Nos situaron en una habitacion en un subterranio con entrada y salida de camiones de lavandería a las 6am que hacían mucho ruido que nos despertó. Al solicitar que nos cambiaran de habitación nos dijeron que no. Además había una cucaracha en la ducha.

Localização bacana, mas não recomendo para mulheres ou viajantes que queiram fazer amizades

A localização é bacana, perto de supermercado, casa de câmbio, bares e cafeterias. O hostel até que tem uma arquitetura legal, como uma casa antiga colorida.

Eu já tinha me hospedado em um hostel da rede Viajero em Buenos Aires e a experiência foi sensacional por lá. Nesse Viajero Kokopeli em Lima eu ressalto alguns pontos: - Na primeira noite, teve um torneio de beerpong muito legal que começou por volta das 20h, com interação entre os hóspedes e um clima muito bom de viajantes. Porém, a partir de determinado horário, o hostel abre para pessoas de fora e vira uma balada que não favorece em nada a experiência de viajantes, interações e o tipo de diversão que geralmente a gente procura num hostel. Eu e minha amiga, enquanto mulheres, ficamos desconfortáveis e um pouco inseguras, porque a abordagem da galera não era muito bacana. Se você está imaginando que essa é uma oportunidade de ter uma experiência legal de "festa local", saiba que está longe disso. Passados alguns minutos que a balada abriu para quem é de fora, eu e minha amiga reparamos que as outras hóspedes mulheres não estavam mais lá (talvez tenham se sentido desconfortáveis também) e aí nós tbm fomos dormir. Nos outros dias que se seguiram, a gente tbm percebeu que em alguns dias eles abrem pra quem é de fora mesmo, e que havia muita gente no bar sem a pulseira de hóspedes. No fim das contas, o bar do hostel acaba tendo mais gente de fora do que viajantes em alguns dias ou momentos. A entrada da balada é "separada", mas a passagem para os quartos não é muito controlada, o que nos deu uma sensação de insegurança enquanto hóspedes. *Se você é mulher e está especialmente viajando sozinha com o objetivo de fazer novas amizades, eu não recomendo esse hostel.* O som chega no quarto com bastante facilidade, então também não recomendo se você precisa de algum silêncio para dormir. Não foi um problema para mim, mas fica a informação. - Outro ponto é que nós estávamos em quarto privativo e ele não foi limpo nenhuma vez em 5 dias de hospedagem. - A cama fazia muito barulho com movimentos muito básicos como sentar e levantar dela.

Location was perfect to visit around Barranco and near Miraflores. Good security, locks, main gate with intercom

The assigned room was in a sublevel, ceiling in wood. You could hear every step and dropped thing above your head. Like marching elephants. 2 out of 3 times no hot water in the shower. Only time I got hot water was at 2pm.

It was nice for meeting people and having nightlife on location however the bar was very loud beside my private room.

Great location and staff!

Perfect location. Excellent staff. Great water pressure and hot water. Super comfy beds. Nice bar and activities. Cheap laundry service.

Stunning building with excellent staff and amenities.

Excellent location close to the main square park, cafes, restaurants, galleries, and shops. The building itself is gorgeous, the beds were comfortable with privacy curtains and large lockers for storage. The washrooms were clean and the breakfast was affordable and delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, they had a dedicated tourist desk and different social events every night.

The building is on a busy street and traffic was quite loud.

We loved the room but its not a comfortable place to stay, will not recommend.

The front desk Staff are very helpful. The building itself is amazing, and the location is the best. Overall, the place is very clean and well-maintained.

If you are looking for comfort, this place is not for you. Especially at night, it's very loud. We stayed in a private room, people playing table tennis till they were done. The front desk told us it should be closed by 10 pm, but they are not very strict on timing. The noise from the bar is very loud, and it's in your room until they close the door, which again has no timing. It is supposed to be 11 or 12, but it depends. And after 12, you have people coming to the common who speak very loud or might be drunk.

Great location but choose regular dorms!

Location, cleanliness, staff!

I stayed in one of the ‘upgraded rooms’ with a private bathroom but this was literally underground, smelt like damp concrete and had no ventilation meaning it was really hot and uncomfortable to breathe in

Muy buena experiencia

Muy buen hostel, recomendable por su ubicación y las comodidades que entrega en el sector de Barranco. Muchos restaurantes y atractivos en sus alrededor, incluso un supermercado cruzando la calle. El staff muy amable!

Es un hostel orientado a viajeros que les gusta la fiesta :) tienen un bar que funciona casi todos los dias con música fuerte. Afortunadamente, yo estaba en una habitación donde el ruido no era tan intenso, por lo que no me molestó, pero el estilo alegre y con música es algo que caracteriza este lugar y es algo que se debe saber antes de venir.

Great place to stay

Great location and very beautiful colonial building. Great staff, very helpful.

Some rooms are underground, so there is AC always on. Not a big deal but I prefer fresh air.

Got sleep deprived... Great location but extremely noisy.

Great location, Barranco is really cool. Beautiful colonial building. Nice people too.

No curtains and a LOT of noise! I booked their “suite” to recharge my batteries but didn’t sleep at all: here’s loud noise 24/7, a nightclub next door and very thin walls... Bring an eye patch and earplugs or you won’t sleep well. The suite is nice, but this was a bummer.

A great place to stay

The location of the hostel is fantastic! It’s a walkable distance to the ‚Puente de los Suspiros‘, the ocean, to many restaurants and galleries. I booked the suite and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in this wonderful historic building! The staff was very kind and helpful. I organized shuttle pick up through the hostel and everything went smooth. BTW I enjoyed the tasty cakes, sandwiches & pizzas there. I‘ll definitely come back!

Spmetimes the WiFi in the room was not stable.

I met some of the best people here, seriously. Its location is perfect in the most happening area of barranco, the staff is great.

It wasn’t so bad once I got over it but there is a night club right next door. At night my room was right next to all the music so it was VERY loud. The rooms also tend to get a bit humid which can be u comfortable but considering the location and all the friendly people staying here I think the trade off isn’t so bad. I didn’t have the best rest here but I did have a great time and met so really awesome people. I would also skip the tours, I went to one and it was terrible.

Nice hostel, tiny bathroom in 1-14

Location is nice, staff is very warm and welcoming, there are shops/atm nearby and a supermarket. The building is quite cool and there are lots of activities in and out if you are into that.

I stayed in 2 different rooms, 1 in 4 beds and 1 in 14. The 1 in 4 was nice, regarding the 1 in 14 I just didn't like the shower at all. There is only a tiny bathroom and a tiny shower for a room with 14 people, in the shower you almost don't have space to move and you don't have space to leave your things or get changed properly and the water gets all stuck everywhere. There is also a sink with a small mirror that it's opened to the room so it's not too private. Apart from that everything else was good and I'd recommend the place but I'd consider a smaller room to share unless you're on a budget

Ótimo local pra quem quer conhecer pessoas!

O local é muito bacana, com bar e diversos atrativos, ótimo pra quem quer conhecer pessoas, o quarto era amplo, a equipe foi muito cortês, a localização também é ótima.

O quarto era um pouco quente e barulhento, pois ficava em frente ao local que continha uma mesa de ping pong (a bolinha às vezes batia na porta), nos deram tampões para o ouvido, achei bacana a iniciativa, mas infelizmente não funcionou conforme a expectativa.

Struttura pulitissima ( a parte qualche ragnatela dove si attacca la presa tel letto ). Doccia con bocchettone enorme e soprattutto acqua caldissima. Vicinissima al centro. Di fronte la metro dove si possono prendere i vari pasti della giornata

Felt like we were staying in a palace! Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. Our room had a fan, which we appreciated. Eggs and crepes for breakfast did the trick. Great location for strolling around Barranco. Would happily stay there again.

Evening parties with loud music until 2am, but to be expected at a fun, social hostel.

Really great location, Barranco is soo beautiful, loads of bars and restaurants in walking distance, definitely better o

The most amazing building, in terms of architecture and design. Gives you the feeling of living in a mansion. Staff are incredible, always going the extra mile to help you - shoutout to Kamila(🙌🏼).

The lower floor rooms have that underground, damp smell and I could hear everyone walking on the top.

Deluxe rooms are very spacious and showers are very hot.

The breakfast was repetitive, whilst the staff tried to promote a social aspect most guests sit on laptops or drink on the patio as it is cheaper so not the best for meeting people.

This is the best place for solo travelers as this place is always full of people when other hostels are often quite empty. They always have some parties during the weekend where u can meet more people. The staff was amazing and super helpful. Breakfast was pretty standard, they could get better bread tho 😉 Honestly there isn't anything bad i can say about this place. In general it was great. Perfect location too, very close to the center of Barranco 👌❤️
