Cibo buono ma, un po’ adattato a turisti tedeschi e inglesi che sono la maggioranza, e quindi un po’ tutto su misura per loro .

Tolles Hotel, wir kommen bestimmt wieder 👍

Super Lage, tolles sehr sauberes Zimmer, sehr gutes Essen. Kellner Spyros sehr angenehm und engagiert bekommt von uns *****. Kleine Hunde sind erlaubt und es gibt genug Gassi Möglichkeiten, auch am einsamen Strand, ohne Leine! Unsere Luna hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt!

Enjoyable!

The food options were wide and varied. The pool had beanbags which was a nice touch. Lots of facilities to use!

Exceptional

We loved everything about this hotel. The gardens are beautiful & colourful and well kept. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a large selection of delicious food both for the evening meal and breakfast. We were very impressed by the whole experience and dining/organisation. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset and the sandy beach a few minutes walk from our spacious room overlooking the sea. We could not have asked for anything mote. We will be back for sure and recommend to others.

Highly recommend this hotel.

The buffet food was very good - plenty of choice, regularly refreshed, good quality. The location in a small village was excellent.

very enjoyable. excellent service.

my wife and I spent one night here before catching the ferry the road go to Kalymnos. the staff was very welcoming and helpful. they even called our unit to let us know them at the ferry was arriving so that we would not miss it. I would recommend staying here to anyone. the food was also terrific.

We loved the flowers all around the resort!! Also the swimming pools were amazing, and the beach as well! We had a lovely view on the ocean! Special thank you to the guys who are working at the pool bar!!! They were amazing! Had a great time laughing with them!

It was our last day of our honeymoon, sadly that they didn't put any effort to it, but ok. Also the lady at the reception didn't laugh once..

I would certainly return to Mastichari Bay Hotel. it’s a wonderful resort with beautiful surroundings and perfectly situ

Mastichari Bay Hotel is a lovely quiet family orientated resort. The staff were friendly and very helpful. George who works at the pool bar made us feel exceptionally welcome because we were the only English family there. The resort, the pool activities, kids club is all in German and although that didn’t ruin our holiday it does effect what you can understand! Most of the time we just sat by the pool or at a evening show completely lost as to what was being said or going on! We felt very isolated from everyone else there. We feel the staff should have spoken more English to make everyone feel included.

The evening entertainment program is adequate but needs more thought put into it to revamp it and make it more entertaining. There is one guy that is there every evening firstly doing kids club then often introducing a tombola, karaoke, a show etc but it’s very low key and I noticed families leaving early as the acts that are performing are not exciting enough to grab people’s attention to stay.

Fantastic

Very friendly staff. Fantastic pool and Beach area with plenty of Beach chairs. Nice Beach with clear water. The food was really good and a huge variety. The size of the apartment was great.

There was quite a lot of noice in the dining room. We were often spoken to in German and at the end of our stay we recieved a note in German only.

Everything was great. Especially the service at the reception and restaurant at a very high level. We were warmly welcomed and our requests for a room were met in 100%. Perfect location, clean and sandy beach.

Very very disappointing

The location was ideal for a night's stay whilst travelling from Kalymnos to Kos Airport and for access to the beach and restaurants in Mastihari itself. The room was very clean and very well maintained. The taxi calling service was very good.

This is a very old fashioned and out of date hotel. Check in was very very slow and seemed to be used to suggest how to pay for extras like drinks and WiFi and was very off putting and was not welcoming at all. It was understaffed. There were only 2 small pillows for 2 people - I would expect 2 more at the least. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. WiFI was not free in the rooms as there was a charge which was mentioned on check in. This is so out of date - even tiny hotels give it free. The dining room was very very crowded, noisy and didn't look like it was Covid compliant so we never went in for Dinner or Breakfast for which we had paid. There was a bad smell from the drains in the bathroom and outside the room. The room was next to the tennis court and the noise went on late into the evening and from first thing in the morning before breakfast was finished. Even with all windows shut. Check was moved from 12 noon to 11am due to " Covid" I would not stay here again nor recommend this hotel, especially for a holiday.

Very good value for money!

Amazing garden in the hotel area, feels like you are in the jungle all the time, bananas and oranges growing in the trees, flowers everywhere. Food was very tasty and big variety, each dinner something new. Friendly and very helpful staff. Lots to do for children.

The only thing that blankets could have been better, but that is a minor problem. Inside breakfast/dinner arrea could be a bit more fresh and modern, but the good food outweighted that.

A knowledge of German would be helpful to participate fully in this hotel's activities.

Charming "village-style" design of the accommodation and landscaping of location. Wide range of pools and beaches. Helpful lady receptionists.

Lack of greeting and supervision in the dining area, causing a chaotic atmosphere at busy times both morning and evening. Restaurant needs a maitre d' with personality to manage it. Serious discourtesy and unhelpfulness by one senior reception staff-member.

Very good

I loved my sea view room, modern and calm with no horrid old fashioned fittings and colours ( unlike the rest of Kos ;)

I don’t like having to pay extra for WiFi - did not use . Also had to pay for water at an over hyped price with the all inclusive meal…never encountered that before :(

Location, facilities - you have everything you need there even shops but I guess this kind of stay would need to be to your liking

The comfort- we were rather disappointed with the beds: we had 2 single beds connected, plus 1 small uncomfortable pillow per person. Ok I guess we’re not fussy but a bit surprised given the hotel advertises as 4 star hotel. No Wifi - free wifi in the noisy bar area hardly working + paid wifi in the rooms, that seemed as a bit of a joke to be honest, we’re in the 21st century in the end

Lovely stay

We loved everything. We were super happy with our stay and definitely going to return next season. The stuff was lovely and very helpful and i would love to thank everyone for amazing service (Mira, Tania, David, Romy.. and many others who were the part of our amazing stay) The hotel is very beautiful, looks like a small village and you don’t need to leave the property at all. Amazing garden, pool, beautiful view from every part of the hotel, entertainment, playground for kids, and my favorite is the white-sand beach. Just amazing!

Really nice hotel

The hotel is really nice. During our stay there were not many guests because of covid situation. But everything was available (pools, bars, restaurant). Food is delicious. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Beach is near. You can get into the water via pier or direct. The sunshades with beach chairs was free.

The bathroom of our room was quite small and it needs a little bit of refresh. But it was clean. If you have halfboard, you have to pay for drinks during the dinner.

Very good location next to port/village, tasty food, nice room, unique hotel layout and garden.

I decided to book this hotel as a stopover on our way to the island of Kalymnos, based on the previous reviews that I saw and the price to value ratio. I also chose it because it's right next to the village of Mastichari and the port to get to Kalymnos. Even though we only stayed for only one night, this hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. This is a very well maintained hotel complex that has a nice layout organized as bungalows within an impressive garden with many huge plants/massive flower beds that have been well taken care of during their life. It has a distinctive Mediterranean character that gets you in the mood to experience the region to its fullest (we had just arrived from the airport on the island from Athens and that got us in the mood). All the stuff were very courteous and professional, giving the sense that everything was running like clockwork around the hotel. The room was super clean and had a nice view of the garden outside. The interior was clearly recently renovated (including the entire bathroom) and had a nice feel to it. Also the mattresses were new and firm so we slept pleasantly. There was also individual air conditioning, but we didn't really need as the temperature outside was ideal. We had dinner and breakfast, both were very good with a wide selection of Greek and also international options and a made-to-order station for pasta/pancakes/eggs. The fruits and vegetables were very fresh and locally sourced and the cooks did their best to bring out the flavors from them. There was no mind-blowing dish that we tried there but overall everything we tried was tasty and well-seasoned, again much better than what I was expecting. The dining space was well-laid out given the restrictions for social distancing and there was a big outdoor porch area where you could enjoy the very nice sunset and morning vistas of the neighboring islands.

I couldn't see anything that striked me as a negative thing for this hotel, although we did only stay for one day. There is definitely nothing that's blatantly off with the facilities or services. For a short stay there's nothing that you will find wrong about this hotel.

Great stay

We stayed for a long weekend and with friends. The food was tasty and plentiful. The pool was great and the pizza at the restaurant there were fantastic. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Only a short walk into Mastichari for the fantastic beach. Overall a great stay
