The entire facility is beautiful and very well kept - the rooms are very clean (and spacious) and the breakfast (both the breakfast room AND the food!) was exceptional. Love love love!

Everything was very nice. The owner was wonderful. Breakfast was the best we had on our entire 3 week trip. The dinner recommendation from the owner was perfect -- a local spot with excellent food and very nice proprietors.

De stijl van de accommodatie en de bijzonder vriendelijke gastvrouw/heer
Het bed, deze was voor ons te smal want thuis hebben wij 1.80 meter breed, maar voor andere zal het prima zijn.

This is a beautiful guesthouse, lovingly furnished and maintained. Agna has created beautifulrooms that are comfortable, quiet, and perfect for a visit to Bruges, and Mirabel has many of her own artistic creations. They are also unexpectedly large for rooms in Europe, and one of the few locations where we’ve found an actual suite with a second sleeping room with a twin bed. Everything seems to have been considered and provided in advance, and the breakfast was perfect. As my wife noted, Mirabel was worth the trip in itself, and we’ll return to visit.
It’s just a bit of a challenge for disabled, as some stairs must be traversed. But it was no surprise and Agna warned us in advance. For my wife, it wasn’t a problem but if a person is totally reliant on a wheelchair, our room would have been difficult (not necessarily true for all rooms; we needed a larger one).

We have stayed in many nice B&Bs and guesthouses over the years but this one was very special. The Maertens are both warm and gracious hosts who truly love what they do. Their beautiful place reflects her artistry combined with his skills in renovation and construction. Agda's amazing creativity and good taste shows in the decor, the exquisite breakfasts, and unique flower arrangements. Our room was beautifully decorated, immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfasts were made to order, delicious, and works of art. If you are lucky you may have the opportunity to have Agda's light-as-air waffles. I was not feeling well when I arrived and Agda helpfully made a doctor's appointment for me that afternoon on a Sunday when finding a doctor is difficult. Our stay at Guesthouse Mirabel was 3 days and we hated to leave. We hope to be back again someday!
We loved everything!

Ahgna could not have been any nicer and more accommodating upon our check in! She gave us a breakfast menu to order for the next day. Then she explained where we were on a local map and where to walk to enjoy the local nearby sites. The next she and her husband made us the most delicious breakfast we have enjoyed in a long time. The room, bed and bath and shower were all wonderful. Having an elevator was a wonderful bonus as well. We highly recommended the Guesthouse Mirabel!
It was ALL WONDERFUL and an excellent value!

Guesthouse Mirabel in Bruges is a highly recommended place to stay because...
1) Very friendly and warm welcome with a delicious welcome drink and helpful advice on Bruges and its sights as well as helpful answers including information material to questions;
2) Aesthetically furnished, renovated, clean suite (2 rooms (one big with double bed, one small with single bed), bathroom, hallway, parquet floors) which we had rented, with comfortable beds and several seating options, minibar, free WiFi, AC, and sufficient free bathroom amenities (toiletries);
3) Extensive, delicious and individual breakfast, which one can put together the day before using an extensive selection list. Remarkable are, among other things, the offered homemade dessert after breakfast and the unique fruit salad, which is put together in portions from many different types of fruit and differs very clearly from the usual canned and boring "tropical fruit salads" that are offered in some to many hotels;
4) The guest is a guest and not a number - the guest enjoys the full attention of the couple who run this Guesthouse Mirabel. One can sense that both, Agna and her husband, have fun and passion for what they do (they don't seem to do it just for the sake of making a living);
5) Not to forget, the Guesthouse Mirabel is quite centrally located, all tourist attractions (and of course gastronomy) are within walking distance. The next stop (Jan van Eyckplein) of the free shuttle bus to/from the train station is just a few minutes' walk away.
During our stay in Bruges we felt very, very comfortable in the Guesthouse Mirabel.

The Guesthouse is in an ideal location near canals, the market square, and great restaurants. The host and her husband are delightful and prepared an amazing breakfast each morning. Expresso, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and water are available throughout the day. Our room on the second floor was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Anna provided maps and a tour book and was very knowledgeable about the sights in the city.

Spacious, immaculately clean, extremely comfortable and a beautifully presented place to stay. The breakfast was fabulous, especially the home made juices, fresh fruit bowls and waffles. The owner has taken great care to think of every detail and is very helpful and welcoming. The location is ideally placed for easy access to the places of interest, cafés, restaurants etc yet is quiet at night.

We had the most incredible 2 nights in Bruges staying in this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Agna was a wonderful host. She greeted us with a welcome drink,a map, and a guidebook for Bruges and recommended the best places to visit.
The room was immaculate with beautiful decor and finishing touches. A coffee machine and a Mini bar.
The breakfast was hand-picked by us from an extensive daily menu, and if there was anything extra that was not available on the list, Agna would be happy to provide it!
We would 100% stay here again. Thank you for the perfect introduction to Bruges.

Imagine being able to stay in a central old city villa, brilliantly restored and with the best hosts one could imagine...this is what you will get when staying at Guesthouse Mirabel. The rooms are gorgeous, the breakfast phenomenal and the hosts very detailed oriented and welcoming.
Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us. We will be back...
What didn't we like? Absolutely nothing! It was ALL fabulous!

Fabulous hospitality, beautifully decorated, comfortable accommodation and wonderful location. Anya and her husband are warm and generous hosts, we’ve never been so sad to leave.
Anya provided comprehensive suggestions for our stay a personal touch to the interior decoration - she is also a celebrated florist.
We were spoiled with a personalised breakfast everyday and surprised by delightful festive treats. We hope to be able to return someday soon.
Unfortunately we had some loud upstairs guests. Anya takes all measures to minimise impact but it’s challenging in these buildings. A small sacrifice to stay in such a beautiful property.

Agna, the host, is incredibly welcoming and caring. She is also a very talented flower artist.
The guest house is decorated with lots of taste and floral decoration, so are the rooms. The rooms are big, beautifully decorated and have very large bathrooms. I am a hotel designer and care a lot about details, Guest house Mirabel was just perfect!
The breakfast is absolutely delicious.The location is also perfect.
I come to Bruges every year for my birthday and discovered Guest house Mirabel by luck this time. It became my favourite place in Bruges to stay. I will be back! Thank you again Agna for everything.

It’s the perfect place to stay in Bruges! We loved all the decor, the flowers and architecture, our room was beautiful and the personal touches (welcome drinks, the cute teddy on our bed, the homemade desserts after breakfast) made us feel really welcome and at home. It’s so close to everything, we could easily walk into the centre and come back and out again. Agna is a wonderful host, she took care of everything and the breakfasts were amazing with lots to choose from! We highly recommend, we’ll stay here again next time!
Nothing, it was perfect!

There was everything to like, once you opened those big doors from the street, and entered, it was a feeling of coming home, a peace, it was beautiful. Agna has created a wonderful place, so much love and energy into restoring this building. Her flair for artistry is evident everywhere. the floral designs are so beautiful and really add to the peace you feel. Agna’s flair flows onto the kitchen where she creates a breakfast of design. Thank you for sharing your home with us ♥️
There was absolutely nothing to dislike other than I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to stay in that room.
