The hotel is beautiful and boutique. Well furnished and very spacious. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is well laid out with a very large shower.
Rooftop bar has beautiful sunset views of the cathedral with some really nice food and classic Margheritas.
They were able to cater for vegans too.
The highlight of this place is the personal service offered by Joshua the Concierge. His local knowledge steered us to some fantastic breakfast spots, restaurants, places to see and some great bars. Thank you to all the staff and Joshua for making this a very enjoyable and memorable stay. You are an assett to the hotel .
Be warned the town and its neighbours love fireworks during festival times. They are loud but if expected they don’t come as a shock. Don’t be surprised if you wake to the sounds of the fireworks before church begins. This just adds to the nuance of the location and not something we were particularly bothered by.

The breakfast was great, but you could use more morning staff. It took a considerable amount of time just for a coffee refill. The waiter was running back and forth working on multiple tables at a time. Aside from these types of delays i was pleased with the food and courtesy of the staff.
The accommodations were less than desirable. Our room is physically located by the rooftop bar so we could hear the sounds of doors being slammed all night, to glasses clanking, until closing. The music was also blaring as we tried to get to sleep early, along with the music selection. Visitors come to Mexico to partake in the culture, and music is a big part of the experience. The music selection that was being played all 4 nights we were there was American pop music, to techno versions of 80's tunes. Very disappointing.

the staff was amazing and so so helpful. Joshua went above and beyond. so did the manager whose name I didn’t catch. so sweet. the location was fantastic. like close enough to everything but not in an annoying way. everything is walkable. restaurant had super delicious options. the hotel itself was breathtaking. already planning to come back in 2023
room was kind of chilly. it was December so it was as expected. all the more reason to get comfy under the covers. pool is heated.

the staff was very nice
when there was something wrong like the Aircondition making loud noise or coffee maker broken, things weren’t fixed.

Our stay was simply perfect. Carmen and the staff were super friendly & the Chilaquiles for breakfast were super tasty.. The hacienda with the pool is a little paradise in San Miguels lovely old town. Very spacious & quiet rooms with very comfortable beds.

The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the main square and shops. The room is very wonderful and staff is super helpfull.
I think they realize its noisy since the offer free earplugs.
The hotel has a very nice restaurant and rooftop bar that stay open until 11pm and tbe music from the DJ is loud.

Really nice hotel facilities, stylish Mexican decor. The staff was AMAZING, they made us feel like home. Carmen the manager was amazing too, helped us out in everything we needed. The restaurant La Doña was amazing, we enjoyed it so much we had almost all dinners and lunch in this place. As well the restaurant staff was outstanding with their service!
The Wifi was quite bad, it didn’t work must of the time.

We were looking for a centrally located hotel with a pool and it was exactly what we needed! The location was superb, steps from the main plaza! The rooms were comfortable (we got such a nice night's sleep in the bed each night!), quiet (very good sound proofing despite being in the middle of a large city!), and clean (so clean!). Each morning the pool was warm for an early dip and the courtyard was so serene and beautiful. We loved our nightly cocktail on the rooftop too! Thank you to Carmen and the entire staff who made our stay so wonderful.

Good location, friendly staff, nice decoration and comfy beds.
We pretty much chose this hotel because we wanted to have a swimming pool and a nice location.
The swimming pool looked dirty and unmaintained plus it was cold, they could mention this on their website.
This hotel is not cheap so our expectations get according to the price paid...
After a long trip we wanted to have a warm shower which was not possible since they were having trouble with their plumbing.
Breakfast it is included but you are constantly reminded (pushed) to give a tip after your breakfast it is served.
They had a nice terrace to have cocktails upstairs that no one mentioned.
