We had everything we needed and more. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathroom was big. You can hear there renters above walking around, but we were so tired from all our activities, it did not bother us.

Was a great, clean, convenient place to go ride! Even though the rain was brutal! Lol

This place was exactly as described. Easy check-in and very clean. Large, updated kitchen with everything you need. The location could not be beat. Within 5 minutes walking distance to the bakery, store, breweries, restaurants. It was perfect.

Very clean, warm and up to date place. Loved the double headed shower and the kitchen. Lots of open space and great for a weekend get away to check out white salmon/hood river. Only downside was hearing the occasional noise from upstairs renters/owners and not being able to check in until 4pm.

This little property is a perfect place to stay for you and someone else. The kitchen is amazing and the shower tops it all! The Apple TV was hard to figure out, but we don’t have that so that was the only downfall.

Very close to hood river and very spacious indoor and outdoor spaces. Very pleased with this spot. Only comment would be to echo previous reviews that you can hear the footsteps of the unit above very loudly at all times of day/night. Would definitely stay again.

Directions to get to and access this location were very clear/easy to follow. The entire apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The washer and dryer worked great. The unit has coffee maker pot and filters. Coffee was also found in the pantry along with a lot of spices and seasonings if you wanted to cook.
All appliances were clean and good quality - fridge does have an ice maker. Temp inside was comfortable for us and we were there in September when mid afternoon temps sometimes reached low 90's.
We did have one question during our 3-night stay and management was very prompt with a response.
There is a great coffee/pastry/sandwich shop within 5 min walk. White Salmon Baking Co - but get there early if you want to avoid a line.
Everybody's Brewing (5 min walk) had great food, beers and drinks. We all enjoyed our food and drink, server was very friendly.
The only "down" is nothing the management or owners can control. The bridge connecting Hood River & White Salmon is a toll bridge (and narrow lanes). Each trip across is $3.50 each time you use the bridge (cash or card). You may want to look in to getting a toll tag (aka BreezeBy) if you plan on a long stay.
I would stay there again if we were ever back in the Columbia Gorge area.

This place was great. It’s a nice place and it’s a very short walk from downtown White Salmon. It has a large, open kitchen and a great shower.

Clean and super cute apartment under the main living rental. Appreciate the updated kitchen. The living area has a futon, which could be updated. Would stay here again!

The property was well equipped and appointed. Did have some challenges with the stove, heating and television/controls instructions. It was a good visit and I was grateful I had such a convenient place and clean to be.

We had a nice time. My only complaint was that the hot tub upstairs would kick on pretty late. It didn't run too long and we were able to fall asleep. The place was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. The gas woodstove was nice. The shower was amazing. We would definitely stay again if headed back to White Salmon.

Corporate owner doesn't even know that this place is in the state of Washington. All the promotional materials and emergency numbers left for guests were about Oregon. Pillows smell bad, mattress worn and old. Lights burned out in the shower, no instructions for the heating system. I had to shovel the snow and apply icemelt to get to the door. No blankets, just a bedspread on a subfreezing night. Had to pile up towels to stay warm. Location is good. Poor example of a short term stay facility in a lovely small town. Hope someone will take these faults to heart and help this place rise to its potential.

very spacious kitchen, large double showers
convenient location across the River from Hood River, the sofa/ futton not very comfortable to seat on to view TV
thank you for letting us in , for early check in

Amazing location, within walking distance of downtown White Salmon. It was great to be able to park and then just walk around town. There was noise from upstairs, but it didn't bother us. Kitchen is huge!
Reasons why we rated this 4 out of 5 stars:
-some issues with cleanliness. There was a used towel left in the bathroom when we arrived. The washing machine smelled strongly of mildew. We ran it on tub cleaning cycle before we did laundry and that helped. The dryer lint trap was full.
-It gets stuffy down there. Basement rental with minimal control over the temperature. Window in the bedroom and the sliding door were on the same side of the rental so creating air flow was difficult. Thank you for leaving the three box fans in the bedroom closet, that helped but still, it got stuffy fast.
-minimal furniture. The sofa was probably a futon? Didn't seem to be in good shape and very uncomfortable to sit on.
The shower was nice and the bedroom was clean so this served our purposes but it might be nice to have the washer/dryer more thoroughly checked and cleaned between visitors.

Location was awesome! Walking distance to local shops, grocery store, White Salmon Bakery! Only down fall is that the floor is not insulated upstairs and foot traffic is loud especially if there are children upstairs running around, as in our case. Otherwise, great unit! Bed super comply and the walk in double shower is a dream!!!!

Very nice property in a great location.

This is exactly as advertised but there is a lot of noise from the unit directly above. This is NOT because those guests were being noisy. Much to the contrary. It's because very little to no sound proofing has been installed between the floors. If this was just rented as one whole unit, it would be like renting any other house. But as it is rented as two units, more consideration has to be given to peace and quiet for both units.

What a great place to stay! I lived in White Salmon for decades and this location and accommodations are top notch. Walking distance to the main drag and evening walks. Perfect👍🏻

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The apartment feels very private. The location was perfect and a short stroll gets you right into action in White Salmon.

Somewhat Disappointed
The home was spacious enough for two people. Home was stocked with all the things that you need for a home away from home. For the most part, I enjoyed my stay. The only two negatives I have about the stay is the upstairs people were kind of noisy. They walked very hard across the floor late at night while trying to sleep. The other thing is, the non-refundable cleaning fee of $317. We are elderly people and are not messy. We definitely clean up after ourselves. Even with the instructions to start the dishwasher and take out garbage, turn lights out, etc., we should have part of our cleaning fee back for leaving the place neat. To have someone to clean a 1000ft apartment for $300 is a bit expensive, if you ask me. It may be fine for some, but not for me. Never again will I rent a place that charges such a large non-refundable cleaning fee. I'm sure you'll have no problem renting to others that will pay that.

Took a class for a weekend. Rental apartment for the class. Walking distance to downtown. Nice place to stay.

Rainy days in White Salmon
Great central location and easy to walk into town (stores, bakery, coffee, groceries), even in the rain. Quiet place except on occasion w/ a barking dog next door and audible tv and step noise from the space upstairs (understandable given the basement location of the rental).

Well done
Great place. A little noisy with upstairs occupants

Checking in
The email I received said nothing about the fact I was staying in "unit two", the basement. all I got was a door code that didn't work on the first door I saw. The lady who helped me was very nice and talked me through the process, but there were a total of five key boxes that I had to try to get the code to work.

Nice & Clean-Limited Furniture and a bit noisy
It's a nice , neat and clean small unit with quality appliances, stone counters and quality bathroom with large 2 headed shower and washer/dryer. What it lacks is basic furniture such as a dinning table and chairs as the pictures show. That was our mistake for not paying closer attention given we intended to do remote work. There is a patio table outside under the deck with 4 chairs which is nice but not realistic for daily routine living. Above the unit on a deck is a hot tub that has a regular cleaning cycle that went off 24/7. Also, while the very nice owners upstairs seemed to do their best to keep quiet, anyone walking around created quite loud creaking directly above everywhere in the unit. It is unavoidable and light sleepers as we are, was hard to ignore. Lastly, while the unit is bright during the day, no direct sunlight can reach it. There are no views as it basically a converted basement that looks directly into the side of the workshop in the back of the property. FYI, the A/C is controlled by the owners and the rental agency and not within the unit. It worked out but seemed odd and a little inconvenient.

Spring in the Columbia River Gorge area
We had a wonderful time on our month long stay in White Salmon WA. The spring wildflowers on both the Washington and Oregon side were wonderful. The apartment was all we needed with a large and well equiped kitchen, full sized washer and dryer, full bedroom and living room with TV and google assist. We could walk to the White Salmon bakery and to all the restaurants in White Salmon. It was also a short commute over the bridge to Hood River. Check out all the great hikes on www.nwhiker.com.

internet login and password were wrong on the sheet. Texted management, gave us the correct login, PW was incorrect. PW given had "!" at the end, actual PW did not. I believe the owner is at fault.Air conditioning was controlled by homeowner not us. There was one vent, 4" x 10" on the far wall. Nothing in the bedroom. Got warm at night.

Loved it! It was the right size for the 2 of us. The kitchen is massive with plenty of counter space and supplies to cook or bake anything/everything. Bed was comfy. Oh and that 2 headed shower was amazing. Highly recommend booking this place!
