Good location, friendly staff
No one is there to help when needed. I had to phone the central office both times when I needed information/help, because no staff is there after breakfast time, my impression. Breakfast is ok but one has to „book“ a time slot, so not very flexible.

check-in was until six o'clock, but no one was there. We waited for two hours, then we left. When we were already in another hotel, someone from the hotel called and asked where we were. It was already eight o'clock in the evening.

Pleasant contact with the staff, nice room with good space. Clean. Easy access from the highway.

I didn’t stay at this property as I arrived so late. I stayed at the Lion property which is apparently same ownership. my review is based for that property not this one.

Tidy and quiet.
Reception not open after 6pm. We warned that we would be later, the person in charge left the envelope without the room key. I had to wait. The next day we did not come for breakfast and returned at night, and the room turned out to be blocked, as if we had already left from there, although the room was paid for 3 days in advance. I had to wait 40 minutes in the middle of the night for them to open.

The room was clean. The room had 1 comfortable double bed and 1 single bed. Nice big screen television. 3 water bottle without any additional cost. The lady at the reception was good and very helpful in suggesting places to visit. Breakfast was OK.
There was no Hot water kettle and coffee option. You need to purchase it at the reception. The shower place had a leakage with water out on to the floor. Single bed without good Cushioning.

The lady at the front desk (Verena)was great. Took her time and answered questions. She was fun.
The rooms need to be a little bit cleaner. The bathroom floor had some hair when I first went in. On the wall next to the toilet were marks of pee. At least that's what it looked like.

Place is good. Nice neighbourhood.
There is somethung to be done with shower cubicle door - a little touch and water is pouring out. Also not good sound isolation - ouside is a tram line and there is no noise difference whether the window is open or closed.

We stayed Hotel Akazienhof since our friend got married in Duisburg. We spent one night with my partner in this place.
It was good, cosy place to spent time.
Too much noise from the hall of the hotel during our stay.
The isolation of the rooms are not very good however people were also running and speaking loudly in the hall and stairs.
