La alberca tiene servicio amplio, limpia y tranquila. Apto para familias, hay tiendas cercanas y aceptan tarjeta
Se fue la luz y tardaron en restablecer el servicio y el internet, no nos informaban

We stayed here last and love the location of the property and the staff. Perfect location in Zicatela .
The property has an amazing old Mexican feel but the property needs to keep this charm but there a lot of updating and painting and renovations that should be done
5.0
Perfect location if you like Zicatela. Great breakfast with a view. Perfect for home office.
4.0
The location, for a family, is perfect. View to the beach "Playa Marinero", a 2 minute walk to the Zicatela beach, excellent possibility to have breakfast at the restaurant or the Cafe "Las Nieves" next by and a lot of space on the balcony/ veranda to relax and enjoy your own meal if you like cooking on your own.
Shower, swimming pool and amenities are also just perfect and very convenient with the shades of the palm trees.
Temperatures in Puerto can get very hot so it would be very useful (and necessary) to have an Air Conditioning also in the kitchen. The bedroom has an airconditiong and ventilator which are very helpful.

Great area
Beds could be softer

Good location at top of Zicatela Beach. Clean, friendly staff and good restaurant. Nice restaurants across the street on the beach.
Bungalows and pool faced noisy street.
4.0
the location is wonderful - right next door is an organic food fair, the hotel is at the start of the main pedestrian walk (1/2 block away), there is a park and green space at the corner and across the street. The unit is spacious
Very little soundproofing because the units are built around a central core. It's pretty dark as the windows look into this core area. Best suites are on the top floor. The furnishings are clean but tired. Kitchen is adequate

Beautiful and quiet place on a great location, just in front of the beach. Rooms and big and have everything you need, the staff are really friendly and helpfull, with attention to detail and keeping the place clean and free of bugs. Will definetly come back.

A lovely little spot tucked in an ideal location.
We didn't want to be in the noise of town or the party hub of La Punta, so we opted for Bungalows Santa Cruz and it was a great decision.
1 minute walk to the beach, very close to great food options and loads of taxis close by to get you from area to area as Puerto Escondido is bigger than you probably think it is.
The staff were excellent and very cheeky and got a good laugh at our comically bad Spanish and were always full of smiles.
Sky TV with loads of channels, including some UK language options (plus others too) was a bonus we weren't expecting. We'd come from a week in Oaxaca first and really noticed the temperature difference and on a couple of evenings when we were prematurely tired, this was a great thing to have in the room.
The closest beaches, Zicatela and Marinera/Playa Principal are great for a walk, not so much for swimming but you have the amazing Carizalillo 10 minutes away in a cab as well as Angelito & Manzanillo a bit closer still which are in nice calm inlets, perfect for swimming.
The beds weren't the most comfortable but that's my only real issue with the place. We had a great time there.

it needs some upgrading. some nee pillows by the pool and better beds

It was a very quaint suite! Felt very safe and we enjoyed the pool area. The restaurant in the adjoining local had fantastic breakfasts!
This locale like all of Zicatela is very very noisy. At least you can’t hear the rave music but unfortunately, the street is busy and it’s continuous.

Some reviews I read about Bungalows Santa Cruz were mixed but I booked it anyway and am so happy I did. We loved this place! Full of Mexican charm, super friendly and helpful staff and comfortable room. We ate breakfast each morning in the restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean. 3 pools (including one for adults only), beautiful mature grounds and right across the street from Zicatela beach. We would stay here again.
Loved everything about this place!
2.5
Very professional and friendly staff. The pool is beautiful
The property is old and needs refurbishing. It’s not very clean. The windows don’t insulate the sounds and there was a lot of noise at night.

Big rooms, comfy bed, hot showers, several pools on site. I stayed in an older 1 bed. apartment with kitchenette - it was charmingly vintage with pottery dishes and old wooden furniture. The location is good and quiet- right across from the beach but easy to walk to cafes. Oh the restaurant inside this hotel is AMAZING! I was shocked how good it is... it's been open since the 80s and is still a local favourite.

the room was huge and the surroundings beautiful. close to the main beach and lots of restaurants. huge and comfy bed, very clean. helpful and friendly staff. main restaurant attached to the hotel has beautiful views and very tasty food! definitely would recommend this place, we loved our stay.
the pool area of the bungalows was a little more up kept than in the photos, I think most people use the pool over by the main hotel (just across the alley).
5.0
loved the location and the apartments were beautiful- spacious, clean, beautiful and have air con. can’t wait to come back next year
the water facility- we were left a huge blue bottle a third full and it didn’t smell great- hot and plasticy- we were unsure as to whether this was fresh for us or the previous guests left it

everything! the pools, food, room, and especially a HUGE shout out to the staff at this place. wonderful people. AND THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE!
Zicatela traffic right in front of our veranda was so noisy and nearly constant. AC in bedroom helped mask the noise, but sitting outside our room was awful
3.0
Great location, close to the beach
We stayed for only two nights and booked a room with one king bed. The property couldn’t provide this room and we had to stay in double bed room and then move the next day. It caused inconvenience in our short stay
