Unbelievably friendly staff and lovely guesthouse 30 seconds from Bowness centre!!

The location is brilliant for exploring Bowness/Windermere. Check in was easy and the owner couldn`t do enough for us, even let us have milk and cereal for free (we left extra milk as repayment for this). The room was the small double so we expected it being cosy so no problems with the size.

Not a complaint but just for awareness, the small double is next to a very busy road into Bowness so if you`re a light sleeper and like the window open you had best take this into account and book the rooms at the other side of the guest house.

Nice place to stay in Bowness

Great location, friendly staff. Very comfortable to spend a night after a day of hiking. Fridge in the shared kitchen was very clean. Good locations by the shops and parking lot.

Good to have a shared kitchen. Bin was a bit smelly though. Some noise from the area although not dramatic

Stayed a dew times now, Jan and Niko could not be more helpful. Great location and very well equipped for a small guest house. Very affordable and always clean. Will be back.

Definitely Recommend

Lovely BnB in a perfect location. Lovely kind staff. All the amenities you could possibly need within the BnB. Snacks and lovely coffee and tea provided. Own kitchen which is fully stocked and very nice to cook what you like. Couldn't recommend enough!

Exceptional

The location is near the Beatrix Potter Attration, and about 5 mins walk to bus station, very convenient! Staff are exceptionally hospitable and helpful. The additional heater in the room works very well and makes the stay very comfort. They also get cereals and milk for a warm breakfast!

i couldn’t complain about anything, basic with kitchen usage, spotless cooked our own breakfast n wine chilled in fridge for the night

We stayed there for 2 nights and we had an amazing experience. The hospitality members were very friendly and welcoming. The service was great. The room was very clean and cute with all the necessary amenities. We had a good time.

Fantastic, comfortable stay in Bowness

Absolutely everything Can't fault Jan and Nico, lovely communication and warm welcome, very easy check in. The location is fantastic situated in the heart of Bowness (literally 2 minutes walk to the lake) the room was everything we needed, the place was clean and warm, had a lovely little shower and bathroom. Loads of nice touches too with specialist coffee, biscuits, usb charging port, mirror light and we had a very cute balcony which was fantastic to sit out on! Also they have a number of dog friendly rooms, I'd definitely stay again!

Great location and a really friendly homely atmosphere.

Parking during peak times is challenging. We purchased a 3 day pass from the adjacent carpark for 18 pounds and arrived at 4pm which made it much easier.

The location is good. Rooms have all the ammanaties, including good selection of teas and coffees.

The bathrooms are extremely small. The wash basin is outside the bathroom. Though very clean but there were some spiders on the wall. There is no parking available at the property and finding public parking at the Peak time is very challanging.

Exceptional

The hosts were very very pleasant. They also made recommendations on where we could visit and keep our bags on the last day after checkout if we wanted to. There's a kitchen with milk and butter, with cutlery and mugs to use. It felt like home and the location is great and very close to the boat cruise in Bowness. Totally recommend if you are on a budget and want a great experience. I stayed in the ensuite double bed. If I come back to Windermere, I am coming here again.
