You pay extra for breakfast but it is totally worth it. Just delicious. Many options. Home cooked, fresh juice.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable. Plenty of space, well maintained, with a piping hot shower. There's free coffee, hot water, and tea, in their breakfast area, and a terrace with a great view. A short walk from the hotel is the town square; lots of little shops and places to eat. The rooms are arranged around a courtyard in zig-zag fashion, so there's lots of windows, but also lots of privacy. A really nice layout of the rooms, IMO.
My wife and I were vacationing around Mexico with our two (adult) kids; of all the places we stayed, this was our favorite. Our visit lined up with a local festival; lots of decorations, fireworks, music and kids dancing in the town square. We'd go back in a heartbeat.
Apple Maps seems to have the wrong location -- or possibly two buildings with the same address. We stopped at the first location, scratched our heads, then got it sorted out with the hotel over What'sApp. The hotel is just down the street from where Apple directed us (and there's a sign out front).

Me gustaron las instalaciones y el personal, increíble atención

I didn't have breakfast. The hotel isn't close to restaurants. Emily and Victor have created a very special place that I would recommend to any family or to a larger group. Excellent planning and design, and attention to detail.
The usual tourist amenities - restaurants, shopping, a bank etc. seem to be located in other areas of the village.

Very cosy and tasteful decor. and everyone is helpful.
I feel that they could charge a bit more and provide better bed linens.

Beautiful complex, nicely decorated. Beautiful garden and nice lounge areas and small rooftop terrace.

Loved the place, cute, well located, great personnel. Much bigger than expected. Don Luis (takes care of the place at night) was beyond sweet, showing us the place and offering us tea/ coffee at 10pm when we arrived. They arranged a tour for us for flying in hot air balloons and it was fantastic!!

Great room, rooftop, location and staff were great!
Nothing!

Everything about this property is top notch from the friendly and informative staff to the comfortable room (one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in Mexico!) to the beautiful and well-maintained grounds and the wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend it!
Can’t say there’s anything I didn’t like. I loved my entire stay.

The Place is very cozy a lot of little corner and roof top to enjoy as common areas. Very clean room spacious and plenty of light and windows. The staff is fantastic. The breakfast is Soo delicious highly recommend...
The shower head is clogged so not much water and not comfortable shower.

staff were very helpful, there was tea and coffee available at all time.

Everything! The hotel was absolutely charming. Our room was huge. The shower was piping hot. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast at the cute restaurant was delicious. All in all it was a real jewel of a place and such a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of Mexico City.
Wifi and cellular service in town was very poor. Fortunately, we are retired and visited on a weekend so it did not cause us undue hardship. Remote workers should visit the area only if they intend to take time off from work to relax enjoy the remarkable sites in the area. Everyone deserves a vacation!

Villas de las Campanas is the BEST! Love staying here. Staff, location, ambience, food are spectacular. Highly recommended.

The room was huge, the entire property was clean and felt very homey. There was a lot of space to explore. There were two terrazas, a kitchen with unlimited coffee/tea and drinking water, a TV room, art room, meditation room/studio. we met the owners and they are absolutely lovely. They speak English very well. All the staff are nice and polite, 24hr check-in and fast wifi. It’s very close to the San Sebastian church and the bells rings all the time and it was surreal. It is situated very close to the Teotihuacan pyramids, you can actually see them from one one of the terrazzas.
the shower didn’t drain fast.

The hotel is lovely; it's a small haven in a small town that is very close to the pyramids as well as if you want to take a hot air balloon ride. The beds are comfortable but the pillows are mostly flat, if that matters to you. The staff members were all very nice and I liked having all the different areas to relax (courtyard, cafe, rooftop) besides my room. I also enjoyed the tea/coffee that was always available. The place is very clean and nicely designed.
This is not the hotel's fault but should be mentioned for future travelers. There are church bells that ring often throughout the day and night. The ring for the last time at 23:00 so this may be an issue if you need to get up early for the balloon ride, for example. There are also many dogs barking and at least once rooster in the morning (05:00-ish). Again, nothing for the hotel to address, but to be aware if these aspects would effect your stay.

Very nice place, beautiful gardens, Victor and Emily show their pride in what they have created, an oasis. The dining room opens uniquely to the animated school yard while you have a very good breakfast. Overlooks the Sun Temple, while the hot air balloons pass by! Ask for the bikes!

great place and very nice staff

It was a great atmosphere, stunning attention to detail and the owners Emily & Victor were delightful. Definitely would stay and recommend to others!

Villa las Campanas is a great surprise, nearly an own world in between a simple rural area and the history of the gods of Teotihuacan.
When the host shows you the rooms and hidden places inside of Villa Las Campanas, you’ll find too many great spots to relax for a short stay.
Secure parking for at least 2 cars, others can park in the road.
By the way: The Villa is perfect for starting a morning flight over Teotihuacan by aerostat.
Some parts are improvised and self made. However, this is part of the villa’s flair.

From the very beginning we didn't expect this stay to be sooo cool! I'm so sorry we stayed for a day only, it deserves several days for sure - territory is amazing, the room is huge and beautiful, it has everything you may need - good internet, hot water and lovely hand made soap <3 There is also a shared kitchen with a vast selection of teas, "instagramable" garden and rooftop views, and a super-friendly and helpful staff! Thank you for everything!
Nothing to say. It was a true surprise to find such an amazing place!

Highly recommended. Beautiful, clean and quiet building. Kind and attentive staff. We spent one night here but would have enjoyed an even longer stay if we had the time. The building is beautifully decorated, the owner is an artist and it is reflected in the colors, artwork, and decor. As for scents, there is licious lavender plants all throughout and our room included handcrafted lemongrass soap. The terraces and garden space are great to relax, read a book, and look over the small and tranquil town. Continental breakfast was timely and we were able to order hand made sopes for an additional cost- delicious! The church is right behind the building so you will hear the bells- only adds to the experience!
Warm water, space heater available, were able to check-in early, food on site, clean rooms and property, kind staff. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a night near the pyramids.
Room was a little tight but met all of our needs.

EVERYTHING, starting from the host (Emily, which is a great person!) to every single detail in the hotel; they think about everything and take care of many details in each corner. It is a beautiful place, it has nice rooms, nice terraces, places where you can bring your beer and have a nice time… We really enjoyed our staying.
Quick suggestion: booking says it is in San Juan de Teotihuacán, it is wrong. It should be adjusted to San Sebastián de Teotihuacan, which is closer to everything, but we took a bus to San Juan, not San Sebastián. The rest was more than Ok

the rooms are airy and clean. comfortable king bed. The common areas are excellent with rose gardens. Secure entrance
you need to arrange for a taxi at the front desk because they “ just don’t drive around” in San Sebastiano. We did walk to Gate 1 to pyramid which was ok and back from gate 5, which was a longer walk. January weather is ok if you like to walk

Staff was amazing, organised my excursions and my airport pick up and drop offs. Made sure my timings was spot on for my flights. Food was made especially for me which was out of this world. Thank you to everyone you made my stay special ❤️
