Clean, great location, can never go wrong with Moxy, I have stayed at multiple locations so I know. But this time they were exceptional. I called the day before I was going to check in to request if I can be upgraded to a room for 3 people instead of 2, since we needed to bring our son along. And the reception was so good about it, at no cost they gave me a room with 2 queens, but these were two separate rooms within our suite. Such a delightful experience. I'm a loyalist now!

The location was perfect! Loved the modern vibes of the hotel itself and the rooms were nicely decorated.
When we checked in, the receptionist/bartender told us we were staying in her absolute favorite room, so we were excited! We stayed on the 9th floor, in the corner room with a beautiful view. We got back to our room that first night and realized our room must’ve been DIRECTLY below the DJ on the 10th floor at Mandrake. The bass was so loud everything in the room was shaking, felt like the TV and mirrors would fall off the wall. If anyone has ever seen the episode of SpongeBob where the jellyfish throw that party all night, that is EXACTLY what to expect if you stay at this hotel. Plan on listening to that until about 230a when the party upstairs finally comes to an end. Thank god for Netflix on full blast and shows about ectoplasm and reincarnation that helped us doze off to sleep.

Location was great and everything was very moden and new.
There is a club like edm music bumpin on the 10th floor. We were in the 8th floor and our room was shaking from the beat til 2am…. Also no fridge.

Location and style is great.
Room was little! Also we heard music from the hotel bar until 2 am. Not ideal.

I like what Moxy had to offer, even though I was incredibly disappointed in what I actually received
My sister and I stayed at Moxy in Louisville last year. It was a wonderful experience. We loved the bar and the hangout experience that was so heavily advertised. We decided to repeat our experience in Columbus for a concert and we're so disappointed in what occurred. The hotel was shooting their commercial. Even though this greatly impacted our stay, we were never informed of this occurring during our visit in order to make changes. Instead, nearly every aspect of the "hangout and bar" experience that we so loved before, was taken over by crew and props the entire time we were there. At one point, the pool table had inflatable flamingos covering the top of the table for a scene, while the pinball machine was blocked with chairs they have moved, the bar seating was surrounded by crew and cameras, the Pacman machine had been unplugged and moved (wasn't turning back on), and the board games were used as props. There was nothing for us to do. So, rather than getting to spend our entire day drinking and playing free games, we ended up having to leave the hotel for hours at a time (spending more money than planned for) in order to even enjoy our time I'm Columbus. It's so ironic to be filming a commercial for the stomsphere you offer, but completely disregard that experience for your current customers. To be clear, I would have been perfectly content to enjoy parts of the lobby at a time: if they had to shoot a pool table scene while we played Jenga, or if they used one side of the room while we enjoyed the other...but that's not what happened. It was completely taken over and our stay was significantly impacted. I would absolutely like to receive reimbursement for this trouble.

Location was incredible! The daytime hotel vibe was awesome… the front desk staff was amazing! And loved the drink tokens when we first arrived!
The night time entrance into the hotel as a hotel guest was a bit too much. The hostess seamed new and a bit overwhelmed by all the people. And the room size was SO small! our air was all over the place, and our phone didn’t work at all.

Location and pet friendly.
Male working in Valet very rude. He did not speak when we approached stand. He actually walked away and refused to assist. Another Valet member helped us. This individual had a very bad attitude and seemed angry.
We also had issues with room key due to elevator not working. Loud construction next door was annoying and woke me up on my birthday at 6 am. We were given a corner room right beside construction even though hotel was not very busy.

We got two free drink tokens, and the games available in the lobby/bar were fun. Centrally located near lots of great restaurants, bars, and shopping.
The walls between rooms are paper thin and we heard everything from shrieking to sobbing to vomiting from the bachelorette party next door. Staff handled the situation poorly and ended up antagonizing the noisy party. The bar downstairs was also pretty loud until ~2 AM, followed by lots of ambulance and police sirens in the late hours of the night. The room also doesn't have a fridge/freezer and parking is not included.
