a fairly large room, a comfortable large table, a convenient kitchen, there is a dishwasher
narrow bathroom, a bit inconvenient to enter the shower cabin. Above the bed is a very long lamp, into which you hit your head) WiFi issues but after ringing we were given another network.

The location was unacceptable,Mold in the bathroom, water running down the windows, completely inadequately equipped, extremely noisy, tremendous noise pollution in the house, landlord does not respond to criticism, probably illegal holiday apartment as no registration number was given, not even when asked, district does not match what was advertised on booking. com agree

The location was great and the flat was perfect for what we needed. It was a well-appointed apartment, super quiet and very comfortable. We were 5 people and one child and it was more than enough space. I would recommend staying here in the future.
We had some problems with the hot water and Madflats didn't give us updates as often as we would have liked. We kept having to ask them for information instead of them just giving us an update. We ended up going three days without hot water and they refunded us part of our stay for that time, which was helpful. We just wish the communication would have been better.

The area where appartment is located. It was clean, nice usable kitchen
The management didn't reply to my messages, the appartment above the bar with outdor seating right under the windows, horrible noise till 4 am. We have not slept more than one hour during any of 3 nights we stayed there. Drunk loud people till 4 am, delivery and garbage trucks from 5 am. When we asked to be moved to any appartment facing the yard, we were ignored. There is renovation during the day in the yard, starts early in the morning. But at least you will be sleeping at night. Closed windows do not reduce the noise by much btw.

1) The apartment is located in a really nice area - close to the city center, a maximum of 10 minutes walk to the most important U/S-Bahn stations. Just across the street is Rewe, a very well stocked supermarket.
2) I liked the kitchen - it had everything you need to cook a proper meal.
1) No real soap. Not even proper soap for washing hands and nothing for personal hygiene.
2) In the same building where the apartments are located, there is a restaurant whose kitchen doors were in the building - this meant that the whole building constantly smelled of food from this restaurant.
3) At certain times of the day, there was a strange mechanical noise coming from the outside of the building - the same noise that would come from a non-quiet air pump or air conditioner. You could literally hear the walls vibrating. Not very loud, but you could hear it. That could be disconcerting for people who are light sleepers.

It’s a lovely location and the cafe downstairs odd wonderful. We booked two apartments. One was better than the other, but both affected by construction in the courtyard and bad customer service.
It would be beautiful if it was clean and everything worked. Our unit (the smaller studio) was lovely and most things worked. We didn’t have to walk past the rubbish corner to get in and the staircase was dirty but the room was clean. At one stage someone urinated in the staircase but once inside it was cosy.
We used a face washer to stabilise the shower head. This didn’t work in the other apartment.
The courtyard is divine and the cafe owner brings you coffee and breakfast. It’s just it is filthy with construction dust and all the noise of building during the day.
It’s absolutely normal for a construction site. I just wish they were honest in their advertisement.

The best thing about MFlats I’d the cafe downstairs. Pane al Caffe, and the barista Raul, are magical. Friendly, welcoming, and so helpful with any advice you need.
The property was a big disappointment. It simply wasn’t as advertised. The courtyard is a construction site, messy dusty and noisy all day. The apartment entrance surrounded by rubbish and bins. The shower head did not work. You couldn’t shower except by holding it in your hand. The bathroom flooded with each shower and they give you an old mop to clean it up. They say they provide items like toilet paper but you only get a small amount and for long stays you buy your own. Bedside lamps didn’t work. Doona has no cover in one room Communication is non existent. When we tried to get help through booking.com there was no reply. Only message we got from off-site management was to tell us they were going to be turning the water off over the next three days?!!!
A high price to pay for an apartment in a construction zone with no support. I’m not even sure they should be listed when they offer no support to guests.
Fundamentally, not as advertised.

Big apartment, heating works well. Two bathrooms.
Too small towels, expected that they would be replaced on 9 night stay. Some of the kitchen accessories are missing. Kitchen chairs are badly assembled.

- easy communication with the host
- easy key pick-up
- large, clean and modern apartment
- I was allowed to bring my dog
- It was literally impossible to find anything at that price point and value/size apartment closer to the city center.
- for my purposes it was simply too far from the city center and appointments I had to get to
- the shower does not have a curtain, so it does get very wet on the floor
- the shower needs repairing at a top corner, a whole in the wall was just closed up with a towel - not great at that price point
- It would be great if the double bed had a double blanket and not just one single blanket
- I had to ask three times for my business invoice BUT staff was very friendly when they did replied to it

nothing much
complete waist of money, doesn’t look like the photos and for what we got it was just way to expensive. Also, I asked the stuff multiple times to fix the shower. All they did was that they would come every day at 9-10 o’clock and wake everyone up, but damn! we are on holidays, we don’t want to wake up at 9-10 o’clock! The worst part is that they haven’t even fixed it, they were just waking us up a few days in a row…. Also they forgot to include one pillow and one blanket. Left us 3 packets of tee and 3 trash bags 👍 good job for that much money

Beautiful modern apartment. Spacious and lovely design. 10/10 overall booking and check-in experience. Easy access to city centre by bus. Host was very responsive, and we had no issues at all while staying here, I would love to stay again!

It is very close to the Friedenau S-Bahn stop and the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz U-Bahn stop, both of which are a 5-minute pleasant walk away in a quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood. The apartment is located on the third floor of a building accessed from an inner courtyard that provides a very quiet and calm atmosphere. The indoor spaces were warm and extraordinarily clean. I think it was the cleanest apartment stay I have ever purchased on this site.
Using transportation, you can reach the city's main areas of interest or strategic stations for more articulated movements within 10 minutes.
Overall, a perfect experience. Highly recommended.
Everything is perfect although there is one VERY important flaw in the bathroom. The shower does not have adequate protection and you end up flooding the whole floor. Also, the shower arm was partially broken and did not stay in the right position for more than a handful of seconds. Nothing serious, however I would recommend the owners to fix this thing that is minimal on one hand, but very important in terms of comfort for those staying there.

I liked the location and the beds were very comfy.
The bathroom is not good. The shower doesn't have a curtain. When you shower you get water everywhere which results in a wall covered in mold. And the cleaning in general could've been a bit more thorough in my opinion. It's OK for a shorter stay.

Nice and spacious house in a lovely neighbourhood. Good beds.
TV and shower need an update and a little more cleaning under the beds and couch would make the place super.
4.5
The apartment is located very close to S-Bahn and U-Bahn station, what makes the every-day commuting very easy. The district of Friedenau is really nice and peaceful, what makes it a nice place to rest.
I loved how spacious the apartment was. The kitchen was practical and well-equipped. The bed was ok, and there were several places to store your stuff, so it is certainly a good place for longer stays.
The contact with the Hausmeisterin was very easy; she is kind and helpful person.
Although the bathroom was overall ok, the shower was in a bad condition – the owner should really consider renovating it. Any kind of shelf in the shower would be appreciated, too.
Directly below the apartment I was renting, there is a resturant, so you may smell it (for those who tend to avoid such experiences). However, for me personally, it was not that much disturbing.
I was staying in the apartment during the extreme heats in July (mostly more over 30 degrees Celsius). It was bearable and it was nice to discover that the apartment was staying relatively cool. However, as it has all the windows on the same side of the building, it is extremely difficult to ventilate it with some fresh air, so I would advice the owners to provide at least some simple ventilators.

Mitte apartment:
Large apartment, clean and well organized
Prime location in the neighbourhood.
Great value for money.
It would have been perfect with a washing machine.

The location is perfect, near a number of restaurants, coffee shops, close to both U and S-bahn. Bed sheets and towels are replenished every week. Zaida, the lady in charge helped me bring my oversized suitcase to the first floor upon arrival. There are beautiful walnut and pear threes in the inner yard of the Madflats compound. I preferred the last floor apartment (Zehlendorf) to the one of the first floor (Prenzlauer) because it was more spacious, quieter, with a nicer view and facing north which was very helpful during the hot summer days
Noise in early morning from the restaurant downstairs

We sent an email to Madflats immediately after we booked. they responded and gave us Zaida's whatsapp. she works there and she helped us. we told her that we're going to arrive late at 00:00. She left us the keys in the box and sent us the code to open the box. the name of the room is written on the keys and its easy to find it.

An excellent apartment with a very good location for us. We will definitely be staying there again.
