About this house rental
Set on cliff top land, Neptune Cove's waterfront estate is like nothing you have seen before. With 400ft of private Caribbean frontage, the property is 40 feet above the crystal waters, providing breathtaking sea views and facing west for the majestic sunsets, enjoyed from every part of the property. Sunrises over the sea are also visible during the winter months!
Neptune Cove is less than a 10 minute walk (or 1 minute drive) from beautiful and pristine Rainbow Bay Beach. Famous for its calm, turquoise waters, Rainbow Beach also has good snorkeling.
Neptune Cove's covered wrap-around veranda offers shaded outdoor living, including a picturesque gazebo, a perfect setting for relaxing with a good book or to gather for sunset cocktails. This area is furnished with sofas, chairs, and tables so you can enjoy the sweeping Caribbean views and gentle sea breezes however you choose to relax.
Steps away from the main and guest houses is our oceanview infinity pool. Relax on lounge chairs on the pool deck or on the bar stools in the pool.
For those who choose to swim in the calm Caribbean waters at the base of the cliff, walk down a short fountain path to a natural alcove in the island’s limestone geological formation. It is here that you will find access into the clear waters of the Caribbean, both in and out of the sea via a short ladder. You will be truly amazed at the variety of fish you will see just snorkeling around the coral which is plentiful and healthy in this part of the Caribbean. In 20 minutes in the water recently, I saw queen angel fish, four-eyed butterfly fish, blue tangs, yellow tangs, spade fish, parrot fish, porkfish, various species of grouper and snapper, and many more.
After the sun sets, gather around the fire pit, furnished with Adirondack chairs, and just cherish the view and topography of the land and sea as the unique natural wonders they are. On a clear night, this is also an excellent spot for watching the firmament and falling stars!
Neptune Cove is located in the community known as Rainbow Bay. Our guests are permitted to use the convenient waterfront tennis court just a few minutes walk away.
The excellent food and drink and nightlife of the Sunset Cove (formerly known as the Rainbow Inn) is also just a 5 minute walk away. Grocery stores and liquor stores are a short drive.
Amenities include high-speed internet with WIFI, AC throughout, private pool, gas grill, and a back-up generator.
The Main House
The main house at Neptune Cove was designed for entertaining. It is a large open-concept design featuring a full luxury kitchen with an oversized island with 4 bar stools, GE Profile appliances, and elegant quartz countertops. This is a true chef’s kitchen with every imaginable appliance and utensil, extensive kitchenware, and high end china.
The main house open living room seats 12 people with cathedral ceilings and magnificent ocean views. The dining room seats 12 comfortably (plus 4 more on the adjacent kitchen island) and also has beautiful ocean views. There is a powder room off this living area as well.
The main house has two master bedroom suites with king size beds, ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers, and plenty of clothes storage. Each bedroom has a 32” TV. There is a 50” TV in the great room.
The Guest House
The guest house consists of two separate efficiency suites, each with king-size bed, a queen-size sofa bed, mini fridge, microwave and toaster, coffee maker and 32” TV. Each suite has a full en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and plenty of closet space. Each of the suites sleeps two each very comfortably and can sleep an additional two guests on the queen-size sofa bed.
The Gazebo Suite (additional charge applies):
This private suite beneath the gazebo has a king-size bed and a large ocean-view living area with a sofa bed. It has a full en-suite bath with a small walk-in shower. It can be added to the reservation for $100 per night.

This home was well appointed and just a short drive to the most gorgeous beaches around in rainbow bay. The kids had a blast jumping off the cliff in the back. WiFi strong in the main house, and we had everything we could ask for. Everyone we met was super friendly and willing to help at a moments notice- we are so thankful for the hospitality!

Wonderful property with lots of options to gather with your family and/or friends while enjoying the incredible view. Generator kicked in automatically when power went out. Plenty of kitchen utensils, pots/pans, toilette paper, towels. No problem getting AC to desired temp. Furniture clean and in good condition.

The photos don't do justice to how beautiful the property is, it's breathtaking. I think the gazebo room is also larger than shown. There is plenty of space to stretch out. The snorkeling behind the house is great, go down to the large rocks towards the North, bring your gear! We saw sea turtles daily. Rainbow bay beach is nearby and sandy with easier access than behind the house with the ladder.
Get your groceries near the Eleuthera airport, it's 40 minutes away but well worth the drive as the local places are poorly stocked and very pricey. We had no trouble with water or power since the home has a generator.
The home is generally well outfitted, but it's time for an inventory as there were very few glasses and almost none that were plastic for by the pool. A regular cookie sheet and some plastic cups would have made life slightly easier but we weren't complaining with that view. There were infinite plates, coffee cups, and towels. We found even plenty of the basics and did not have to buy toilet paper, paper towels, or even shampoo as it seems they helpfully leave large bottles prior guests bought.
If you're picky about perfectly clean, it was clean, but not to a hotel or US VRBO standard I would say.
We loved it and would definitely stay again if we made it back to Eleuthera!

Our Empty Nesters group of eight had a wonderful stay at Neptune Cove! The location was perfect for venturing to a number of beautiful beaches and sites to the North (Gaulding Cay / Queens Bath - 20 minutes and Sapphire Blue Hole / Preachers Cave Beach - 40 minutes) and to the South (Twin Cove / French Leave Beach / Governors Harbour - 30 minutes and Ten Bay - 40 minutes) with Rainbow Beach and Hidden Beach just a couple minutes away. The layout of the villa is perfect for a large group and the views are amazing! We enjoyed swimming and snorkeling right along the cliff and the pool offered a great spot to cool off and gather. The staff was friendly (like all the people we met on Eleuthera) and kept everything in good shape while respecting our privacy. We had a lot of fun at the Friday night fish fry and a great dinner at the Rainbow Bay Inn Restaurant. It is the perfect place to stay if you want to get away from it all!

This rental is amazing in every way. We got married on a nearby beach and had 11 people at the home. It was very comfortable for a large group with many outdoor areas for congregating or privacy. The Caribbean access here is so fun. The property was well appointed with all we needed. The nearby beaches and points of interest are easily accessible by short car trips. The small nearby store is well stocked for light needs. The larger stores about an hour away are needed for a good stock of foods upon initial arrival. No fault of the location but the NoSeeUms are no joke. Prepare with baby oil and bug spray to ward them off. A nice wind is a welcomed gift. The property was as described and the owner communicated well, answering all questions quickly.

Perfect for our needs. 3 families with 6 adults 4 18-25 year olds and 2 children 2 & 4. Everyone had plenty of space and plenty of beds. Kitchen had everything we needed. Owner was quick to address any issues. Would definitely stay here again.

Neptune Cove is a special property on a beautiful setting. To find a house on an out island that is this well appointed and cared for is hard. If you have stayed on many islands you know what I mean. The grounds and pool were kept manicured while we were there. The inside of the house was clean, quiet and comfortable. Well stocked. You can hang here, go 3 mins to the beach, 10 minutes to a beach bar, or 40 mins to Harbor Island or Spanish Wells. The grotto was awesome and good snorkeling right there --we even saw a melon sized octopus immediately off the ladder, as it morphed to look like a coral head. Responsive managers and smiling friendly local help.

I can't say enough about how wonderful of a time my family had staying at this property. It really has it all. It's beautiful, spacious, everyone had their own space. We loved the pool and swimming in the Caribbean. We snorkeled and caught fish right off the patio by the fire pit, which we enjoyed at night. We can't wait to return!

The house was great and it lacked nothing. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms made for an easy stay. Waking up to the spectacular views along with having dinner watching an amazing sunset made for a very memorable vacation. The caretakers were extremely helpful along with the booking agents. Smooth transaction. The only complaint would be that the gazebo bedroom needs to be revamped. There was a fairly strong smell of mold which should be remedied. If you don’t plan on using the gazebo bedroom then you have nothing to worry about.

Beautiful property with incredible view. The bedroom under the gazebo had a very bad odor and we were not able to use this room for our family of 12. The property has some maintenance issues.
There was always a perfect breeze and we enjoyed seeing the sea turtles daily.

Neptune Cove was a nice landing spot for our large family gathering of 12 over the Christmas holiday. The views were unmatched, plenty of outdoor seating areas and lounge chairs. Relatively secluded and a bit of a drive to nearest town so we hired a chef service for many meals. Not walkable to Rainbow bay but a quick drive away. Nice to have so many beach chairs an and floats.
Negatives: Pool was NOT heated so was unusable. Dishwasher and Laundry machines were inconsistent/didn't always work. Things could have been a bit cleaner such as pantry, silverware and outdoor bar area had not seen a broom, clorox wipe or dustpan in a while. Strange smell in the lower gazebo room, with "odor tins" spread around (main house also) attempting to cover up smells.
We have owned and understand that ocean front properties take a beating and that supplies/equipment maintenance on the island is hard to come by, but things were a bit tired.
Plenty of beach towels, bed linens, and a water jug that we had to refill ourselves.
Sunsets and starry skies were magical. Turtles visited on our last day. Playing in the water off the cliff was a treat.

Beautiful stay at Rainbow Bay
Beautiful location and home. We had a wonderful time. Island is amazing and the people that live there are so nice and welcoming. Always felt safe when out and about.

If you are looking for a property that checks all the boxes, then look no further. The property was clean, well stocked, maintained, and the owner and care takers were fantastic. We were looking for a quiet, private, spacious, property where 3 to 4 couples could stretch out and take in all that Eleuthera has to offer. A couple property must were, a pool, access to water, A/C, generator, en suite bathrooms, centrally located, and a view. This property had all of the above and then some. The view is one of the best on the island. The snorkeling out back is world class. The grotto/fire pit with wood provided was just a bonus. We have visited Eleuthera several times and this was the most comfortable property we have stayed in. The pictures do not do this property justice. We struggled to leave the property every day and could not wait to return for a sunset every evening. We can not wait to return to Neptunes Cove. Thank you for sharing this amazing property!

Neptune Cove offered so much room for 2 families to spread out and be comfortable both inside and outside. The house was clean, neat, and tasteful. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and spices. The property, especially the cove in the cliffs with access to the ocean, is stunning. We enjoyed walking around the property every morning, as well as fishing and swimming from the cove. The kids also really enjoyed the pool. Sarah checked in with me a few days before coming to ensure we had all of the information we needed to check in. She also communicated with us via text when we arrived. The caretakers, Brenda and Billy, met us there and were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend for big families and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Beautiful and spacious
Neptune Cove offered so much room for 2 families to spread out and be comfortable both inside and outside. The house was clean, neat, and tasteful. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and spices. The property, especially the cove in the cliffs with access to the ocean, is stunning. We enjoyed walking around the property every morning, as well as fishing and swimming from the cove. The kids also really enjoyed the pool. Laid back get-a-way
Our first time to the Bahamas at all and Eleuthera was more of what we were looking for. Quiet relaxation. The beaches are great and the locals are very friendly.
Our stay in this beautiful home was very relaxing. We felt this was the perfect spot for out group of 9. Plenty of space and all the features you could ask for. Pool was great. The cliff side "patio" area was great to enjoy a fire and at night watch the shrimp as they glowed in the water. Turtles just off shore in the water were common. Cliff diving was fun.
The house had plenty of room for us all to hang out together at night. All in all a great experience.
The one thing about Eleuthera is it is rural. No big hotels, restaurants or Walmart. Small grocery stores and gift shops. The island is 110 miles long so a trip nort or south takes time. There are many good local restaurants up and down the island. Rainbow beach was great. French leap was great as was the pink sand beach up on harbor island. The atlantic side is typically rougher than the "Caribean" side.

Great house, the outdoor space was wonderful. There were 10 adults on our trip, and if we wanted space or privacy it was easy to find at this house. Kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook, etc.Beautiful views from the porch, covered gazebo & pool area.Unfortunately, the ladder into the water was missing a “cap” and we could not put it all the way in the “down” position. We stayed at Neptune's Cove in February 2022. We loved it. The rental had so much space and the layout worked well for us. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay (plenty of towels, kitchen was very well stocked, etc.). The location of the house was not too far from town and the views were amazing. We would stay here again!
