The worse of roach hotel and pot smoking den awaits you.

Location

An old pot and insecticide-smelling room with soiled stinking bed covers. No toilet paper was found after using the toilet. Could not sleep. Let the hotel with our belongings smelling like pot. It was a painful night.

There were fruit flies in our sweet. When we flushed the toilet or used the sink the restroom would flood. There were tons of holes and cracks in the ceilings. Lastly, our door had major cracks in the lining and you could hear everything happening outside inside the room.

very disappointed. I understand it’s budget but at least be clean.

great convenient of an area

Smelt horrible. very muggy and ac was loud and barely worked. infested with small roaches and got home with 2 ticks. Toilet didn’t flush without taking lid off and doing it manually. Shower was tiny. water pressure was horrible.

Didn't have access to a microwave. Staff was rude, parking was horrible, took smelled of smoke.. Maintenance was very polite.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Unless you don’t mind roaches!

Everything , it was cold outside and had to checkin from an outside window, limited parking, the pictures online are very deceiving. I also got up in the middle of the night to use restroom and saw roaches scatter. couldn’t sleep the rest of the night. left all the lights on after that. And then I just decided to take all my things to my vehicle and sleep in there and left that property around 4am… never again

it was near HEB and lots of places to eat

the area was in middle of lots of traffic, only one way in and out. ice machine did not work.

Ordered a king room, got a "double double." (Two double beds) That's ok, cuz I was ground floor and was able to park right outside my door. So it worked out. Staff is good. One housekeeper saw me take a drink of Arizona tea in a bottle, said "You're drinking, huh?" I replied, "Yes, I'm drinking tea." She was probably just joking. The owner has become my best friend in the entire state of Texas, and I have Booking.com to thank for meeting him. He and his wife run probably the best, most secure hotel in Laredo Texas. They have cameras everywhere, my vehicle is always safe and secure, I feel safe when I stay there. A little more attention might be paid to cleaning the floors. Otherwise EVERYTHING IS GREAT The towels are very clean. Normally there are ironing boards and irons in each room. But there was no iron in my room. I suppose if I needed one I could have asked for one. It was a "working trip" to Laredo so no iron was necessary. TV worked well. Lots of storage space for clothes in dresser. Table and chair for doing desk work. Bed was not 100% comfortable (90%, which is good) but I did get very good rest. I was tired from my previous days driving. No fridge or microwave in this room but like I said, it was a working trip and I had little time Laredo is HOT. So I am very glad that he has little bottles water and coke and soft drinks available in the office and in machine by rooms, too. In Laredo, ever since staying here at Motel 59, I have not stayed at another hotel since. It is my "Home away from home."
