Stunning views, gardens, free view tv in most rooms which was really needed for us as we stayed for 3 weeks whilst we completed on a property we was buying. loved the wood burning stoves, felt really cosy, relaxed lovely and warm. washing facilities really good with an old fashioned clothes aider above the fire.

Beautiful house! Handy little patio out back which I imagine is lovely in the summer. The house had everything we need, including a cot and high chair for my baby which is very handy not to have to travel with. A great location for exploring. Helen was really helpful too.
There isn’t a designated parking space, although I did always managed to get parked either outside the house or over the road. But with a car full of luggage a dog and 2 little ones it wasn’t ideal to have to cross a busy junction - this obviously isn’t any fault of the owners just a heads up for other traveler’s.

The property is fantastic, everything we need is in there. Very cozy, clean and comfortable. Soon as we got in we we got comfortable after long hours of driving. It’a very nice base in visiting towns, villages and cities nearby. We went to York and as far as Scarborough. We visited the White Scar Cave which is the longest showcave in Britain,Yorkshire Dales, Settle, Skipton, Blackpool. The views around the house are amazing.
We went during winter time, February, so we expected showers, rains, gales but we still enjoyed it. The views are spectacular even during adverse weather conditions.
