Styling throughout the home is clean, modern and minimal. The interior is equipped with everything you would expect from a 5-star family home. Here, an eclectic mix of comfortable furnishings invites you to a cozy evening of family games, or a nice nap after a great day exploring Central Kentucky, enjoying a day at the Keeneland racetrack, working a day at the horse sales at Fasig-Tipton or Keeneland, or visiting our many world renowned bourbon distilleries and local wineries. We provide two flat screen TVs, WiFi, high ceilings with exposed wood beams, central A/C and heating, Tempur-Sealy King bed, queen sofa bed, privately fenced/gated yard, Kuerig & Nespresso coffee machines, full size washer and dryer, all the essential dining ware, linens, towels, etc., gourmet kitchen with marble countertops, stainless appliances and bar with seating, full bathroom with tiled shower. I love visiting the Lexington area and the Carriage House was just what I was looking for, for a weekend getaway. It was beautiful and exactly as protrayed on VRBO.

It was such a wonderful stay. The carriage house is beautiful and just as nice as pictured. It’s a great location to get to the Kentucky Horse Park. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed and linens are super comfy. There are toiletries in the bathroom in case you might have forgotten anything. Kitty the host is so wonderful. She welcomed me and made me feel like family. She is available for any questions you might have and checks in to make sure you have everything you need. I would and am staying there again. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Carriage House for 28 days during months of December and January. I highly recommend this place.
Host, Meredith and her mother, Kitty could not do enough to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They responded to questions I had in a timely manner. They were attentive and readily available if needed but not intrusive. I appreciated the privacy and respect I received. The place is beautiful! It sits on a beautiful piece of property at the start of horse country yet close to stores, freeway, downtown Lexington and the Bluegrass Airport. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is generously appointed. The shower is great. The bed is super comfortable-the best! I plan to return for a future stay because there is no need to shop around. I found a gem of a place to stay.

We stayed here for a few nights while visiting our daughter. Host was more than accommodating and helpful with any question. The carriage house is beautifully decorated and well equipped for all your needs. Outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee or tea. Bed was super comfortable. If you want to have a lovely place to stay in Lexington this is it! The location is convenient and surrounded by the beauty that only the Kentucky bluegrass area can offer. The carriage house was beautifully thought out and decorated with unique touches such as a mural painting of a horse farm/barn. The bedding was extremely comfortable. Loved the back door view of a beautiful backyard with horse stables beyond the fence. The homeowner, Meredith, was excellent to work with and she was always reaching out to make sure our needs were met. If you love Lexington and the beautiful surrounding areas of bluegrass country, you will certainly not want to miss the opportunity to stay in this carriage house Vrbo!

We loved staying in this carriage house and would definitely recommend this space to anyone visiting Lexington. The house was just as described in the listing, very well decorated and extremely comfortable bed. The house is well stocked with a lot of little touches to make your stay comfortable. The host has excellent communication and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We hope the next time we are in Lexington, this house is available.

This was probably the most comfortable (especially the bed) and clean VRBO we have ever stayed at. The area is also very nice and is in close driving distance to the downtown area. The host was super friendly as well. We will definitely try and book again if in the area!!

My husband and I are new to Kentucky and have been exploring our new home state and all it has to offer. Meredith was an awesome host and the property and Carriage House were top notch. Close to downtown Lexington, we enjoyed the excitement of a UK show of support by fans going to a game at Rupp. We toured Keeneland and watched the horse sale that is world famous. Restaurants were phenomenal. We were close to everything. We drove through Versailles which is 30 min away and the beautiful stables did not disappoint. Thank you for a great stay and we will be back in the spring for the races.

Reading Geraldine Brooks’ “Horse” provided the inspiration for this trip to The Bluegrass Country of Kentucky. Lovely property in a great location. Comfortable, clean and well-supplied. Only thing missing was a dishwasher.

Quaint, charming, cozy! We came to Lexington to visit our UK student, attend a football game, and Keeneland. The home was what we hoped it would be, and the owner was quick to respond to questions. We’re coming back, and I do recommend.

We chose this as an alternative to a hotel room and would definitely stay here again. The owner has made great use of space converting their “carriage house” Host was extremely nice and helpful. Available when we needed her and quick to respond. Also was not intrusive at all. We wouldn’t want to share this space with 4, and wish we had brought our own pillows, but not a big deal at all.

Great stay!
The Carriage House was a great home-away-from-home while visiting our daughter and son-in-law: we were close to everything but felt as though we were in the country, which was wonderful! Meredith very thoughtfully provided a white noise machine (the local traffic can get a bit loud at night), but I had no problem using my noise-cancelling AirPods--either way, you're covered. The interiors are just as beautiful as the pictures, and we really enjoyed sitting outside and having lunch on the little patio area one afternoon. Meredith has also curated an incredibly thorough list of places to eat, drink, and visit, and the ones we visited during our stay did not disappoint. We'll definitely be back!

Cozy and comfy
We love the Lexington Kentucky area. We travel here often. This is our first time staying at this location. It was so nice. It enhanced our Lexington stay so much. We will definitely stay there again the next time we have another bourbon trail adventure weekend. Very well appointed. All the warm and cozy feels and beautifully decorated. The bonus is getting to sit out back on the patio and watch the horses run through the field.

Horse and Bourbon Trail
My husband and I totally fell in love with this beautiful home. We saw mama and baby horse out back every day. Too cute. Very conveniently located to distilleries, horse farms, Keeneland and restaurants. We will return.

Weekend Getaway
My wife, daughters and I spent a weekend trip in Lexington last summer. I decided that there was much more to see so we came back. Our trip was even better this time except for it was just my wife and I. We were not disappointed as the carriage house was everything we expected and more. What a beautiful property! Wonderful location, amazing host, beautiful property
Meredith is an amazing host. She was so accommodating to my many requests for our getaway, I just can’t say enough good things based on her alone. Throw in a wonderful property (tastefully decorated, clean, inviting( with a great location (minutes to downtown, easy drive to Red River Gorge, close to interstate) and you’ve got a fantastic gewatway destination. As a fellow short-term rental owner, I can easily give this property a glowing review.

The Warsaw Carriage house property is beautifully done and well-appointed in all rooms. The art and decor are a lovely palette, beautiful touches throughout, and everything very functional. A gem! Hope to stay again. As well, it is an easy 10 minutes to the horse park! Thank you for a great stay!

wonderful week stay in carriage house outskirts of Lexingtion
My husband and I enjoyed our lodging in this lovely carriage house even though we did not spend much time there other than the overnights. The location was perfect for us, traveling to and spending most of the day at the Kentucky Horse Park, then finding a restaurant for dinner each night. Great restaurants were everywhere--well within a 20 minute drive. Since we were pulling a horse trailer (which we left parked at KHP) we had a large pickup truck as our daily vehicle and the backing out of the driveway into one way two lane traffic was a little tricky depending on time of day. But it was a lovely stay and we would definitely consider overnighting here again!
