaut ne pas proposer de hammam dans chaque chambre mais offrir le minimum requis pour le prix

Eden Ouest est une très belle maison, bien située. Les chambres sont spacieuses Le petit-déjeuner excellent

La malhonnêteté du propriétaire ! attention réservation d'une suite familiale pour 4 personnes, mail de réservation pour confirmer que le montant total est valable pour le nombre de personnes indiquées, dans notre cas 4, mais paiement de la somme sur place et non via booking, rajout d'un supplément de 50€ pour les deux enfants bouilloire avec de l'eau croupie (marron), vu les avis nous ne sommes pas les premiers à qui ça arrive pas de produits de soin comme indiqué par d'autres voyageurs pas de chauffage, il ne faisait pas froid donc pas grave, mais pas de possibilité d'allumer le sèche serviette dans la sdb

good location sizeable rooms but things to improve

location was good and central yet fairly quiet. the room was sizeable and nice staff.

The room was sizeable but a bit tired. can’t say it was as clean as you’d expect from a hotel room. very limited amount of shampoo and soap which was a surprise and a disappointment. there was mould in the shower cabin. there was a nespresso coffee machine which is nice but when you run it pieces of old coffee crust comes out !

Perfect quiet small hotel close to center of La Rochelle

Excellent location, parking about a five minute walk but very much worth staying right in town. Great breakfast, kind host, clean and fully equipped room with character.

Totally recommend located near fresh food market, about 6 mins from Place de Verdun bus depot.

Loved the historic and well preserved building, high ceilings, tall windows. Great balance of old features with new colourful design. Lovely friendly welcome on our arrival. All necessary details and comforts explained. Room was large, with all modern comforts, fridge, tea/coffee machine. Bathroom had fabulous wooden bath and hamman in shower area (which we didn't use as it was so hot outside). Breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, selection of bread, jams and pastries. Also egg, cheese and jambon all fresh and very well presented.

Exceptional

Full of character, large marble bathroom, spacious luxurious rooms. Enjoyed the private hamman. As did the children. Central location but quiet. Slept very well. Nice view of a courtyard garden from the balcony. The continental breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. Real care taken. There is crockery in the room should need a quiet night in. Good coffee machine too.

Cosy and charming house in the heart of La Rochelle

We were welcomed with warmth by the woman in charge. The room was ready, clean and with a lot of little touches. The bathroom was lovely and modern. Added plus: the healthy and diverse breakfast that we had in the garden.

Quirky old town house, in a good but quiet location.

Beautiful partly-restored quirky old town house, good location 10mins walk from harbour. Casper the host very helpful. Immaculately presented & stylish breakfast. Kettle & tea/coffee, and small fridge

Quite hard to find (plus there was a closed street on the day we were there). No lift, no a/c, limited toiletries, Parking only 20mins duration outside, long stay available 5mins away, behind church.

A very special place indeed! Highly recommended!

The hammam was perfect to recover after long days, I just loved it. The balcony is perfect to chill out as well, the breakfast in the garden is excellent and the design of the whole place is very nice.

The Wifi didn´t work, which was annoying since it was a work trip. I had two spooky visits of big myriapods, but that´s nature and it´s not really something I want to complain about. Just be aware.

Very unusual place, feels like an apartment. Great central terrace in the shade for breakfast or a drink. Modern bathroom. Great staff.

I would highly recommend this Accommodation

Fabulous location to all restaurants and shopping streets. We had booked the Blue room, beautiful decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and the linen Superb. The breakfast room was very comfortable well spaced apart tables, comfortable chairs, and classical music, playing softly in the background, my ideal "ambiance" The coffee was excellent.

The breakfast itself, could have contained something savoury for my taste I do not like a lot of bread or sweet things, (bread was delicious), this is not a complaint but maybe add something else to what is offered , my husband was very happy with his.
