This home on the lake was an amazing place to have our family reunion. The kids loved playing in the water off the dock. There was plenty of space on the deck for the rest of us to relax. I would highly recommend this home.

This house was perfect for our group! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out! The house has an awesome deck with a beautiful view! The house is easy to get to and close to town. We can’t wait to return!

This property did fit all my familys needs. Beautiful house and view of the lake and mountains. It was a bit disappointing however to find a few things in the house that were not working and or should have been addressed by maintenance prior to us coming. Neither of the wine/beer fridges were working, the fireplace upstairs was out of order, and that was very disappointing considering our stay was in early November. Also, the handrail going down to the basement was loose, and a panel in the bar was also not secure, the bumper pool table is completely broke!! I feel that with renting a house of this magnitude, everything should be working and or fixed.

This was a nicely appointed home, comfortable and clean.
We had everything we needed for a fun vacation stay. We enjoyed the decks, dock, outdoor firepit, ping pong and kayaks. The home was nicely furnished and had room for everyone in our party. The view over the lake was beautiful. There was one drawback and that was a terrible HVAC system. When the main floor of the home was a comfortable temperature, the basement was freezing. We had to leave the air conditioner off all week in order that people could sleep and bathe in the lower level, otherwise it was just too cold. Unfortunately that made the main level hot and stuffy. Since we spent most of our time outdoors it was not a deal breaker but I might not rent the home again due to the discomfort this caused.

The house is equipped with everything needed for a great weekend away! Close to restaurants and downtown Sandpoint. One day we rented a boat at Sandpoint Watersports which was fantastic. Quiet neighborhood, with beautiful views. The huge backyard was perfect for a day of yard games. We spent way more time outside than inside!

Great weather through the week and the Lake was up and provided lots of water opportunities. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed for our large family. The beach was particularly well set up for access to the Lake, as well as seating on the large deck with Adirondack chairs perfect for watching the bald eagles and ospreys.

We gathered with 3 generations of family at this home and had a wonderful time. The kitchen layout is excellent and well stocked to cook on site.

Beautiful lake front house
Can’t say enough great things about this house and the whole process. Beautiful quiet neighborhood, amazing views and the house was stocked with all the essentials (fully stocked kitchen, spices, pantry supplies, bathroom soaps, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer). The icing on the cake was the American flag that was available to fly. Thank you so much for making our weekend one to remember!!

Great home, but...
Loved everything about this home. The hot tub, beach, new dock, and kayacks were great. Would have given it 5 stars, but the air conditioner did not work. Vacasa sent their maintenance man out, but he knew nothing about air conditioners - he did say this had been a problem in the past. He brought us some fans, but they didn't alleviate the heat. So, half of our stay was ruined by unbearable heat on the main floor. Luckily the weather cooled off for the 2nd half of our stay.

Beautiful place
A beautiful house need to only bring personal items of course meals. The hot tub was a big hit for it was a cool weekend. The new dock is beautiful. The only problem we had was with the bull moose that seemed to have made the the backyard his own. witch made the trail to the lake ,dock where our boat was very dangerous the grandkids could not play out side the moose was even bedded down under the deck next to the hot tub at night . He was a handsome fellow but be where their very dangerous. But had a great time anyways.

Wonderful Property
We just enjoyed a 5 night stay at this beautiful property and it is our hope to return next summer for even a longer duration of time. This property is very well maintained, was spotless upon our arrival, had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property manager was on the ball and promptly replied with any questions I had. And, the check in and check out process was very smooth. Thank you!!!

Lovely house, but...
Lovely house, extremely well 'stocked' kitchen, but problems with electrical (finicky microwave, finicky bev. frig), main refrigerator did not work and property management did not communicate beyond providing a small replacement frig (for 11 people), so thank goodness we had our own coolers, and operated with daily purchases of ice. If you have AT&T - leave your phone at home - no coverage. Garbage was never picked up. Lockbox did not work at check-out. Cleaning lady still there at check-in at 4:00. Biggest problem was poor communication from property management, made worse b/c of horrible cell coverage.

A well maintained gorgeous home.
We had a small family reunion and the house was absolutely perfect. It was well maintained and did not lack anything. It is a very beautiful location.

The property is beautiful and the home well equipped. We were in the area for our niece's wedding and met up with our 3 adult children and 2 SO's. Although the single adult was stuck with the 6 twin bed room, we were well aware of the bedding layout when booking. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a cold brew! A few of our party even used some of the bikes to ride along Sunnyside Rd. One of the bikes had a slit in its tire, but the tube held air for a short ride. We enjoyed our time being together for the first time since Christmas.
However, there were a few issues that should be addressed to make this home truly fantastic. Many of the outlets downstairs did not work, making the charging of devices difficult. The internet was abysmal, and although we'd all like to disconnect while on vacation, the reality is that people can now travel AND work, and they expect advertised internet to actually be reliable. When we arrived at the home, we tried to connect to the SSID name given to us by Vacasa in an email and text. That name didn't even exist. So we referred to the binder on the counter that gave yet another SSID name, which did connect with the password for the other name Vacasa gave us. Over the course of our visit, we'd completely lose the internet multiple times per day. When it was working, the upload speed never went over .5 Mbps. The download was an acceptable 7 Mbps, but still quite low for a home.
Our daughter's fiance had to do some work that required video and an upload speed of .5 Mbps would have never worked. This required a drive to the local Starbucks downtown (7 miles away) to ensure a proper connection for an important but short presentation. An advertised "Luxury Home" should have proper internet.
We knew rebooting the router might solve the issue, but we couldn't find it and called Vacasa. After some investigation, we were told we had no access to the router as the owner locks it away. Cell service was sketchy at best (AT&T), so hotspotting wasn't an option. Internet reliability is critical, even in vacation homes.
We have stayed at other houses, including Vacasa properties and this was easily the worst performing wifi we've seen in many years. We have rebooted routers in the past, so it was odd that it was completely locked away.
The Vacasa local rep (Keegan) was very responsive but couldn't do anything about a locked up router. He did suggest that perhaps outages in the area could have been part of the problem. He did offer some compensation for the lack of internet, so I guess we'll see.

Place was awesome for Skiing Schweitzer. Only negative s, dish washer was full upon arrival.
Came home from skiing, driveway had not been cleared of 8" of snow. Calles, with 2 hours it was cleaned.

Beautiful property, with a few issues
Beautiful property with some flaws. The property was absolutely beautiful and amazing. It was unfortunate there were a few major issues. We rented the house excited to use the hot tub since we hiked Scotsman’s. Unfortunately, the hot in wouldn’t warm up and it was dirty. Then the second bathroom downstairs was inoperable due to it not draining. The bedroom downstairs had mold on the ceiling and water issues. The ceiling stared leaking and bubbling. We had to move the bed to sleep. There was some major drainage issues going on. Opened the front door and there was some major sewage smells. Just be aware that if items are left behind there are fees associated with retrieving them. I understand that there are always issues with rentals, and that is understandable. These were some big issues and very disappointing. The correspondence was lacking regarding the issues.

Great lake front property
Great lake front property but NO dock. Large rock (boulders) water access. You can get paddleboards/kayaks in and out but it takes a little bit of effort. Overall nice house with plenty of space.

Absolutely lovely house! Quiet home with a beautiful view, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms. We hated to leave!

Wonderful home on the lake
This house worked great for us. We had 10 people staying at e house and it was very comfortable for all of us. The house was well equipped with a beautiful kitchen and everything that you could need to cook great meals. Had a fire in the pit on the beach one night which was awesome. Enjoyed the beach but could have used some type of ladder or access to get in and out of the water. Tricky getting little ones over the rocks and into the water. Overall it was a beautiful house and we would book it again. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great Family weekend
Enjoyed this family home with very comfortable beds, big central kitchen table and hot tub with gorgeous views of the lake.
The waterfront is rocky and difficult to enter the water so we didn’t swim but the deck and fire pit were great.
Would’ve liked more kid gear and toys and the WiFi was sketchy but otherwise a very nice stay

2 problems but great anyway
Unable to use neighborhood boat launch. Confronted by neighbor who told us property owner did not belong to neighborhood association and had no rights to use it. No property book and couldn’t confirm if owner did or didn’t have right so nearest boat launch was 5 miles away.

Poor communication
While the house and location were beautiful, there were a few things that made it so we would not be booking with these owners again. In the amenities it was listed to have WiFi. However the WiFi was very restricted in which websites we were allowed to visit, which was not mentioned anywhere in the rental agreement. This made it difficult for us in caring for our children since we rely on certain websites for bedtime and entertainment.
The main reason we rented this home was due to the hot tub. When we arrived at the proper check in we were told the tub would need maintenance. The maintenance man did not arrive for another two hours. The tub needed to be drained, cleaned, and refilled which made it unusable for the entire first day. We understand that things happen and are grateful they were able to come fix it. However, we spent a lot of money on this rental and were unable to use the amenity that brought us there for an entire day. I have messaged the owner and left a review on the house and have not heard back from them. I am disappointed by the lack of communication. We feel as though we should be refunded a small amount to account for the unavailability of advertised amenities.

Great place by the lake
I visited in the winter to snow ski. The resort shuttle was 15 min away. The house is well appointed and a great place to stay. I suggest you consider this home...you won’t be disappointed. 😃

Great place on the lake
I stay in a lot of vacation rentals and this home is an excellent choice. The home is right on the lake and offers a great view. The amenities in the house are great and you should have everything you need. I came in the winter to ski so I didn't dare get in the water. The ski resort shuttle is a 15 minute drive. Then you take the shuttle to the top. Great choice
