Peccato… rovinati dalla pioggia

La struttura in sé è davvero molto bella. Appartamento spazioso, letti comodi, procedura di check-in facile.

Purtroppo in una camera da letto pioveva acqua dal soffitto (fuori pioveva abbastanza). Abbiamo dovuto mettere due secchi… per fortuna ha smesso di piovere e il problema lentamente è rientrato. Tuttavia non è stato possibile comunicare con lo staff. Unico modo via messaggi di Booking. Ma non ho mai ricevuto risposta (ne la sera entro le 21, ne tantomeno il giorno successivo).

Purtroppo la nostra esperienza presso “Brial apartment 2 bedrooms” è stato negativa. Abbiamo prenotato due pernottamenti, il primo la notte tra il 7-8 agosto ed il secondo tra 14-15 agosto, per due famiglie, la prima prenotazione fatta a nome di una famiglia e la seconda fatta a nome dell’altra famiglia. Il giorno prima dell’arrivo ad Anversa è arrivato un messaggio dalla struttura all’altra famiglia, che aveva prenotato l’appartamento, che diceva che purtroppo, a seguito della presenza di insetti, l’appartamento doveva essere disinfestato e ci chiedeva dunque di annullare la prenotazione. Abbiamo telefonato al servizio assistenza di booking per chiedere quale avrebbe dovuto essere la procedura in una situazione analoga, il servizio assistenza ci ha rassicurato dicendoci che la struttura avrebbe dovuto trovarci un’altra soluzione allo stesso costo, e che ci avrebbe fatto sapere qualcosa. Purtroppo, la mattina dell'8 agosto, il giorno del nostro arrivo ad Anversa, non avendo ricevuto nessuna comunicazione, abbiamo proceduto in autonomia a prenotare un’altra struttura, chiaramente, considerato che oramai eravamo troppo in ritardo, il costo della struttura che abbiamo trovato era molto più alto. Subito dopo, ci è arrivato un messaggio ed una telefonata dalla Struttura “Brial apartment 2 bedrooms” che ci avvisava di aver recuperato un altro appartamento, ma oramai era troppo tardi, avendo prenotato un’altra struttura. La stessa cosa si è ripetuta anche per la seconda prenotazione, il giorno prima del soggiorno, ci è arrivo un messaggio che diceva che avevano avuto problemi all’impianto elettrico, per cui, l’appartamento non era più disponibile e ci proponevano un altro appartamento in via Gementestraat. Considerato, anche in questo caso, lo scarso preavviso, abbiamo deciso di aderire alla loro proposta.

Leuk appartement, perfect voor een vrienden/ vriendinnengroep.

De locatie was erg fijn, dicht bij het tramstation. we hadden een klein balkonnnetje en een grote woonkamer wat fijn was om met zijn alle samen te komen. Ook konden we met z'n alle aan tafel wat erg gezellig was.

De douche had koud water en we wisten zelf niet goed hoe we dit moesten oplossen. Uiteindelijk heeft de host ons verteld hoe we dit moesten oplossen, alleen helaas hadden we toen allemaal al in koud water gedoucht, dus had het liever op tijd geweten :) Ook de lift werkte niet bij ons, misschien wisten we niet goed hoe deze werkte..

perfect place for a family or friends

Large clean apartment with all the facilities you need and real close to the heart of the city. There is cheap parking nearby.

The lift is small but is working properly. We wished to check out would be around noon so we asked and were granted late check out for 15€ which is not so expensive.

fijne week gehad

De vele ruimte die er was in de woon kamer. en de tv die goed te gebruiken was. en niet zover van het centrum af. dat was fijn, je was erg snel overal

de lampen waren stuk, we misten wat theedoeken en het was niet allemaal schoon. er lach geen stof, maar de pannen waren niet allemaal even schoon. eerst even afwassen.

A limpeza deixava bastante a desejar. O estrado da cama de casal caíu a meio da noite, porque a barra metálica central está danificada. As camas em geral não são boas

Vreselijke overlast gehad om 5 uur in de nacht was het nog steeds een feest boven ons hoofd. Dit gemeld, ook bij de bovenburen.. We moesten de politie maar bellen gaf de verhuurder aan. Alsof de politie niet iets beters te doen heeft. De volgende dag hier nogmaals contact over gehad met de verhuurder. Ze gingen kijken wat ze voor ons konden doen, gemeld dat ik gecompenseerd wil worden, ze gingen het bekijken en zouden er op terug komen. Tot op heden nog niks gehoord dus vandaar dan maar de review..

Pleasant

Apartment had nice sleeping accommodation and enough room for all. Instructions for checkin were very clear. Enough street parking, but only valid for 3 hours. Thereafter you must wait 30min before being able to check in your car again.

We had some additional questions after checking in, but no response from host after receiving instructions for check in. Also there was no oven and weird smell in the stair/hall way.

I like when I get what I expect. That was definitely the case. Thank you.

Excellent accommodation for a family with children, or a group of teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped. Good location close to the main railway station and a beautiful park.

We had two children with two trolleys. The elevator was a bit too small for them, but suitable. It was not obvious what to do with household waste, more precise instructions would be helpful.

Very basic, but clean and comfy enough.

Big enough to sleep 7 people.

Very basic, no oven. The lift was interesting and stopped working when we were trying to leave. Not very helpful when you have food & bags for 7 people. 1 of which is mobility impaired which was a nightmare going down 3 levels on a spiral staircase with poor lighting. 1st night one of the downstairs apartments we’re having a great night (around midnight) shame we could hear them. Bedroom 2 is very small. The shower head was broken so you had to hold it up to shower.

Spacious apartment close to the train station

The property was within a few mins walk of the train station. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It had a bathroom and a separate toilet which was handy when travelling as a family. Walking to the old town was only a couple of kms.

There is a small spiral staircase which is tricky with luggage and a broken lift. We were surprised with a request for 200Euro deposit a week before our stay. I chose to use paypal as I thought it would give me more peace of mind that the deposit would be returned. Unfortunately that also meant I was hit with hefty fees and with currency conversion rates I was out of pocket another 20 euros. I contacted booking.com to ensure it was a legitimate request. An added unnecessary stress. Wifi details that were provided did not work, and I could not get a response from the host.

Family visit to Antwerp

Very good location. It was also not too difficult to find a parking spot. The rooms are large and conveneient for staying with family.

Very few utensils - at least frying pans or toaster would be helpful. As there is no AC, need to keep the windows open allowing mosquitoes in.

Very good

It's a very nice apartment in walking distance from the station and maybe 2km from the old town. It's a spacious flat in a very quiet neighbourhood. It even had live BBC – a rare treat in mainland Europe.

The only odd thing is the €200 deposit that is required about a week before the date. It has to be done by bank transfer and that can be very awkward with overseas payments. Other people have mentioned it in their reviews. We were already travelling and it was a stress I didn't need on my holiday. It's very, very strange thing to ask for in 2023. But it was repaid promptly.

It is an apartment can stay max for 12 people. Although it is next to the train station, it is not noisy.

The apartment has a strong bleach smell and the bedroom curtains can not cover the full window; 200Euro deposit is required.

The apartment is very spacious, clean, well equipped, in good localization. Parking places nearby - free on weekends (but notice that it is in the red zone during working days). I recommend that place.

The deposit 200 Euro per night very high and not mentioned in general costs of booking. But is has been returned what is ok.

The apartment was overall good, clean except for the beddings. Located within a walking distance from the Central Station in a quite area. The host was responsive.

The sleeping arrangements not as expected. There was only one double bed and 3! bunk beds instead of 2 double beds and 2 bunk beds that we expected. The beddings had a bad smell. The pillows and the blankets need to be washed, or better changed. It was quite unpleasant.

story time horror experience trapped in an apartment

it was very close to the main train station and to the city center

there were a ton of rules written up, on the elevator and in the living room, and a lot of limitations for what seemed to be one of my worst nights ever. the key broke and my friend and I were locked in the apartment until someone came in the morning. I had a panic attack and was so close to calling the police, the key was really cheap and so were the locks. for all the high expectations that one would assume would come from a place writing rules on every wall you’d think the shower head would be hung, not broken, and the toilet would work. If you want to have a restless night's sleep book this place, the moment you walk in you feel displaced and super uncomfortable 😣

Very spacious and clean apartment

The apartment is spacious, perfectly clean and easy to get to by car. We only stayed for one night but we've would have liked to stay longer. It looks like there is a metro or train at walking distance.

It was pretty cold inside the apartment even though we increased the temperature in the thermostat and didn't really feel any difference, but not a deal breaker, just FYI. Careful with the elevator, we were 3 ans got stuck between floor 1 and 2, luckily my husband opened the door, (it's an old elevator with just 1 door) and that brought it up to the 2nd floor 😅

Very spacious, clean in good area, close to the train station and 20 mins away from the city center.

The host is asking for 200€ as a deposit for a night! This is unbeliveble, is not normal to ask for such a deposit. I got in touch with customer service and they got an exception for 50€ as a deposit, anyway, the host was keep asking for 200€. In the end I paid 50€ as a deposit which was refunded.

Nice looking apartment. About a 20 min walk into town. Good shower.

Hard beds. I had to pay a €200 deposit via PayPal which I was unaware of. Also seemed to lose about £10 when the deposit was eventually paid back, not sure if it was fees? Already paid city tax ontop of that.

Comfortable stay. Could do with a better shower head and consistent central heating.

We enjoyed the location and the fact parking could be provided at an extra cost. Our stay was reasonably comfortable.

The shower needed to be held to use and even then flooded the bathroom. The central heating was not consistent throughout. The master bedroom was cool, while the kid’s bedroom was like a sauna.

Exceptional

Appartment is very nice, surely for the price, it's large one (two bedrooms, living room with equipped kitchen including cooktop and fridge, two toilets). It's very quite despite you can see trains passing by from the window of the living room. Position is also excellent: few minutes walking from the central station and so the city centre. We didn't have need to contact the owner exceptionality, we received all information on time and clearly explained.
