Very helpful hosts always available next door; all facilities provided; great tv's and streaming; good price for the Cotswolds; short walk to great pub; short drive to Cotswolds towns.
Gaps in outside doors would have been draughty - but summer weather so ok; private patio garden was very scruffy and overgrown and could have been a lovely place to sit - but wasn't.

lovely, comfortable cottage, in a quiet location.
We found it a great place to stay, within easy reach of walking trails and the most beautiful of Cotswold villages.
The cottage has everything you will need for a comfortable stay, and the hosts could not have been more helpful and attentive, thank you for a wonderful stay and a positive entry in our travel Journal.
Please keep it just the way it is, along with great service

Location is excellent. You are in the centre of England so you can get to anywhere very easily and quickly (bonus points immediately if you live in the SE!) For us, the countryside around is magnificent and villages are just to the more intriguing side of Cotswold picturesque. Our hosts go out of their way to make the stay a pleasant one, but are never intrusive. You know they are there if you need them, but you rarely do, because they have thought of everything. I cannot give a better recommendation than to say that within an hour of reaching home, we were booking the next stay in August. It is truly worth 10 / 10.

Box of logs to warm us on a chill night. Helpful, kind and friendly host on-hand when needed. Charming property with several new additions since we last stayed. Welcoming and comfortable throughout.
There is nothing to say here. We love to stay here and have always enjoyed it immensely.

Everything! Location was ideal tucked away in lovely little village with pub 10 mins walk away. We were looking for a cozy cottage for the 2 of us for Christmas and Holly Cottage was perfect. Lovely log burner, excellent kitchen facilities, TV streaming etc. Jackie was amazing from arrival to departure.

the cottage was lovely - it exceeded our expectations! very cosy and clean, and has everything that you need
everything was lovely, but if I had to nit pick, a curtain over the window in the door would have been helpful

Quiet, friendly and excellent host
Phone reception was not great but more down to location than fault of accommodation

Amazing location, if you are lucky enough to stay at Holly Cottage take a look at the main house gardens and the views they are amazing. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The cottage is 400 years old and full of character. I would highly recommend the 'Blazing Saddles' that the hosts run from the adjoining property. I wish the hosts good luck for the future the property, it is a credit to them.
Only that it might be difficult to get another booking as it is going to be very popular.

Being able to book for just one night and still have all the comfort of the property. It is perfect for our requirements and it was a pleasure to see some new touches that had been added since our last visit. We love Holly Cottage and it is a home from home for us.

Everything. We return there because it is exactly what we are looking for and the hosts are exceptional. The proerty is cosy but spacious and everything is supplied to ensure our comfort.
Only if we were ablle to stay longer (our problem, due to work commitments).

Such a great location. Went to Wales on Sunday and marvelled at how you can get to anywhere so quickly and so scenically (we live in Kent so we are limited to London and the continent via the Channel). Love it here, over some time, and our hosts too.

Nice cozy cottage especially when the log burner is on.
We was well looked after by the owner of holly cottage very friendly and helpful. In a great location for exploring the cotswolds. Looking forward to returning next year.

Well equipped cosy little cottage in a lovely village. Hosts were friendly and their bike pub breakfast was great. Had a nice meal at the local pub which is in easy walking distance. If you’re looking for a few days getaway I’d recommend.
No issues or problems

We had the most amazing stay at Holly Cottage, super cosy, clean, comfortable and great location. Everything was just a half hour drive away, Bourton-on-the-Water / Stratford-upon-Avon etc. We took our dog along and he settled in perfectly. A lovely local pub is just a 10min walk through the village. No complaints at all we have had the most wonderful holiday and will definitely return! Jackie the host was so lovely and really helpful, thank you so much :D

Location perfect. Cottage is lovely, as is host.
Been before so would not be booking if something not liked.

Lovely little annex, perfect getaway, with stunning views and peaceful surroundings, great for stargazing in the private herb garden. There is a bikers pub attached, occasional visitor's on their super cool bikes but mainly very quiet. Local walks just beautiful in the surrounding village...somewhere we would love to live.

The host Jacqui was really welcoming and friendly and helpful.
The cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything you’d want for a few days away.
Great location for exploring the Cotswolds and close to Banbury and Stratford upon Avon.
No blinds on the velum windows made it too light early morning in the summer.

Location, facilities, hospitality, value for money.

Been here before so area and property are familiar. We book here regularly for location, communication with hosts, facilities and comfort. Truly a home from home.
Can't think of anything.

The cottage has everything you needed for two people. Was warm and cosy with a nice bathroom and log burner. Host, Jacquie was lovely and very accommodating. Very much off the beaten track but only 6 minutes to a lovely pub, The wykam Arms.
Front door didn’t fit too well and was drafty but very minor thing.
4.6
Location very convenient for us and also beautifully placed in area just before you get to postcard-pretty cotswolds and crowds, even now. Quiet, glorious and grounded in uncertain times. Been here before and grateful to see Holly Cottage again and to know that Jackie and Geoff are well.
Nothing to report. We know the property and know that we will be comfortable and happy there.
4.6
Very friendly and welcoming. The cottage is perfect for a couple and four legged friend. Well equipped with everything you need to relax and put your feet up. Wood burning stove and stable door to private herb garden make it very quaint.
Sloping roof upstairs a slight hazard if you are tall. An eye mask would have been helpful for light mornings as roof windows not covered yet.
