Very lovely pub with gorgeous rooms
Room was soooo hot

We always come back here either for rally events or Halfway family meet. Just a great location, ambiance and great rooms and food
Food service can sometimes be a little slow, but we’re never in a hurry
4.3
Food excellent, staff very helpful, bed extremely comfortable, room perfect, quiet location, everything perfect. One of the best paces I have ever stayed in.
Place to walk the dog other than by the bee hives!
4.3
Everything was exactly as it should be! The staff were lovely, and they were incredibly accommodating to my little dog!
I can’t think of anything

Love the modern and clean room including the bathroom. We had a very comfortable stay. Recommended if you're going shopping at Bicester Village which is about 8 min away by car.
The key was not labelled with the room number which made us very confused initially because we couldn't lock the door and thought we were given the wrong set of keys.
4.3
Everything. The staff make this place what it is
The room was a little too warm - I am always too warm though
4.3
Hotel is lovely, room very comfortable and dog friendly
Charged twice (once through booking.com and additionally at hotel on check out). I’d hope it would be sorted by now so I could leave a more overall positive review however promised a refund in 48 hours and still waiting…
Not able to give receipt or proof the refund went through either.

It was very quaint and the perfect night stay. The room was very comfortable, great shower and a lovely cooked breakfast and Bister Village 10 mins away
4.3
sehr schöne Zimmer, alles sehr sauber, fantastisches Essen, hundefreundlich, gemütliche Bar
4.3
Beautiful building and extremely comfortable beds. Food great too. Lovely village location.
Shower wasn’t great but good enough
4.3
Really lovely room, fab master bed, and great to see vegan and cruelty free toiletries.
Tap in bathroom was broken. And the kids bed was really tiny for two kids (we don't have big kids but this was still a very small bed).
Also, would be great to see more vegan options for breakfast (currently is the veggie breakfast minus the eggs but for the same price - if it comes with less, it should be less).
4.3
It was within easy distance from the m40.
Staff were friendly.
The room had everything I needed in it and a really comfortable bed.
Nothing

The room was not only clean and big but also decorated very comfortable way. There was a big window so our dog could see outside view. The bathroom was also very clean and nice. The foods were excellent! We very much enjoyed a dinner at the table in the pub with accompanying of our dog. The atmosphere of the pub was very cosy. The breakfast under the morning light in the restaurant was a good start of the day. The manager and stuffs were all very friendly and kind. We definitely recommend this property!!!
4.3
Location, staff
Used crisp packet left in room, electrics dodgy on all appliances in room, very overpriced for what you get regarding accommodation, food was nice but again bit pricey.
4.3
The property is very close to the Bicester village for some retail therapy
We booked a superior room, which was very small, stuffy and the room wasn’t particularly very clean
4.3
Large room, good space, excellent bed, solid construction (doors, etc)
More choice at breakfast (no cereal, porage, fruit, toast options)
4.3
Lovely clean hotel with a very comfy room and great shower. Food was fantastic and the staff were friendly.
The food was a lot of money. It was probably value for money at that price as it was superb, but don’t go there expecting a budget meal.
4.3
Room was very comfortable -exceptionally clean
Lovely evening meal served although some people were served Sunday dinner after the stated time on the menu - we did not choose to ask for this option due to the timings on the menu
Limited choice for breakfast - no fruit juice, cereals or toast were offered. Only hot breakfast dishes available on the menu but there was a good choice.
Very poor Wifi connection throughout the bedrooms, pub and restaurant.
4.3
Peaceful location in pleasant village close to A34. Dinner good but breakfast limited to continental style because of temporary loss of electricity.
Nothing

Food was good, no complaints
Everything was perfect
4.3
Beautiful area. Polite friendly staff.
Cleaning standards were disgusting, the shower tray filling with water because the filter had not been cleaned, payed £340 for two nights expecting a high standard of cleanliness so disapointed and upset by this.
4.3
very attractive pub hotel with well decorated rooms. good evening meal. Comfortable bed and large shower. Plenty of room in the bedroom and well insulated from noise
Friendly staff but as in so many UK properties, poor training and no apparent senior management on duty. Minor repairs required - to sink, lighting, door lock. The selection of breakfasts on offer was odd with no good proposal for a light meal. wine at the evening meal insufficiently chilled.

Breakfast
4.3
Location was nice . Didn't have breakfast as thought £15 very steep
Room just lacked a few extras:
Box tissues & extra water by bed, extra milk and teabags. No biscuits!
Curtain over patio door was a right state all ripped and falling off. Big stain on carpet by bed
No Womens disposal bags in toilet..Plug hole in shower was disgusting all blocked with hair had to keep stopping shower to let water drain otherwise would have overflowed shower pan.
Just felt for a Superior room it lacked somewhat.
When I checked out No one asked how my stay had been
4.3
The room was very comfortable and the hosts went to lengths to make us welcome. There was an ample supply of coffee, teas, water and even a local sweet treat. The bathroom was well equipped with towels and toiletries. Delicious food in the pub.
Nothing.
4.3
In my head, rooms associated with a pub usually implies something a bit down market or run down. In this case I couldn't be more wrong, lovely comfortable and well appointed rooms and excellent value. The food was excellent too. Great location just off the M40, ideal for breaking up a long journey.
Service in the restaurant / reception was a bit slow, it was very busy though.
4.3
Nice little country setting. Easy to find. Easy check in with no fuss. Room clean and tidy, lovely big shower available. We had 3 course dinner in the evening which was lovely.
Room became really hot and stuffy during the night which effected both myself and my wife’s sleep.
